Giuseppe’s, an on-site restaurant, was delicious.
This hotel isn’t cheap. We were charged $30 per day ‘resort fee’, however, we were never told about the beach area, the small pools overlooking the lake, or the lovely reading room in the main building. The building we were in was damp and musty. The non-smoking room we were in reeked of Fabrese, enough to give you a sore throat. There were 1,000 cigarette butts and a cloud of smoke at the entrance to our building. The carpets are filthy, and we had no shampoo or conditioner in our room. Really disappointing. The price does not reflect the value.
Mill Falls at the Lake is a lakefront resort. Its picturesque surroundings include a waterfall, lush gardens, and a lakefront boardwalk. Along with the Inn at Mill Falls, there are three other hotels on the same grounds and a full-service day spa, salon, and a café for casual dining. Guests will also have access to a private beach for activities like canoeing, standup paddle-boarding, kayaking, and ice skating (in season) when lodging here.
A historic hotel, the Inn at Mill Falls was once a working mill. Keeping with its beginnings, it has a country décor with hardwood floors, chair rails, wall trim molding, striped wallpaper, and plaid furniture. Located in New Hampshire, some rooms have a fireplace to help guests to stay warm in the colder months. Other rooms feature balconies that face the water. Family-friendly, the hotel has pet-friendly rooms along with cots, games, and movies for the kids.
Guests staying at this New England hotel can enjoy an array of amenities including an indoor pool, hot tub, fitness center, and complimentary coffee and tea. You can also relax outdoors on its Adirondack chairs or loungers while taking in the views of Lake Winnipesaukee and its beautifully landscaped grounds. Corporate and private events such as business seminars, church banquets, and bridal showers are welcome at this hotel. Additionally, audio-visual equipment and catering services are also available.
Mill Falls at the Lake and the Inn at Mills Falls are located in the small town of Meredith and within walking distance of the Meredith Marketplace, Hermit Woods Winery, Meredith Sculpture Walk, and the Meredith Children’s Museum. You’ll also be a short drive from golf courses, restaurants, boutiques, and a local theater.
