Pros: Everything was perfect. Bruno was a great host and easy to contact and get in touch with. The beach is a short taxi ride away. The apartment itself is absolutely stunning, with ample room. Loved every minute of it!
Cons: Beds are a little hard. Maybe if people are staying longer than 3 days, provide a cleaning service but apart from that everything was perfect.
Pros: Bruno's warm welcome, Samia was very nice, the location is superb and the place is breathtaking. Best stay in Tunisia.
Pros: Dar Sema is super nice, cozy and traditional, a beautiful pool. Breakfast is aboundant and very good. The flat were we where is very nice and comfortable. Bruno Made for us a delicious fish cous cous! We had really a nice stay!
Cons: cant Close the windows and when there’s wind it’s a little noisy because they continue to slam
Pros: Peaceful, quite, serenity. For those who are looking for a moment of finding themselves. Educated, friendly and helpful manager , monsieur Bruno. Lovely Arab architecture of the building. I spend three nights here.
Pros: Perfect place. A huge house with everything in it, very clean, very cozy. Great location
Pros: Everything. This place is a gem
Cons: There was no soap for washing hands
Pros: It was an interesting property. It was tastefully done up. Bruno met us and guided us to the property. The location was good. Longish walk or a short drive to the Center/Souk. Plus a few restaurants and tea places around the place. Center courtyard was nice, we enjoyed a drink one evening under a beautiful star lite night.
Pros: perfect location if you are not interested in tourists spots, though you can easily walk 2 km to the village market and old town. For me it was perfect location, quite, outside the tourist center, next to the village and very close to the kite lagoon! I loved the location, and the apartment was quite comfortable and large.
Cons: sadly the internet connection doesn't work in all premises as promised, but only in the swimming pool area
Pros: Layout and pool
Cons: The nearby beach is not so nice
Pros: The place is beautiful, we loved interior design and location.
Cons: Nothing to mention, everything we needed was provided. After the big storm the wifi broke down, but we could live without it.

Pros: Clean resort friendly staff. Food was good and plentiful. Rooms were clean and spacious.
Cons: The food could be of better quality.
Pros: Actually I was serviced too good since I interned the lobby , starting from the reception guys n others ended

Pros: I liked the most friendly staff and good service, food in restaurant was delicious also and everyday there was some different foods
Cons: Laundry service could have been better, we had just from trip to sahara and had wait our laundry many days. Also i think safe in the room (you have to pay extra) is overpriced.
Pros: - food was ok, but not many varieties - view was ok - staffs were fine, but sometimes they too greedy just to try sell something
Cons: - poor internet connection - gym was under maintenance - pool was mostly occupied with kids or men

After a day of hiking, snorkelling or cycling, guests can relax in the garden or in the shared lounge area.
Pros: Beautiful villa. Tastefully decorated. Comfortable rooms surrounding a pool. I had the whole place to myself so felt like a king. I didn't meet the hosts but the manager was charming and helpful. Free bikes which really helps for exploring the centre of the island.
Cons: It's located on a strip of road a bit away from the centre. Being here during Ramadan it was impossible to find anything to eat or drink in the immediate vicinity. The bikes help a lot. The breakfast was kind of basic for a place of this quality. Baguette with cheese spread, carton juice and instant coffee. There is a coffee machine but apparently no coffee to go with it.
Pros: The exoticism of the colors of the villa, the courtyard and the garden.
Pros: Everything was great the staff the house was beautiful
Pros: Traditionally designed villa, beautifully furnished, colorful & welcoming.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.
Pros: I stayed here on a short visit to Djerba. I was picked up at the airport and brought back to the villa. I was the only one staying so it was very quiet. Breakfast in the morning was good. I was able to use a bicycle to get around, which was helpful because I wanted to go explore the center of the island. Security was great, which was helpful since I was staying alone. If I had a longer stay, the owner would have shown me around the island. Overall great place. I think it would have been more enjoyable at a busier time!
Pros: The people who worked at Villa Jasmine, made our stay special. The person who manages and communicates with guests did an excellent job and was friendly and helpful. The housekeeper was a star, warm, friendly and patient. Both were very attentive and had a good sense of humour.
