9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location , rooms, food , specially jacuzzi... Staff was really very co-operative
Cons: There is nothing which is not to be liked about sinQ morjim..
6.3 Good
Pros: Rooms were clean Staff was courteous and helpful
Cons: Parking was a good long walk from the property Space crunch between rooms Below average pool Noisy neighbors
6.7 Good
Pros: Canopy beds with curtains
Cons: No pool No privacy to use jacuzzi/ bathtub
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: The only thing I'd appreciate is that they respond to the mails and calls though for giving excuses.
Cons: Have had a terrible experience with SinQ, which ruined our entire holiday. Had done the booking one month in prior, paying half the amount. While we reached the destination to check-in, we got to see the resort shut with no electricity during the monsoon. We had to literally spend the night outside on the road until we found another place to stay. Had they informed us in prior we wouldn't have faced this terrible situation. Even after repeated mails and messages we haven't been refunded. The location is just worse. Not even a proper road to reach the resort. Having no knowledge about the places in Goa, we realized we made a mistake choosing this place! Would never ever opt for SinQ. It's been a NIGHTMARE for us !!!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The bed was massive, the staff were amazing, pool and hot tubs were a added bonus.
Cons: The breakfast was a little basic, our first room we were given didn’t have a best view but after two nights we were up graded
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything starting from the location and staff and value for money ... Excellent is the word ..
Cons: Soothing music should also be played or few instrumentals for Indian crowd will definitely make some difference
Casablanca Morjim - Morjim - Building
2
9.0 Excellent (96 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Featuring a garden and a terrace, Hotel Casablanca offers colourful accommodation in Morjim. With a bar and massage facilities, the property is 200 metres from the sandy Morjim Beach. With free Wi-Fi, the air-conditioned rooms include a balcony, a seating area and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. The private bathroom has a shower. There is a restaurant on site serving Indian, Italian and continental cuisine. Hotel Casablanca is 12 km from the Chapora Fort, while Dabolim Airport is 50 km away.
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: Difficult to locate the property, there is no room service, very few Indian food options. This property is not for Indians.
6.0 Good
Pros: It’s a decent villa property with a quaint feeling. Cleanliness was good, Russian owners were pretty sweet in allowing a little extra time for checkout. A good place for short stay or people on a low budget.
Cons: Facilities could have been a little better. Like missing kettle, air conditioner (dint feel the need but in case you re coming in hot weather) and a small pool would have been great to chill out.
6.0 Good
Pros: Location. The entrance of Morjim beach is literally 3 mins away from the hotel and you can almost spot it in 10 steps once you step out of Casablanca. Cleanliness of the location and rooms. Support staff are helpful (I will come to the owners later). The restaurant is dead slow (for food) but the Goa is supposed to be slow hence I can agree to this! The rooms are very basic. This isn't a corporate chain hotel so expecting full fledge toiletries or services is not fair.
Cons: The owners (both Russians) seem friendly but not really friendly. Looks like they are forced to take Indian guests to keep the property afloat but given a choice, they only want Russians and possibly other nation guests. I don't expect every stranger to be friendly but being the hosts, I think expecting basic courtesies is fair. If the owners can even manage a bit of smile, I wouldn't mind staying at this place at all because it matches everything else that I would look for in a place to stay! I gave 6 star rating for the location, room and especially Ram in the support staff who was really sweet.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, the whole place had a theme. Well maintained garden. The bathroom is clean and has hot shower available all the time. The beds are comfortable and the room has dressing table, cupboard, tables, fridge, glasses to drink, soap, clean towels and clean bedspread. The room has an excellent balcony with comfortable easy chairs to chill. The bar has some standard bottled drinks available and has nice music. The omlet breakfast done by the owner is tasty. Beach is 6mins walk. Shacks are available in morjim, if you walk for 10mins towards ashvem.
Cons: Mobile Signal (airtel)inside the room is not good. WiFi is not good in your room. The bar and restaurant could be maintained better. There are two dogs and two cats. The dogs are generally quiet and chilled out, but I would recommend not leaving kids on the restaurant area by themselve, as they may get scared of the big dog.
7.5 Good
Pros: Beautiful
Cons: Mosquitoes are there... no proper ventilation in rooms
6.0 Good
Pros: beach is close, owner lives on premise and is helpful
Cons: nothing around/quite isolated, mosquitos (no fly screen on windows)--> mosquitos in room, non airconditioning
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Owner is very helpful and kind, location is very good, near to beach and the garden is also very nice. Very good for couple to spend time at peace.
Cons: Food options at hotel, room cleaning should be daily

