The staff here were amazing and very very helpful and couldn't do enough for us, and the hotel is incredibly central in location.
The room we got was very different to the ones on the site, and despite being a non smoking room really smelled of cigarette smoke every time we came into it. The hotel is also on two floors of a building with open access so anyone can in theory get to the door of your room if they wish. There is also no safes in the room despite this!
Clean and tidy room.
Couldn’t find it, probably my stupidity more than anything else.
The location, for those who wish for a quiet stay in the old town (central) was excellent. Restaurants, including some great streetfood, and major streets/attractions were 2-20 minutes' walk away. The staff was always gracious and kind. (For instance, one night I was up all night working in the lobby, and without my asking or them seeking payment, they offered and brought me an espresso. They also provided a very helpful and complete additional set of directions also shared by the hotel by email after I registered online, and were quick to answer questions by email or in person.) As someone who has traveled a fair amount in Europe and Asia, but on a first trip to Italy, this small 'pocket' hotel was what I expected, and it matched the website descriptions. Overall, it was a great deal for the location, price, and level of comfort I sought.
The only unexpected aspect, initially, given my particular background, was the amount of graffiti - I wasn't at first sure whether that indicated any aspect of safety, but one saw it was everywhere in this area, and not just near the hotel, and in some cases, was a source for photo-ops!
Near the centre. Very friendly staff. It would be much better if they could speak in English.
Very noisy till 16.00. Not the appt but someone was making a renovation at the upper floor.
Bed was extremely comfortable and a good dark room for sleeping in. I had a great sleep! Fantastic location in centre of town too.
Night manager was a bit angry / rude because I booked / checked in late that evening. It's a little over priced but correct for the area.
