Because this hotel had a 'restaurant' attached, no complimentary breakfast was included like most hotels. Freeway and train track just outside my window. Train (with horn announcement) traveled by 3 times each night.
The hotel is located right off the freeway making stoping for a good nights rest along my frequent journey from L. A. To Oakland easy . Right up the street is a walking path along a creek a pleasant walk before getting back into the car to continue on to
I have no complaints, my reason for not giving the hotel a perfect 10 is because I only stop in the evening and leave in the morning . I have no experience with the hotel as a vacation stay.
No free breakfast. No big deal for us though.
I like the business center and the little Bistro
WIFI keeps signing me off, but I used the businesscenter instead
The room was very clean, the staff was helpful and extremely friendly! All of my needs were met during the duration of my stay. The restraint inside the hotel was very delicious. I will recommend this hotel to friends and family. Thank you!
Super fast check-in. Clean room with one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. Also, and this matters in the hot central valley, the A/C worked great and cooled the room down quickly.
We have stayed at this hotel before and it's always clean and the indoor pool is great.
Bedding, lobby, overall look of hotel, toiletry products
TV was grainy; couch needed to be cleaned or replaced
Great value for money
Shower faucets waste water. Hotel wastes water by cleaning the driveway with water - even during the rainy season. This contradicts the hotel mission to save water.
Cleanliness and friendly staff
There's no complimentary breakfast :(
Room is comfortable and nice cafeteria. And it's located in a nice town if you do not want to go to Yosemite.
It's far far away from Yosemite National Park.
Clean quiet room
Not the type of room selected at on-line registration. Saturday morning, asked at front desk that the room be made up by noon as we would be preparing for a wedding at 1:00 PM. The room was not touched, no clean towels or bath supplies.
Location and cleanliness
Room I had booked online was not available.
Clean, spacious, nice staff in Bistro.
We were put in a handicapped room, which we did not request. We didn't like the bathroom in this room.
It was a nice clean room
They did not have complimentary coffee in the lobby. The clerk charged me an additional $20 incidental fee that is going to be reimbursed. I had to go back and ask for the room I paid for with a sofabed. The room was hot and stuffy.
Was near the place that we were going to.
Noisy. By the train tracks. No free breakfast.
clean and classy.
no free breakfast - spoils the whole thing.
The room was of adequate size.
No breakfast for such a high price.
Terrible location. This was a party hotel, everyone was bringing in cases of beer constantly in the hotel. The walls are paper thin, I could hear every word of the next door neighbors conversation. Pool was the size of a kiddie pool. Bathtub was a waste.
The rooms are clean and the staff are very nice and professional
We have stayed at this hotel before and was very happy with it. But this time the beds were so uncomfortable we had a hard time getting any sleep. Also there were charges on my card for incidentals that we didn't get.
Room was nice and spacious, Starbucks directly at the frontdesk
A/C was so loud that volume of TV set had to be set to maximum. That way we had from both neighbour rooms loud TV noise.
room was spacious with great balcony
power went out for approximately 4 hours and there were no backup generators...we were told we could drive 20 minutes to the nearest place to get coffee by staff members.
The Courtyard Marriott hotel in Merced is my favorite hotel because it offer Very healthy breakfast, dinner, Starbuck coffee at the Newly Open Bistro and the good thing is that they also offer Bar service at night. I really enjoy the hotel it is worth the stay and staff was very helpfull. thank you the courtyard management team and staff.
It was a very nice hotel, our kids really enjoyed the Pool and hot tub.
Although our travels were during a big event weekend in Merced, CA, the hotel made all the guest feel at home. Since it was a sold out weekend, the elevators were over worked and heated, therefore we had to walk up to our room on the 3rd floor. It was also hard to find water to drink as all the vending machines were out of stock. However, the staff was nice, and we still enjoyed ourselves.