9.3 Excellent (52 reviews)
Overview Reviews

5.0 Okay
Pros: Location is really good, close to Morjim and La Plage. The pool is also really nice
Cons: The rooms are a bit shabby, there are shower curtains instead of regular curtains. Not well kept.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The building and rooms are beautiful. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Overall wonderful experience. Our hosts Aneel and Nayan were terrific. Hotel very comfortable; 4 minute walk to beach. Had best meal of our lives here! Many thanks to the staff and hosts!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a beautifully designed stylish hotel, with great touches like antique local furniture. The suites (and they were suites) were large and comfortable. It felt like an exclusive boutique isolated resort nestled in the jungle. The pool was spotless. A wide array of activities was available, like ping-pong, board games and so on. The food and service were outstanding. The breakfast selection was large and tasty. We occasionally dined at the hotel as well and were never disappointed. Our non expert survey of other local resorts confirmed that this was the best. The internationally branded hotels are in another part of Goa.
Cons: Although the architectural design was great, the U shaped layout of the buildings produced an acoustic canyon effect. It was too easy to hear other residents. On our first full evening, the senior owner decided to start Karaoke night with his buddies at 11:00 PM. My sleep-deprived alter ego came out in force. The wife and son profusely apologized the following morning. This part of the Goan beach can attract techno music tourists, so a little distance to the beach was good. Sometimes, the beat could be heard from a huge distance. The road to the beach was a dirt road which is not unusual, but required some precaution at night. A conversation with the junior owner indicated how attentive they were in efforts of continuous improvement. Don't be surprised to find shoddily installed sockets, that still function fine. Some roof tiles were broken, which could be regarded as a rustic touch or poor maintenance. In general, the positives far outweighed the negatives.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Location was adequate- no water view as suggested on website. Staff was friendly.
Cons: Owner is a shyster. This is a 3 star property at best with extremely high prices. Never would we stay here again. We were extremely disappointed in the dump of a place and tried to get hm to allow us to stay only 5 days as opposed to 10. He absolutely refused. This is a Dump of a property!,

Aquatica Resort & Spa - Morjim - Bedroom
5
8.5 Excellent (19 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Aquatica Resort & Spa in Morjim, you'll be in the entertainment district, a 3-minute walk from Ashvem Beach and a 2-minute drive from Mandrem Beach. Featured amenities include a business center, limo/town car service, and express check-in. For a surcharge, guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle (available 24 hours) and a train station pick-up service.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Located a 2-minute walk away from a well-stocked mini-market, great restaurants and 3 minutes away from an ATM. 6-minute walk down to the beach. Deluxe concrete cottage was a good-sized room, very comfortable and spacious for 2 people and suitcases. Hot water always in the taps, nice warm duvet/blanket on the bed, 2 pillows. Nice sit-out at the back facing away from the hotel, just an empty field and in the front a large lawn. Swimming pool has many levels which are great for sitting, lounging or swimming. Manager Arun so, so helpful that he should be recruited to train managers of all hotels. All staff from the smiling watchman, receptionists, restaurant and cleaning staff are just naturally helpful. Thank you!
Cons: A few extra hooks in the bathroom and a towel rail would have been helpful. Maybe a little more shelf space in the room too. It's a great place, I love it and I keep going back.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place was great. Very clean and very well maintained. Everyday, the staff would water the flowers and plants, clean the pool, sweep the ground and as a result one seems to be in a middle of a beautiful garden. The room was spacious, very clean and room service was done everyday on demand. The location was also very good since the beach was not further than 5 minutes walk across the street. There are also shops on both sides of the streets where you can buy whatever you might need. The staff was very courteous and efficient. We had breakfast and dinner there every night and were quite satisfied with the food. Surely, it is more a resort than a restaurant so that if you want to taste more elaborate food you may want to seek restaurants that offer specialties, but at Aquatica, we found the food to be very good. We were there for 6 days so we had a good choice of different food every evening. The waiters were also very kind and professional. People at the front desk helped us with providing us a driver for tours both in North and South Goa. I definitely recommend this place. You will not be disappointed!
Cons: The form of payment. We had to prepay via bank transfer the entire cost of our stay for which my bank charged me a hefty fee. Their bank in turn also charged them fees so they did not get the full amount I sent. As a result, there was a balance they asked me to pay upon arrival, but they were very kind and waived the bank fees and I was much thankful for that. I just think that a place of such magnitude should offer other form of payments such as credit card, Google pay, Paypal or pay cash upon arrival. That is my only complain and more than a complain it is a suggestion that would favor future clients.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location of the property was ok.
Cons: Although property looks good & all - our stay was quite uncomfortable. Even though the rooms were empty, we weren’t allowed early check in saying there had been some pest control & then we found cockroach in our room on the very first night itself. Next morning the shower didn’t have hot water & on complaining about it they took too much time to fix it yet could only manage warm water that too only got short time. We asked for an opener & they took half an hour to get it to room that too after personally going to the reception & asking for it. Frankly speaking after paying this much of money, if I have to go through all this, I will never recommend this place definitely not worth the money.
9.0 Excellent
Cons: The AC in the wooden cottages was not effective enough. The cottages get hot in the summer.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Super comfortable and very clean, cosy room. Nice balcony. Beautiful garden. Excellent housekeeping service. Friendly staff except reception. Also, beautiful and very good spa
Cons: Reception work is below any good standard. Reception ladies were not welcoming, indifferent, ignorant. They didn't welcome me, they didn't offer me a chair, I was filling papers standing!! by their table, also at check-out they didn't ask me how was my stay. My feeling was that I am rather disturbing them
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The pool is lovely, and being so close to the beach without the noise of actually being in it is great.
Cons: The bar/restaurant doesn't seem to use filtered water for washing fruit and vegetables, so bear that in mind when ordering food and drinks.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic place carefully maintained. Paradise.
Cons: Nothing negative at all
5.8 Okay
Pros: The privacy and the patio doors leading to a garden area at the back
Cons: It was very tired and scruffy with stains on the headboard and general in need of a good makeover
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Room quite big and private bathroom very large, frigobar in the room was amazing property super nice with beautiful garden and pool
7.5 Good
Pros: Really nice resort, beautiful swimming pool and really nice and comfortable room.
Cons: Should have an option without breakfast, because it was clearly poor and not good.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a wonderful stay at Leela
Cons: No complaints!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The music played at breakfast really set the mood for a peaceful and relaxing day. Rooms were simple and very comfortable and the artefacts around the property meshed perfectly with the greenery... will definitely stay here again soon! Loved that the beach was just a few steps away!!
6.7 Good
Pros: Close to the beach.
Cons: The rooms were exorbitantly priced compared to what was in the offering. No view whatsoever as the rooms are far away from the beach. Otherwise peaceful.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location by Ashvem beach. Lovely quaint cottage-styled rooms offering privacy and loads of space. Thick green foliage on property is very relaxing. The staff is warm and friendly.
Cons: We went to Leela Cottages because it used to house a restaurant called Elevar, which functioned as an upscale beachside shack with great dining and drink options. However, this year (2020), there was no beach shack with the property which meant getting food and drinks by the sea was a bit of a bummer. What we found strange was that we were told about this only the day before our arrival when we called the property. As for the amenities in room, given the going rate of the cottages, we should’ve been provided some basic toiletries of a good quality (toothbrush, toothpaste, body lotion, conditioner, etc). Other than that, everything was great.

