Nice staff, a big room. I reserved a non smoking room, but the room had an sigarett smell.
free internet access, good location, nice staff, good coffee in the cafeteria, nice view from the upper floors staff speaks only Spanish, the extra service for washing clothes is too expensive at 3 Euro per piece and additional 3 Euro per piece for ironing, breakfast was poor
The staff didn´t speak English, but were really nice and helpful and we worked it out somehow. The standard of the hotel is far from luxurious, but our rooms were big and with balconys facing the Old Town. The restaurant has a great view of Melilla, friendly staff, but poor food. Have a drink there and eat in the numerous great cafés and restaurants in the area. We had to postpone our arrival at some hours notice, but got an extra night for free. If I go back to Melilla, I´ll probably stay there again, as my over all experience was good. The location is very good. The Tourist information office just around the corner was a great asset, as I don´t speak any Spanish. We rented a car, and had no problems parking close to the hotel every day. The food, but that was no problem as there are plenty of alternatives very close to the hotel.
The location by the port was excellent. The rooms & amenities were great. I was shocked that being so close to Morrocco they did not accept dirhams. There are no restaurants close to the hotel and the hotel bar closed at 11 so we had no place to buy food or bottled waterafter arriving late. The mini bar was not well stocked.
Large, clean modern hotel in a very good position.
Traditionally looking but, as a whole, a modrn hotel with good service. A centrally situated good "base" for a weekend-trip. Poor knowlwdge of English among the staff
Las vistas sobre la ciudad son espectaculares. Wonderful views over the city.
Special thanks to the kitchen! Dinner was very enjoyable in all aspects (interior of the restaurant, service and quality of delicious dinner) -----
excellent elevated location, great views all over the town, still just 5 min walk to city center with all different shops and restaurants. Hotel restaurant is nice with stunning views over the old town, Breakfast is nice (specially the freshly prepared eggs in virgin olive oil - made to your liking). We can also recommend having dinner there. The service at the hotel bar is sometimes kind of (very) slow, whenever the restaurant in the hotel is busy (bar and restaurant staff are the same). Only very few staff speak some English (but everyone is very helpful!)
The only decent hotel in Melilla. Good breakfasts but only passable dinners. Almost deserted at the end of August, we were the only ones in the dining room and the dinners were not good by Parador standards.