Cons: We liked everything about the villa and facilities
Pros: Very beautiful and tasty; suites are quite big; pity you don’t have a high table. Big kitchen and nice garden; all well kept
Cons: Breakfast was a bit poor. Made sandwich with marmelade was all the bread; fresh juice was nice. Only one toneel per person is not enough for three days.
A stay at Djerba erriadh places you in the heart of Houmt Souk, within a 5-minute drive of Borj El K'bir Fort and Houmt Souq Harbour. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk and multilingual staff.
Pros: Decoration, clean, comfortable beds, lovely court yard
Cons: No hot water in shower, hot water in sink though
Pros: Simple old hotel with a nice air of faded elegance. Bang in the middle of the medina atmosphere. Cool calm rooms with comfortable beds. Spacious rooftop terrace with great views. Excellent breakfast. Lovely management.
Cons: Bathroom fittings somewhat old. Wifi is slow. But who's complaining at this price and in such a location?
Pros: Location in the souk. Traditional architecture, nice rambling flowering plants.
Cons: All the plumbing in the bathroom dripped, sink tap, shower head and the loo. The bathrooms really do need updating.
Pros: The location is very convenient and the staff were very nice and friendly. We need to leave very early in the morning. The staff made us a very good breakfast at 4:20 am! The room is clean and comfortable. We like this hotel.
Pros: A historical hotel hidden inside the souk. Comfortable, clean and very laid-back. Taxis are nearby, for a quick run to the beach. Restaurants, bars, historical monuments and everyday item shops are a quick walk.
Cons: The only criticism is the internet. It works, but just.
Pros: The location perfect, staff friendly the bed was comfortable
Pros: The staff is super friendly, efficient and helpful. Excellent breakfast and room with a lovely patio! Very central and close to bus station, taxi stand, eateries and shops.
Cons: A few general maintenance jobs need seeing to. It's a lovely place which needs some TLC!
Pros: Excellent location in the medina, with plenty of shops and eateries nearby. Beautiful old building, carefully restored, with traditionally furnished rooms. Extremely kind staff, especially Hattim (sorry if I misspell the name), who helped us with the luggage to the bus station, at 6 in the morning! And the best breakfast at a hotel of its category in Tunisia!
Cons: The roof of the bathroom was damaged and the (pretty strong!) wind was blowing through, making the temperature in the room unpleasant. Happily, next day they turned the central heating on, so things got much better.
Pros: Good location, nice staff

Pros: Staff Big room
Cons: No wifi in the room. Only at reception. Not convenient for business Coffee is so bad you have to order a special extra on cost to drink something close to coffee. Industrial ugly fruit juice. What about fresh local fruit???!!! Old bed not confortable. Ok for short stay. Hairdryer out of order
Pros: We liked how the property looked and designed especially the courtyard with swimming pool. The location is good as it’s just close to the beach. We liked the politeness of the staffs and the brilliant Tunisian couscous served on dinner. We really enjoyed the balcony with our room.
Cons: Let’s start with the room itself. We knew it’s a budget room but that couldn’t be the excuse for not enough lights, the light fixtures were dangerously loose, the main light never worked, the AC is the most temperamental equipment in the room...it starts and stops as per its own wish. The toilet was basic but needs paint job and repairing. Simply put the outside and the courtyard doesn’t match the room at all. Now the other things that went wrong. We were booked for the flamingo island excursion which includes a taxi pickup from hotel at 8:45am to the port, where we supposed to be boarded onto a yacht. It’s a guided tour with music and animation on board plus lunch, back to hotel around 3pm. The total cost asked from us was £120 TDR. We happily agreed and paid immediately. Now the same night the trip was cancelled due to bad weather forecast...which we completely understand. Instead of that trip we were offered a taxi tour exploring Djerba island. This is what surprised and annoyed us...the taxi took us to some good locations, no problem in that. But it was from 8:45am to 1pm, no lunch included but price was same!!!! £120 dinnar! Felt like we were being ripped off. How can this 4 hours taxi trip around Djerba locally visiting 4 places can be compared to the above mentioned excursion to flamingo island!!! Can be same price too??That’s cheap tactic of not refunding money. And yes all payment were taken by cash!!! No card payment accepted here and we all know why is that! Lastly, we told during check in that we have to catch a flight to Tunis from Djerba Airport at 9 am, day after. So we were suggested to start from hotel at 7am by taxi, which was kindly arranged by the hotel. But no breakfast can be served as the breakfast starts at 8am!! We were served coffee, store bought one piece of cake and yogurt per person. Never experienced this before anywhere. We paid for bed and breakfast. They couldn’t even boil few eggs and provide us some toasts! It’s appalling.