6.3 Good
Pros: I will give a honest review of what i liked the most about my first trip & stay at Goa! Below are the Pros for our stay at La Vega Resort:- 1. Please go there for Siva- He's doing a good job & has been very helpful whenever I asked him for anything. Be it arranging for my anniversary cake, or detol when I fell from the scooty. Even the other caretakers like Monica & Nishita are friendly. They are coming up with a new property nearby soon. 2. If you are a group of families (couple only) or group of friends looking for budget stay then please go there. 3. There are 3 rooms down & 4 rooms up. So, total of 14 people can stay in a single place. 4. The place has good accessibility to Morjim & Ashwem beach (if you have a scooty). Baga/Calangute/Anjuna beaches are a bit far away from here, but if you have a scooty-no worries. 5. Light had gone in the entire area in night due to rain, however there was generator. 6. Food was arranged for us twice at no extra cost by the caretaker and it was good. :-)
Cons: Following are the Cons OR things that I wished could have been better:- 1. The name La Vega "Resort" is misleading. It should be home stay, guest house or PG. 2. The rooms are very small-but, kind of OK for couples (without kid). I had to sleep down. I got a bed-sheet & pillow though, which is good. 3. TV was not working-my kid wanted to watch tv, but was unable to do so as there was no cable connection. I hope these little things are taken care of & fixed soon in new property. 4. We wanted a professional photographer to shoot our 10th wedding anniversary, however, we got a CON-man who didn't new how to click photos & he never gave us our whatever pics he clicked. This was a disaster & ruined our expectations. 5. There are many such con-man around Baga/Calungate beach area, so please don't get lured by when they offer some scratch card or lucky draw coupons etc.
7.9 Good
Pros: staff, location, close to market and bus stand.
Cons: Minor things. Some renovation was going on but it was nothing uncomfortable. A bit far from the beach which will make it difficult to go to the beach in the evening to night time without your own vehicle.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was good..
Cons: There was nothing to not like about the place. Very hospitable staff.. Shiva and Nikki were always available and down to help.
2.9 Mediocre

Pros: Can't remember a single thing.

