The swimming pool and steam room were fantastic! Lovely warm (termal?) water, which made swimming in the out-door pool a real treat, despite the rain and cold weather. 1. It was incredibly warm in the hotel (halls, rooms, etc) - waste of electricity. 2. A lot of information (about swimming pool, spa treatments) was only available in Italian and German, not in English.
deep pool , very comfortable water temperature, quiet room, friendly personal at the desk, in dinner room not sufficient chairs and too little space for relaxing near the pool
Big room Very old fashioned hotel and people. Must be recondicionated. Bad quality breakfast.
I had a fantastic and relaxing stay.
Excellent reception staff
Excellent Staff. Service provided was great. Excellent Food and Wine.Memorable place. If you have the opportunity try the SPA. Highly reccomended hotel.
Nulla Very small room, it could just fit one single bed. There was no privacy, there was one wooden door to separate from the room aside. After the shower the bathroom was flooded and I had to clean with towels available. The staff didn't care less of my request of help. Do not go there, it is money wasted.
Excellent family-run hotel, very clean and tidy, spacious rooms with balcony, excellent swimming pools - very clean. Very nice atmosphere. Very close to the railway station - less than our from Venice. Highly recommended for stay in Venetto region if you travel to Venice, Vicenza, Padova or Verona.
Very difficult to find.
The stuff are always good feeling, everyboday is kind, quickly response to ask something. But this time I found the cleaning is not good. My room's floor is always same dust even if after the room cleaning. At the same time table cloth and seets are completely clean. The room plan is not good. Bofore I spend a room was perfect big windows and big balkony, but in this time the window is a small but toilet place with same size window. And without balkny. It's pity for guests.
Friendly clean Nothing
The location was centrally located in Abano Terme and the continental breakfast was very good. My wife used the pool and was very pleased with the warm water. The hotel staff was very friendly and accomodating. We would definitely stay there the next time we visit Italy. No.
Dinner but not brakfast Perosnal at restaurant expeditive, matress bad quality, cheap and funny fitness equipment
I like the swimming pool price was included in the hotel rate The breakfast experience wasn't at the same level as room and swimming pool . The breakfast was at continental buffet and the location was a bit old fashion I am used to be in open space with very nice view to spark your day out..... but the quality of the breakfast was very good.
This is the only hotel with a pool in the surroundings. These cannot be found in Padua. Abano Therme is a place which stayed in the 1950s and did not come out of it. The staff was not too polite. Breakfast was untill 10.30h and from 9.50h there hardly anything left at the breakfast table. The lights went off at 10.25h while we were still having breakfast.
Very good barman! Sauna is very poor and on bad location!
location spa and pools are very old
The overall reception and friendly atomosphere the service at the pool was poor. ( no information about towels, no change of towels) also I would like to have better information about the different service for massage, and other health and beuaty treatments
Swimming pools. No.
The swiming pool with thermal water, rooms, atmosphere, surroundings, lobby(es),the parc at the front of the hotel.
Nice hotel, good location, well equipped, easy to find. For using of swimming pool you have to pay extra 15,- EUR. Hotel is used mainly by retired people.
Comfortable accomodation with breakfast at an affordable price. The breakfast staff was wonderful. The room wall safe was never in working order.
Clean & pleasant rooms. Good location and great facilities.
No air conditioner, very hot, poor breakfast mosquitos No internet available, it should have been accessable free of charge
The staff are very professional, helpful and friendly. The facilities are excellent, and the location very good (very handy for visiting Padua during the day, but coming with the benefit of beautiful clean air and access to the Euganean hills). Most of the guests are Italian, which was a positive point for me, but there are enough staff who are English speakers if you need it. The hotel has a friendly and informal atmosphere.
We liked the peace and quiet, the general ambience of the hotel, the swimmingpool, the friendly service. There was a problem with English language being understood by staff, except for Myra at reception,we would have had big problem.
from the website, i was under the impression the hotel was in the country.
The hotel has an excellent position, nice rooms, very clean and good service. Also, the Easter lunch and dinner were excellent. The managemnt could consider a wider variety of food.
Hotel staff was very friendly, good facility, swimming pool with massage was big enough. Excelent lunch and dinner every day. It also sits in the center and have activies every week. A bit small parking place, sometimes can't park if there are too much guests in weekend, most of parking places are without shadow, it makes car in high temp in summer time.
The hotel is nicely situated in the Centre of Abano close to the shopping area. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are comfortable and the pool and spa area provides very good opportunities to relax and spend some beautiful holidays. to pay 15 € for a bathing coat which felt old and worn out.
I liked the hotel location, the helpful and kind staff. The fact that the hotel was small and not crowded contributed to the relaxed nature of it
The town, the coffee The attempt to charge for the pool, seemed to be the only hotel in town not to advertise its location on the local signposts, the ability to book in English but not to have anyone speak it (not a good complaint I know as I should have expected to need to speak/understand Italian in Italy)
Beware of this hotel. They tried to charge us 20 euro's per person (80 euro's in total) to use the swimming pool and we were only in it for 15 minutes on the day of our departure!! - their reception did not tell us when we checked in that you had to pay to use the pool nor was it contained in the booking conditions.
Relaxing, luxurious hotel near to Padua for sightseeing. Very good spa and other amenities Restaurant service hurried but effective. Takes 24 hours to know your way around
Everything was the best
good food pay 40 Euro for swimming in the pool. This must be inclusif in the room cost. Bad cushion with plastic material. Furniture in the room is poor for *****
Enjoyed the gardens and pools on the hotel property The quality of the food was not up to the standards of the rest of the hotel and the wait staff was rushed.
The hotel lobby was filled with beautiful antique furniture. The food at dinner was excellent. The pool called "Alaska" was 28 degrees C and perfet for doing lap swimming.
