Great breakfast included. Best hotel value and experience in the area.
Excellent breakfast included with stay. Friendly, attentive staff. Very well run.
The hotel staff were really friendly and they really tried to accommodate all our needs. The Breakfast was great and the staff were quick to refill food items and cater to all the customers. The rooms were clean and the location was very convenient.
The suite that we stayed in was a bit cramped and could have been more spacious.
I loved the suite and the kitchenet.
I was hoping to have a few cocktails after the kids went to sleep in a lounge, but I didn't fnd that available in this hotel.

Hotel Staff was friendly and Hotel was good location to attractions and very quiet. Our stay was during November construction going on at Hotel which we didn't notice but we were told they would be doing the lobby next so check before you book
of course we went in November and pool was closed but they said we could go to hotel next door and use pool and gym
The location of the hotel was perfect. Perfect for a family with children.
The rooms are absolutely perfect for families!
Make the cookies earlier!
The room is incredibly comfortable and feels like home. It has everything you need!
No, this hotel is simply great!
Absolutely wonderful hotel with friendly staff; Super comfortable suits with a lot of room.
Needed a 2-bedroom suite close to Ski Roundtop on short notice. HS was 15 minutes away from Roundtop and easy to get to from Washington DC area. Hotel is in excellent condition, clean, well laid out and has a welcoming lobby with fireplace in cold wx. Staff was courteous and efficient and eager to please-- they even went through ingredients on cookie packages in kitchen because they put out fresh-baked cookies at 8:30 pm and we have egg-allergic child. Suite was well appointed and thoughtfully designed--bedrooms separated from each other by common area/kitchenette and each had own bath, ceiling fan and Neutragena toiletries. Beds and towels soft and comfortable. Hotel is not on restaurant 'strip' but Isaac's Deli was across the street (little/no traffic) and a 3-minute walk from hotel. We will be staying at Homewood Suites in future travels, perfect fit for our group of 3 adults and 2 kids.
We stayed here while on a winter road trip with our family. The hot tub was very nice, however the indoor pool was freezing. We were so curious as tp the temperature that we actually took a thermometer off of our jacket and stuck it in the pool. It registered 62 degrees! A polar bear would have been comfortable here, but not us.
The suite was lovely, with its own kitchen, spacious living room, and private whirlpool tub. The receptionists were very helpful, and it is always nice to have a hot breakfast included. The dining patio and pool are pleasant and restful (weather permitting). Thanks to our stay here we have reservations for one of the Homewoods in Chicago this week and hope it will be on par with this one.
My family and I stayed here while I attended a nearby conference. Upon check-in, we were advised that they had moved us to a smoking room because someone extended their stay and they ''hoped that would be alright.'' It was not, but the staff told me they had no other option, aside from spraying Lysol in the room. No thanks. Then, when we opened up the sofa bed for my 2 and 4 year old to sleep, we found a beer bottle cap in the bed. The floor was disgusting -- did not appear to have been vacuumed in ages, as my white socks were black and had tiny bits of some red candy stuck to them. Additionally, it appeared that the unused towels were never swapped out before our arrival, as they reeked of smoke. Then, when my conference ran late and I inquired about extending the stay one night, I was told they were overbooked and there was nothing they could do. When I explained that I'd been stuck in a smoking room for 3 days because someone overstayed their visit, the front desk representative didn't care at all. On the positive side, the breakfast is quite nice and the hospitality hour (free beer, wine and food) was very nice, but quite frankly, given the price and the overall indifference of the staff at this hotel, I would find alternative accommodations and not be lured by TripAdvisor's rating that this is the #1 hotel in the Harrisburg area. In my opinion, it most certainly is not.
We spent a couple nights in this hotel and had a terrific stay. The hotel offers a delicious free breakfast and evening light meal as well as cookies in the evenings. The rooms are very spacious and include a kitchen area. The facility is very clean and is within a short driving distance of Gettysburg as well as Hershey parks. The facility has a basketball court, pool table, and a lovely pool. The customer service was great!