Pros: Extremely Clean.. Helpful staff... Great ambience... Nice rooms.. Landscaping is apt
Cons: Reservation desk will need to pick up the phone.. always busy
6.0 Good
Pros: beautiful location, externally the resort looks beautiful, clean rooms, clean sheets, simple and beautiful
Cons: The houses barely have any walls, they are wooden log cabins two, one above each other, literally can hear every step and sound from the room above and is very loud and disturbing, if people living above you even wake up to go to the bathroom in the night the people living in the cabin below WILL WAKE UP!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Well presented room, comfy bed and bottled water daily.
Cons: The restaurant facilities were under utilised on site., as was the pool. The restaurant needs to be staffed at all times so food is available when people want it, not an hour later.

Pros: We stay here during our Goa trip, staff were very polite and helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: During the last years we have traveled for months all over Kerala, Goa and Karnataka. Baywalk Goa is hands down the best guesthouse we have stayed in. I've suffered a loss of a loved one recently. Their staff was really attentive, sensitive and respectful during this hard time. Special thanks to Ramesh whose smile lighted up even the darkest days.
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like. Everything was perfect -Their well-equipped, clean rooms with AC, tasty breakfast, free, filtered drinking water as well as a vast selection of both indoor and outdoor activities.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice home type hotel! Super service, Thank You Rames and Aashish for Your warm welcome! We will definitely come back!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The cleanest place in Goa, very cosy! It is became our sweet home and sometimes I didn’t want to go out. Ashish was very kind and help with all questions even if it was not about the hotel. They cook great and ask us to enjoy. We got 2 rooms apartment with balcony and kitchen. The pics 100% match in booking. And even better in reality. We had evrthn in small details in the room. Laundry for free ( don’t forget to tip), they help us with renting cheap scooters. And 24/7 could reply and help. Ramesh very peaceful openminded person. He could teach you yoga ;) and bring a lot of kindness in yr heart! They told a lot of interesting stories about religion, culture . It is very right place and people in Goa! Thank you ❤️

7.5 Good
Pros: Good food (ex-breakfast). Helpful staff. Great value for the price. Clean pool.
Cons: Basic property but great value for the price. Breakfast spread was sparse for non vegetarians (just omelette and pancakes). Room lighting could use a bit of an upgrade in class. The "fitness centre" is really just a treadmill which was disappointing.
6.0 Good
Pros: I liked few members of the staff who were helpful, the room service and location of the property.
Cons: The reception desk staff tried to short change my deal. Through booking.com I was assured a pool facing supreme room but on arrival was given a smaller room with a view of shanty sheds. I had pre-booked a baby cot through the booking.com, I was asked to pay extra for it at the reception. Finally the description of the room on booking.com site included facilities like iron box, refrigerator, minibar, etc but at the hotel they informed they will provide it only of guests ask for it on rotation basis. Hence I rate it poorly on value for money. As rooms and amenities as displayed on the site is not what you will find there. And add to that argumentative front desk staff who despite evidence of my booking tried to deny us our committee service. I had to firmly fight for it.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing, makes me never want to go back to Goa.
Cons: Everything, makes me never want to go to Goa. The room, food, room service and staff were absolutely terrible. Worst hotel I’ve been to in my life. Never go here

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely deck
Cons: Bathroom bit old
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Location great!
Cons: Too expensive for what it is! Restaurant is not on the premises!!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Small, efficient, close to beach and good food, people were very friendly and helpful
Cons: The bathroom, and doors needed some upgrading
7.0 Good
Pros: Best location! Literally 2mins from the beach! Exactly like the images, though a small stay with 7-8 huts but nicely kept, jacuzzi is the main highlight!
Cons: No room service, no television. Slightly overpriced. The price could have been a little lower, as you can get good 3-5 star hotels in this price with better services. Apart from nothing really to not like this place!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is the highlight of this property. Located literally on a private beach, but less than 50 metres from the food and drinks places. The resort is well kept, and stylishly done up. Jacuzzi works fine, staff is very helpful.
Cons: Could do with a little better upkeep with the amenities tbh; e.g. the bathroom exhaust vent was broken, allowing a stupid frog to climb inside.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, cleanliness and non-interfering staff
Cons: Its not what I didn’t like..few more lights in room would have worked well...also being a beach resort the one thing that was really missing was the hair dryer in bathroom
9.0 Excellent
Pros: you open your door onto the beach and can watch the sunset from your balcony . There is restaurants either side of the accommodation , one of which also offers yoga .
Cons: Cold water from the showers and jacuzzi outside .
4.0 Okay
Pros: The view
Cons: There were so many things about the resort which didn't met my expectations. One could easily afford a 5-star hotel in this price in South goa or even in north goa. The locality, the services, everything was a disappointment. How could someone even ask for such a price when they don't even have room services, in room dining, proper cleanliness? Forget in room dining they don't even had a kitchen, we had to move out everytime we wanted to eat. Worst part was the frequent power cuts (at least 5-6 times a day for 5-10 mins each).. I've been to so many hotels, resorts in Goa but Larisa was a unique experience- disappointment in every sense!
