There is an elevator It’s located near the Kazanski railway station
It’s a little bit far from the road so you have to walk a little bit with your baggage. No clear signs to lead you, hard to find hostel. We arrived late at night and they made each of us pay 200₽ for arriving late! The room smelled awful from the sweat and the wet clothes being laid to dry, it was also very very hot. And we couldn’t sleep in it, when asked to have my money back and find another hostel the receptionist refused, then thankfully he opened the windows of the room and offered his bed which is in another room and we slept somehow well.
pretty close to the center (you'll always need transport, but the hostel is close to bus and metro and the ride won't be long), to fast food, deli, and a small outdoor gym/park just outside the door balcony no busy street, so actually pretty quiet between trains
1.rough start with the staff - walking barefoot not allowed (first time ever in a hostel, not included in visible policies) but also they don't offer slippers to borrow (also a first) - so they forced me to buy one-time slippers for 50R, which amounts to an unjustified overcharge since they mention none of this in their policies to give people a chance to decide against this hostel before booking. also someone stole my slippers the second day :/ but the staff did come around in the end (but don't pull somebody else's earplugs out!!!) 2. train track directly next to the hostel, very loud, also people active during the night and sleeping during the day - so little sleep, and hard to use the room during daytime 3. lockers, but no keys - so essentially no lockers, despite being listed as such 4. staff didn't really speak anything but Russian, I was happy to help them translate occasionally 5. Wifi practically not functional, probably over capacity 6. showers cramped, no lockable door, only 2 for the entire hostel 7. no decent supermarkets in decent proximity 8. a bottle of milk and a bottle of coke were stolen from the fridge
Dirty, noisy, rude and incompetent staff. Completely impossible to sleep at night, because everyone is allowed to make noise in a bedroom. Cleaning staff is crying and laughing from 5 am til late night. Awful place
