About

Inglewood House is an old and quirky guesthouse offering high quality bed and breakfast. Our room prices vary from £75 to £125 per night per room based on double occupancy including breakfast. We have other rooms available including family rooms with three beds. The additional charge for a third person is £30 per night. Inglewood's position is amazing with the Wye river to the front and Offas Dyke path to the back. The village is well served with two great pubs serving good food. The rooms are spacious and very characterful, some with open fires which can be lit on request for an additional cost. Bath robes and towels are provided. Mattresses are pocket sprung and the bed linen is Egyptian cotton. A choice of feather or synthetic pillows is available to guests. The rooms have iPod charger/players and flat screen televisions with DVD player.We provide complimentary WiFi. We are happy to provide a selection of films if required. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided with biscuits and home cakes when time allows. Redbrook is a lovely village in a picturesque setting with the beautiful Wye Valley and on the edge of the historic Royal Forest of Dean. It is extremely central providing easy access to Monmouth, Abergavenney, Brecon, Hay-on-Wye, Ross on Wye, Cardiff, Symonds Yat, Chepstow and Hereford among many places. Bristol is also a mere 40 minute drive away.There is a bus stop right outside the house. The bus runs between Chepstow and Monmouth.There are train stations in Chepstow, Abergavenney, Newport and Gloucester. Please note that we have a small and elderly Lhasa Apso dog who lives in the private part of the house. We can provide storage for bikes, canoes, fishing gear etc.House Rules; We ask guests to respect the private areas of the house. We do not allow smoking in the house. Breakfasts are served in the dining room from 8.30 to 10.00 am where the wood burner will be lit on cooler mornings. From September to May breakfasts are cooked on the aga providing the dry cooked aga free range eggs sourced from a local small holding. A variety of cereals, fresh fruits, compote, breakfast breads, home made muffins, croissants will be on offer in addition to traditional cooked breakfasts cooked to order. Whenever possible ingredients will be locally sourced and ethically produced. We work hard to make your stay with us as enjoyable as possible. You can be sure of a good night’s sleep as all of our mattresses are pocket sprung and when it’s cold outside you can be sure of a warm welcome. We have full central heating and for a small extra charge will light a fire in your room. If you’re heading out for a day walking or fishing we are happy to supply a delicious packed lunch. We have links with local fly fishing and river fishing and we offer storage for your fishing gear. We also offer storage for your canoes if you are planning to paddle your way down the River Wye. A local beauty therapist offers a range of massage and beauty therapy treatments in your room. On cold days the fire in your room will be lit on request for an extra cost. We are open all year round and offer off-street parking.
