Perfectly set within idyllic countryside surroundings, the hotel provides all the conveniences you can expect from hotel accommodation with the comfort of your own home, thus affording you an unrivaled experience, and pleasurable stay. Ideally located between Milton Keynes and Buckingham, the hotel is the perfect choice for accommodation whether you are visiting the area on business, or to sample one of the myriad of nearby historic sites and attractions.
Very friendly staff, the owners go out of their way to accomodate anything that you need. This is our 2nd time visiting for an event close by. Would diffinately use it again/
Only thing that I would say is that the dining area lacked warmth other than that everything else was great!
Cannot think of any
The mattress on the bed was 'lumpy' and very uncomfortable and I almost got scalded with the shower.
Was near where I wanted to be
attitude of staff, lack of atmosphere, lack of fellow customers!!
I liked very little about this hotel. Only thing I did like was being able to leave.
The staff where slow, not fit to run a hotel. There were only 3 members of staff working. The hotel smelt stale and the decor was old. The food was terrible and very over priced and the beer was stale in the bar. On leaving I was charged 3 times breakfast. The breakfast itself was terrible £7.50 for a portion a child would be hungry after eating, continental was no better unless you like dry croisants and fruit that looks like it had been there since the war. For those who remember Fawlty Towers then I would rather stay there than in this hotel again.
Although a basic hotel, it was clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Evening meals not readily available
No carpets in the guesr rooms.
friendly & helpful staff
Food menu was limited
In easy reach of where I needed to be.
Room basic. Shower was like the ones you stick on the taps at home.
It was a bit expensive considering the grade of the hotel.
