Pros: An amazing cabin, so comfortable. The owners were lovely and also allowed us to do a load of laundry. Wonderful property with a gorgeous garden that wafted scented jasmine through the cabin all day and night. An experience to remember!
Pros: The only thing to like was the seclusion.
Cons: Firstly, the bed wasn't comfortable and the pillows were too flat. Not enough crockery and very cheap cutlery. And to top it off no hot water for a shower the morning we were leaving. They did offer me a shower in their own home next door, but I had already dressed and was ready to leave. The choice of breakfast cereal was very poor.

Pros: Very accessible to Sedgewick and Castlemaine. Extremely clean and fresh. Very comfortable beds
Cons: No kitchen or even kettle in room. The only window that was able to be opened was too high to be easily accessible. Thankfully I had a grandson able to stand on the bed to open window.
Pros: The location was perfect. I loved that it was bike friendly - bike hangers were inside the room for safe storage. Paula was a very helpful and welcoming hostess.
Pros: The room was spotless.
Cons: I had a hard time falling asleep coz the pillow provided was too flat for me, but there was no other option. Unlike some hotels/motels, they provide 2 pillows. And also, it will be more convenient if the wine glass and crockery are available inside the room.
Pros: Not as much was supplied in the communal kitchen area as on my previous visit.
Cons: Supplies in the refrigerator were well below par from the previous visit. No bread for toast. Rancid butter scrunched up in the door of the fridge. No milk until another visitor phoned for supply. Lack of electric blankets in such a cold climate made for less comfort. Having the air conditioner running all night for some warmth was like having a tractor idling in the corner of the room.
Pros: Every thing was very good just the kitchen was a bit cold
Pros: Brilliant! Paula could not have been more helpful and accomodating. Late check out meant we could pack up and shower after the bike race. Excellent facilities and location. Neat, clean, tidy and warm!! Thank you so much.
Cons: Perfect for our requirements!
Pros: Proximity to Cycling Vic juniors road racing and the in room bike racks. So cool!
Pros: Very clean Everything you need provided Very new Lots of little added touches Excellent communication

Pros: We stayed in Tea Cottage a two bedroom cottage. Apart from the insufficient seating in the lounge, the cottage itself was lovely. There was a log burning fire which kept us warm. There are a number of cottages set in picturesque gardens. We took our Puppy and there were a couple of other families with thier fur babies.
Cons: There is only one couch for 2 people in this Cottage and unfortunately it's a sofa bed and very uncomfortable to sit on. Which in turn made for an uncomfortable nights sleep.
Pros: We stayed in the orchard cottage and it was beautiful and it would have to be the cleanest place that we have stayed in
Cons: The only thing that we didn't like was being woken up at 1am to loud music from the large cottage that didn't stop until 4am on the Saturday night
Pros: The games room was excellent for adults and kids. The grounds were well maintained and designed around surrounding accommodation.Loved the peaceful countryside atmosphere at Taradale Estate.

Pros: Friendly and helpful owner great locations
Pros: Very spacious, comfortable bed, friendly and helpful host.
Cons: Rather remote, a long drive home after a meal
Pros: The Settlers Hut was quirky and inspiring for my photographic sensibilities. Loved the location, the peacefulness. It felt like I was the only one in the world -The birds and frogs kept me company. No tv so there was a moment of anxiety - however got over that as internet worked perfectly. A place I could easily have disconnected tho.. initially I was also a little concerned about the cold but the doona and hemp sheets was enough to stave away the 4degree Celsius mornings.. this place is perfect for unwinding and experiencing 1850-1900s charm.. it was so cosy I didn’t want to leave ..
Cons: As a city girl I have an unhealthy fear of spiders, Lyn offered to clear them so in the end it wasn’t a big issue.
Pros: It was a beautiful property very private
Cons: It was cold
Pros: The accommodation was exactly as described. The owners were very helpful, pleasant and informative about the property.
Cons: It was perfect
Pros: Location of farm to other tourist attractions. Having the whole homestead to ourselves. Lyn and her dogs Eddie and Zoe. Alpacas that ate from your hand.
Cons: A microwave would help.
Pros: Lyn was great, very inclusive, considerate and a total delight.
Pros: Liked the history and rustic feel and the hemp products. Lynn was welcoming and hospitable, it felt like visiting family. Also very peaceful.
Cons: A couple of wine glasses would be appreciated!
Pros: The hosts were fantastic and the studio was lovely! Perfect views and surroundings were amazing.
Pros: The property was excellent.
Cons: There were a couple of items - I left a note for the manager/owner - I'm sure they will be fixed for the next people, so not worth publicly mentioning.
Pros: Great view, plenty of kangaroos around and birds. Great doona!
Cons: Slightly more comfortable lounge and dining chairs.
Pros: Space for two cars
Cons: No hanging space
Pros: Beautiful studio and great views.
Cons: Everything was perfect
Pros: Owners very friendly and helpful. They had great local knowledge and were very happy to suggest cafes, etc in the neighbourhood. Facilities were very good and clean. Great base to explore the surrounding area and towns. Lovely garden surrounds. Nicely furnished.
Cons: Be prepared that there is some road noise drifting up from the highway. To be truly wheelchair accessible a small ramp to enter and also from the lounge to the bathroom would be helpful.

