Pros: Perfect location and very relaxing time spent.

Pros: The place was really cosy and everything needed was available (nice extra to have free coffee and tea at the B&B, and services like restaurants, shops, trainstation were close by). Jan and Inge were really welcoming and eager to help. The breakfast was really delicious!

Cons: It was a bit cold in the room, which was inconvenient in the evening. However, it was really a good temperature for sleeping, because the duvet was really nice and warm.

Pros: Really kindly place! The room was bigger than I thought. The bathroom was in common, but really clean. The owners were really available for all my request, including the free bike rent

Pros: The breakfast was lovely (charged separately) and the room was very pleasant and well appointed. We were warmly welcomed and our bikes helpfully stored. The room was charming and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

Cons: The rooms in the original building are a bit small and historical. While, they have many running paths throughout the grounds, Denmark tends to get a lot of rain, so these can be muddy. It would be nice to have an indoor fitness center.

Pros: Wonderful, peaceful location in a park at the waterfront. We even saw porpoises one evening when we went swimming from the hotel's pier! Our room was cozy and the bathroom was huge. Excellent breakfast, a high-quality á la carte restaurant (we dined there twice during our stay) and a lovely hotel bar. We loved everything!

Pros: Perfect location , nice facility, old castle with very nice designed rooms. Parking. Room and bed -very comfortable, coffee machine, tea and coffee in the room . Good breakfast. Many tv channels but mostly in German and limited in English. Restaurant and food was excellent, service as well. Nice walking area around, lake, forest, deers. Bikes road. We liked most the atmosphere in this place and will definitely come back in summer time.

Cons: Wifi didn't work properly. Would be good to have normal cups for tea at breakfast hall or small kettles. To use small coffee cups- not suitable. Check out at 10 is a bit early.

Pros: Hotel Koldingfjord has an excellent location by the fjord, situated on a south-facing hillside in a small forest. There are good footpaths in the forest, nicely signposted and convenient for walks and jogging. One dines very well in the restaurant, and the breakfast is top class. Our room was spacious and well equipped. It is neither, luxurious, very cosy or overly modern, but nice and comfortable.

Cons: The Hotel attracts conferences, and at times the restaurant may be crowded for breakfast.

Pros: Superb rooms very comfortable and clean with extra pillows. The Danish nursing museum next door, you must stop and walk through, this area has a lot of history x

Cons: Shower doors glass on glass seemed fragile when opening and closing. Burned out light in shower we reported first day was not fixed during our stay.

Pros: Fresh, clean, comfy, delicious, spacious... great view at gym and spa. Just what I needed on a road trip!

Pros: Swimming pool though small was very nice and open at 6 a.m, the room was lovely very clean with nice furniture. The staff were very good and friendly.

Pros: LEGOLAND is just half an hour drive by car. McDonald’s Burger King is close to this hostel. Nice clean hostel.

Pros: A clean and easy stay when passing through Denmark on a family trip. No problem checking in late. Unfortunately had no time to try out any of the facilities outside of the room but it seemed nice.

Cons: Bear in mind that it is a hostel and as such has no free towels. Was unpleasantly surprised when you had to pay to use the towels put out. Being five guests it suddenly became a lot pricier. This information was not easy to find.

Pros: Super clean, great breakfast, great staff.

Pros: The property was clean and the beds were comfortable. There was a lovely view over the lake and city. We were arriving much later than normal check in so arrangements were made to make this easy for us. Communication was always easy and the reception were very helpful. The bus/train station is about a 25 minute walk away.

Cons: This is not the fault of the property, but we arrived later in the city by bus and then walked to the property. The google maps function led us to an unlit back entrance with quite steep uneven stairs. There was nothing there to indicate we were actually at the right place until we reached the top.

Pros: Clean and easy. Good price for what we got. Very close to city center.

Cons: They charged me extra money for not having their membership card. Not a huge amount but still not included in price.

Pros: Accommodating host who greeted us even though we arrived late (2230), soft beds and clean beds and towels provided, coffee and tee also available which is nice early in the morning.

Cons: Sleeping under the hosts which means that you hear footsteps quite often which could be a problem if you're a light sleeper. The room could have been vacuumed better.

Dinner was great, but you must be prepared for that diners is fixed, so what you see (on the menu-board) is what you get. No a-la-carte. However what you get is of High standard. The hotel is both a normal hotel as well as a conference hotel which means that it’s quit big with a big lobby, restaurant and breakfast room. On the other hand great furniture and a huge terrasse where you sit having a wonderful view over Lillebælt and the Sunset. The staff at Severin are all very smiling and service-minded and will do their utmost to make you feel good. Around the hotel are several coffee/tea spots, where you Can have as much as you like for free

Pros: This hotel is much better than only 3 stars - extraordinary service oriented stuff, nice and cosy rooms, foot bath opportunity with own bath salt as a goodie, good food and beverage. Highly recommend this hotel!

Pros: The most beautiful building on the shoreline, with breathtaking views across the bay to the neighbouring islands. The view from the terrace (used for both breakfast, and the main restaurant) was beautiful. I spent several hours just gazing. The food in the restaurant was 5* and highly recommended.

Cons: It was quite warm in my room so I'd have liked air-con, but that was the only minor concern.

Cons: The most important business of a hotel should be that you can sleep well. The room only had shading curtains and I woke up at around 3:30 due to a very bright room; and was impossible to sleep longer. I am not used to that kind. There should be black-out curtains in the room or at least normal darkening curtains.

Cons: I checked out very early in the morning. When I got to work that day I realised that I had left my Airpods (€190) in the room. I rang the hotel and they said they were not there! I am 100% positive these were stolen by the staff. I have recommended to all my colleagues to never return to this hotel!

Pros: Nice breakfast(many choices, healthy ones too), nice rooms(we are a family of eight, so had two quite spacious and lovely ‘business’ rooms, and a decent sized family room), good(firm) mattresses, real mugs and glasses for coffee and tea in the room(let’s loose single use plastics altogether), nice lounge area close to rooms with free tea and coffee and a view of the small lake, dinner was nice too(quite large portions), friendly and helpful staff.

Cons: The drain in the shower in the family room gave an unpleasant odour when showering.

Pros: clean, comfortable room with all the facilities expected from this class of hotel. Good wifi. Good breakfast included. Enjoyed watching the robot mowing the lawn! 15-min walk from station.

Cons: in a very green area next to parks and sports arena, but on the edge of town and a long way from shops etc.
