Well engineered and thought out. Droning is a pleasure. Speed limits are reasonable most of the time, roads are great! Few tolls and they low in comparison with other European countries. Congested areas can be daunting due to a few reckless high speed drivers. Just stay to the right and avoid them.

Poor- i will be asking for a refund. The car i was supposed to rent was for 7 passenger's. They did not have a 7 passenger car and was told the car they had for me was the only one available and only sat 5. With our people and luggage that did not work. We had to leave luggage at out first destination and return to get it at the end of our trip. It cost us $300 to store luggage, an extra night at a hotel, an extra day of car rental to retrieve the luggage, extra food and fuel. All told $500euro. Sixt was not accommodating

We had not planned on hiring a car but circumstances changed and we needed one when we landed . I approached the desk to seek availability and got a yes for €350 a day which was ridiculous. I went on line and got the same car for €125 a day, when I went back to the desk with my confirmation number I was told I had to wait one hour for service even though there was no customers there at that time. One hour later the lady gave us the car but not without major drama about insurance and unlimited attempts to upsell us a different car and more insurance.

Very good customer service for pick up, very nice people, friendly and very helpful. Easy drop off as well. Good company, like. I only gave it bad rating in cleanliness and price. Little dirty inside and pretty dirty outside, seems like they just passed the vacuum cleaner after receiving it and that’s it. Great car though! Very comfortable, spacious, GPS, CarPlay and USB charger… But also crazy expensive 900 euros for 3 days…

Be careful renting from Hertz in Naples Center. We were recently ripped off. We secured a guaranteed rate on our Hertz rental before leaving for Italy. This was confirmed by Hertz itself! While travelling to the Central train station for our car pick-up, we received an email saying that our reservation had been cancelled. This was 2 hours before our scheduled pick-up time! When we arrived at Hertz we were told that there was no explanation for why the reservation was cancelled but they still had our car available an we could still rent it but we would have to pay and additional 100 Euros for the week, We were captive and had to take the car. It appeared to be a pre-meditated scam, like a street vendor putting jewelry on your wrist then insisting that you pay him for it!. I will be reaching out to Hertz itself to get some resolve and will be happy to report if we are ever able to get satisfaction. Be very careful and, I suppose, always pre-pay. So surprising and disappointing for a company like Hertz!

Horrendous. First, there was no clear signage of where the Hertz car rental office was located when we exited the Naples Train Station. We ended up going to another location blocks away. Then, there was no car! When my family and I found the lower level office for our car that was reserved weeks ago and at a higher price then local companies like Sicily By Car (we thought to go with a rental company known to US-based travelers), the Hertz agent claimed we had cancelled our car the night before and that a notice was sent and cash refunded. When we asked the agent to assist with locating another car, he was annoyed and said no cars available anywhere. He did not help. We did not receive any text or email. And we are still trying to confirm we were not charged.

The rental location isn’t where it says it is on apple maps or Google maps, the extra fees for being under 25 are extortionate for told it would be 28 euro a day for 3 days ended up costing me 258 euro for the 3 days nearly more than triple what I was originally told. There was no explanation as to how the drop off would happen it was simply a case of here’s your keys and here’s your car. The car itself I could not fault worked perfectly and was a pleasure to drive. The staff I spoke to were friendly enough I feel as though it is the system in which they use that is to blame.

There was no shuttle service at Napoli Airport, so we had to walk to the agency. We experienced a long wait at the agency, and they gave me a smaller car than the one I had booked. While the car was clean and in good condition, it did not match my reservation. The staff were polite, but overall, the experience was not as expected.

CAUSION they are thieves / scam artists. the method they applied on me (and i saw it when i returned the car on two other people): - claim there's an issue with the reservation. in my case: > claim driver's license from outside the EU isn't valid > i showed them the website that confirms validity as international - said it isn't in Italian > showed them the Italian regulation, in Italian - said it's not in their policy - forced me to pay 100 Euro additional insurance per day or they will leave me in the worst part of Napoli with two kids to fend for myself. be careful!

Was given a car with a known computer malfunction. VW polo with “EPC” light on limiting the RPMs to 4K meaning high way travel was nearly impossible for our trip. Dropped the car off a day early and wrote Autovia an email with listed malfunctions and complaints. Never heard back. Will never use them again.

Upon arrival in Naples, we discovered that Addcar has no physical counter or presence in the city—neither at the address provided nor anywhere else. Additionally, none of the phone numbers listed for Addcar were working, making it impossible to reach anyone for assistance. As a result, we were unable to pick up the car we reserved. We are requesting a full refund for this failed rental.