Pros: It was unique accommodation.
Pros: The bed was so comfy. Shower was awesome.
Cons: Needed hand towel and cakes of soap.
Pros: Very clean , modern , well equiped and comfortable bed and a lovely breakfast.
Pros: The unit was clean and fresh inside . These are older units at the back of an old hotel but have been renovated really well for their size. And it is obvious the hotel inside, and its dining room, are also being made into really acceptable premises with a good vibe. The bed was very comfortable with bedside lighting and if needed , electric blankets. A small table with two dining chairs, a small bench containing a tray of cutlery and crockery, kettle, toaster and Microwave and under fridge. Our bathroom was mobility one so large and light with good toiletries and heated towel rail and hot water. A glass hall cupboard had extra blankets and pillows -always appreciated. New flooring and light colours gave a bright ambience. It was also surprisingly quiet. A generous supply of breakfast needs- cereal , fresh fruit, fresh milk, bread , butter and yummy jam- included in the price. The location is a little out of town centre so a car is needed.
Cons: Bit squishy in the kitchenette area with M/W, toaster, jug . Parking also bit squishy but is off the street and outside unit so convenient.
Pros: Clean, quiet, comfy bed, warm

Pros: The location is peacefully secluded, yet close enough to town. The cottage was quaint, rustic and very charming with lots of thoughtful little nooks around the porch. The bed was comfortable and fireplace was lovely in the evening. Well stocked with cutlery, crockery and basic appliances such as kettle, toaster and mini fridge. Thoughtful selection of relaxing cd’s available. Spa bath is a nice touch. Overall a lovely one night stay.
Cons: We were asked to strip the linens which we did but then noticed the pillows were stained and quite old - these should be replaced. Also a bit hard to shower in the bath without being able to stand.
Pros: Tea and coffee provisions were generous. The location is to die for - completely privacy in an amazing cottage. The cottage is gorgeous, inside and out.
Cons: Only complaint is that the fireplace wasn't 'open' as pictured. Having a convection wood heater in a cottage that size is overkill and takes away a bit of charm.
Pros: We liked the peace and serenity of the property. Liked the location very much and the charm of the cottage.
Cons: Nil. There was nothing not to like.
Pros: the place was really interesting and comfortable and enjoyed the experience
Pros: The cottage has obviously had a lot of love put into it with many little touches added to make it that much more authentic with an abundance of character. We would have loved to know more about the history of the place too! We also enjoyed the spa bath and were very thankful for the AC which did a fine job on cooling the place on a scorching hot day. The view was spectacular from the porch. We had a visit from Jack the dog who was a cute little guy that loved a pat! Only a 15 minute drive out of Kyneton for shopping and dinner/breakfast.
Cons: The bed wasn't too comfortable, but that is subject to choice. We were a little put off that we were given instructions to strip the beds before we left...not too sure why, just something to note. We were disappointed to not see any farm animals (we heard there were cows, sheep etc). We are animal lovers and were looking forward to seeing them however we didn't even see one (apart from Jack the dog).
Pros: Beside the spider it was beautiful we loved the cottage and land. This was a glamping experience for us as we normally camp. The 5 hours we did spend at the cottage was well worth the value. Would recommend to anyone but keep in mind of the creepy crawlies.
Cons: We didnt even sleep at the cottage because a huntsman bigger than the size of my hand came out from behind the mirror while watching a movie then disappeared. Knowing it was in the cottage made me very uncomfortable to stay inside when it was at least 20cm long!
Pros: Plenty of room, big back yard, well stocked with breakfast food, plenty of parking, short walk to cafes and restaurants
Cons: Would have been useful to have internet access
Pros: Location was great. The staff were great. The place had everything we needed. Couple of potential improvements could be an air conditioner in the bed room (was so cold but we are from a warmer place) haha and the hot water ran out at one point in the evening but it was good to go again by morning. Overall really good stay.
Pros: Good place for both hot and cold climates. Can park three cars in safety. Big back garden. Large kitchen and lounge. All facilities available to cook yourself a meal. Good TV and radio. Comfortable bed. Great bathroom. Plenty of room in the house to entertain.
Cons: Hard to put your finger on anything. It is in Piper street so you do get some vehicles that go up and down the road but it did not disturb me. I can’t think of anything else.
Pros: The breakfast was good
Cons: It could have been cleaner carpet not clean and a few spiders and cobwebs around the house Bed was very hard
Pros: Goldies was clean and comfortable and it had everything we needed, the location was very good.
Cons: The description of the accommodation was very confusing, wondered whether it was the description of another property. Breakfast supplies were adequate but the cereal that was there was not to our liking, some spreads for toast would have been good.
Pros: The complete package everything was excellent we had an enjoyable stay. Thank you
Cons: Nothing not to like
Pros: Very comfortable king size bed. Good heating/air conditioning. Plenty of room and very clean and well set up. Nice breakfast ingredients supplied. Close to shops & restaurants etc. Late checkout (11am) was handy.
Cons: The house is older and showing some signs of age. Located on the main highway through Kyneton, there is a lot of traffic noise throughout the night.
Pros: Central to shopping and dining. Main bedroom was roomy with great wardrobe space. Lounge room was very comfortable.
Cons: Would have appreciated a larger fridge. Could hear some traffic noise from the main street. The main bedroom was difficult to warm up on cold nights.