Pros: Breakfast was good, staff were friendly, helpful, rooms were clean, hotel ambience was welcoming.
Cons: Beds weren't so comfortable, there was no wifi in the room, no drinking water, fridge or kettle. Towels were not provided for the beach.
With a stay at Le Grand Hotel Djerba in Houmt Souk, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Borj El K'bir Fort and Houmt Souq Harbour.
Cons: the quality was minor to the low price, moreover I can not understand why I could not pay with my credit card.
Pros: Location , costumer care and services
Cons: Room was cold at night AC was not heating properly
Pros: The hotel is very nice, clean and close of center. The owner and workers are very friendly. I like it a lot
Cons: Not clean
The Hotel Sindbad is located in the heart of Djerba, surrounded by artisan shops and jewellery stores. It has a large exterior courtyard and rooms have an open balcony. The rooms have marbled-tiled bathrooms with a shower. They also have a fan and offer satellite TV. The hotel Sindbad is 1 km from the Port de Houmt-Souk and close to the Mosque des Turks. Breakfast is served daily at the Hotel Sinbad and can be enjoyed in the guestrooms upon request.
Pros: It has potential to be amazing. It is a beautiful old property with a lovely courtyard. The staff were so accommodating considering that I only got there at 1AM and the manager was kind enough to help me find a bank the next day, going from one bank to the other with me to find a bank that can help me with a moneygram translating for me to the best of his abilities. It is also perfectly situated literally right in the middle of the souq, you don’t need to go far for anything
Cons: The bad impression started with the bar at the entrance where I was leered at while getting out of the taxi and called to. Walked through the beautiful front door, but the place was dirty, it honestly needs a good spring cleaning, there was cobwebs in the corner by the reception desk that look like it has been there for years. All the beautiful colors are faded with dust, in General the common areas just need some TLC And maintenance. The shared toilet was terribly dirty when I went in there, I honestly lost the need to go in there as someone had refrained from any aim whatsoever. The room was very tiny and crammed with furniture. Despite the fact that they crammed a shower in there (that I appreciated not having to share with anyone)there was a double and a single bed in there with no space between, I had to walk on the beds to get to the other side of the room to get to the power socket. Both beds were hard and lumpy. The pillow was so lumpy that it felt like it was filled with rocks. Pulled the covers back and both covers had several large brown stains on them along with several large holes burned into them, at least the sheets looked clean and again we had the persistent cobwebs all over. From the architecture you can see that it is a beautiful historic building, but historic does not mean that you don’t have to clean it. Please remove the cobwebs and wash the bedspreads once in a while. I beg you. Also, no hot water in the shower in the morning and the evening.
Pros: It’s in the perfect location in the middle of Houmt Al Souq and has both the bus and taxi stations just across the street. It’s a beautiful old Tunisian house and the staff are more than friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it.
Pros: The location and the atmosphere of the hotel are incredible
Cons: The Rooms are very hot
Cons: Bathroom is not in the room. Towels were just too old, and bath mattres was old and looks unclean.
Cons: Not like the Fotos
Pros: Gorgeous hotel in a beautiful old building. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable, shower was nice and hot. Location is excellent.
Pros: Only the location it was in the right place
Cons: Absolutely nothing as it was not this I had in my expectations The rooms so so small the toilets also so old ..no had aircontision as when I booking I saw had ...the owner was terrible really when I saw that it was no this is i expected and i say to him tgat no put the truth in booking he ask me all the money and he warning me that he will go at police .. I was travelling with my partner and I close a double room and he forced us to pay another one room in addition because we were not yet married, and this the first time happened to me in Tunisia ... I always closed double room and every one at the reception was discreet because I am European and never have any problem his behavior was unacceptable and made me angry but cos I did not know the area i stayed ....but I will not do it never again
Pros: Really nice people, good service, best location and clean.
Pros: Good location only