Pros: Comfort and facilities excellent. Very good for multiple night stays. Probably excessive for one night but very comfortable. Loved the decor. Easily accessible in a historic and interesting area.
Pros: Henrietta's is such a lovely home! We felt just like we were staying at mum's house!! A great base to explore the historic goldfields sites.
Pros: We loved everything about Henrietta’s Country House. Warm, cosy, and a home away from home. Kerri did everything possible to make it perfect.
Cons: We didn’t like having to leave.
With a stay at Castle Motel in Castlemaine, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Wesley Hill Market and The Mill Castlemaine. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: Bed left our backs sore and room very old and outdated. Toaster but no knife
Pros: The owner was very pleasant, most helpful in every way, we would stay again if travelling in this area, would recommend for value, comfort and location, we were there the same time as a vintage car club was there, good to see history preserved
Cons: All ok
Pros: Didn't have breakfast Location was good - bathroom had recently been refurbished
Cons: Needed milk for Tea in the morning; reception was still closed at 9 AM!!!!! told on arriving that ours was a 'Superior Room'; Christ, I'd hate to see an INFERIOR one!!! Curtain rail bracket was falling out of wall, door lock was faulty, hot water took far too long to heat up in shower, corner table and chairs looked as if they came a junk shop... I might have accepted all this in a $70 - $90 room, but in a $135 'Superior Room'...?? NEVER AGAIN!!!!!
Pros: Average room but hotel is well located in town.
Cons: Poor internet - very slow and dropped.
Pros: It was clean.
Cons: The room needed so much work , needed a complete overhaul.

Pros: Close to everything.
Cons: BEWARE! You may be sharing a small space with complete strangers. I was unaware until I arrived and by then it was too late to book elsewhere. I am a single person and there was not even a lock on my bedroom door! Or a hairdryer in my en-suite as advertised. Considering the price, this is totally unacceptable on many levels. The way the owners advertise this apartment is misleading or ambiguous at best.
Pros: Breakfast provisions were plentiful. The bed was comfy and the property warm on a weekend when Kyneton experienced "snow". The managers were very welcoming and clearly want you to have a great stay.
Cons: The lack of Internet was forewarned, but, still annoying and I hate those little conditioning shampoo bottles. The price of the property was not bargain level, so, we've come to expect more.
Pros: Host just so warm and personal....house big cosy quiet close to all good eateries....
Pros: The location was wonderful and the unit had all the facilities required I would highly recommend this to anyone
Cons: If you are going to be onsite for four days then an extra set of towels could have been provided
Pros: It was spacious and bright. Furnishings comfortable and modern. It had a well equipped kitchen for those who like to prepare their own food. Bedrooms spacious with comfortable beds. Bathroom excellent.
Cons: Food items were provided for breakfast. I think a few more items could be provided, such as croissants, ham and cheese.
Pros: Location superb. Prompt response by onsite manager to rectifying problems with accommodation.
Cons: Cold on arrival, no heating in bedroom, only one thin doona inner, no bath mat for use with shower.
Pros: The unit was very clean and well presented, the fittings were of a superior quality and the manager, Susan, was friendly and welcoming. As it was a very hot day when I arrived, she had the air-conditioning on which was a a really pleasant surprise! I liked the security features and the carport adjacent to the unit.
Cons: The room rate was quite expensive and I was surprised to find there was no WiFi provided. Also, the en-suite became very warm during the day as it was summer when I stayed and there was no covering on the bathroom window.
Pros: First of all we didn’t aware of the share accommodation at all. I was even talking to the owner while booking the property, but he didn’t mention. And once we were there, talking to Susan she told me the same thing every one has got same issue. I was not expecting sharing an accomodation for a small gate away.
Cons: Share accomodation, please make it clear before the confirmation. The price is very high
