Pros: I loved the enthusiastic welcome, the green and serene environment, clean and happy staff, classy rooms, delicious food, state of the art appearance of the whole place was tranquilizing. What pleased me even more was the fact that my wife loved everything and Hoped to be back as soon as possible.
Cons: At this state,i found everything lovely
Pros: The people location and the ambience best
Cons: The TV wasn't smart TV..
Cons: Service was woeful - took a long time for anything to come and the service was never with a smile. Restaurant was terrible, food options very limited and often had run out. I had to stand at the drinks station for 10 minutes waiting for a glass which I asked for 3 different times. Coffee machine was broken and so filter was the only option throughout the entire hotel. Rooms were not clean - bath was full of small bits of rubbish. Toilet paper very poor quality. We paid to play golf on the worst course I have ever been on! Greens had sprinklers in the middle which were on, water had to be dodged whilst putting and the hose had to be avoided. There were no fairways and the grass from tee to green was so thick that the ball would be lost if not on the green. The design of the course is comical - trees throughout the course making most holes physically unplayable. Check out was farcical - we were told we had 20% off food, drinks and activities during our stay. Upon check out we were presented with a bill which was full price. We were then told that changing it would be incredibly difficult and my party had to wait for over an hour whilst the hotel worked out it’s errors.
Pros: The children’s activities were great. The quality of food was good. Most of the staff were good
Cons: While check in is indicated as 1pm, despite arriving at 4pm our rooms were not ready. We got a very rude receptionist upon arrival. The wait staff were overwhelmed on Christmas Eve and most people went without dinner. It was interesting to note the General Manager seating having drinks with with his friends/family at the bar on Christmas Eve between 18:30 to 21:00. Actually, we ordered a cocktail which took forever and our waiter said the GM’s table had to be served first.... This was quite the shocker!! The pool is advertised as “heated” while it was constantly freezing cold. The pool changing rooms only have one toilet and one shower (with lukewarm water)
Pros: The views
Cons: The food
Pros: The fire place in the bedrooms
Cons: The staff appeared demotivated. The prices of food are quite steep for the quality offered
Pros: Pleasant friendly staff, welcoming and easy to talk too. The animal sanctuary was fantastic Breakfast with the birds a great experience
Cons: Breakfast closes at 9.30 Check out at 10am, both force you to wake up early and forget about relaxing. Food wise, 6/10 and this is generous, buffet was poor, run out of certain foods, the carvery lamb was over cooked, beef stew must have been hiding the beef. Desert again ran out of some items, quality overall was poor. Breakfast, fresh bread was dry, pastries lacked butter in puff pastry, bacon over cooked, fruit ran out (went back twice for pineapple but seems it must be hard to find in Kenya, it’s not like it’s grown here ??
Pros: The location and the staff
Pros: In room fireplace that is lit at turndownservice is absolutely wonderful. The hotwaterbottles left in the bed are fabulous. The reception and concierge service is great and quality of food in the restaurant above and beyond.
Cons: Service in the bar slow and uncoordinated. Eating a gala dinner outside when it is 10-16 degrees, even with heaters under a tent is really not ideal and plain freezing. It would have been much better to stay within the ballroom indoors.

Pros: The Food and the ambiance of the location. I liked the view from the room as well as the bathroom setup.
Cons: It was good but little and some of the items in the menu were missing from the actual meal. For example, the full breakfast did not have beans yet it was in the menu.
Pros: The service is excellent. Polite staff and very good ambience
Pros: Privately set rooms in bungalow style each with fantastic view of Mount Kenya
Cons: 1. Room ceiling was crumbling in one or two places and leaked when it rained during our second night. 2. There are no evening activities so it gets very quiet very early. In a resort style hotel it would be great to have evening activities, even just a camp fire, organized 2 or 3 nights during the week to get people together after dinner.
Pros: We only stayed for a night, but it was quite unforgettable. Thank you so much, Simon, for ensuring we were well settled in during our short stay. We will definitely be coming back
Pros: Very zen and tranquil. The view of the mountain from the room's front porch was priceless. Staff were friendly and courteous as well.
Cons: I wish the sign at the junction from the main road was lit up. I almost missed the turn at night.
Pros: The breakfast was really good, and the morning view of Mt Kenya is just out of this world. Very relaxing place, great staff! Nice, clean place.
Cons: I left yearning for Kenyan tea! The management should consider serving tea as requested by the customer. I do not expect to be served English tea if my preference is Kenyan tea...
Pros: It was super clean, high quality with relaxing ambience
Cons: Perhaps they could provide hot water bottles for the beds at night as it got really cold.
Pros: The view of Mount Kenya, quality food and very friendly staff.
Cons: Some of the drinks i wanted to take were not available at that time.
Pros: Location is fantastic. Meals were great and the staff very friendly
Pros: Staff are amazing and friendly, the food is fantastic. The rooms are very beautiful and comfortable
Cons: Probably wished there was a pool, but didn’t really matter as I had a pleasant stay anyway

Pros: The food was excellent. Lovely breakfast spread, attentive staff and scrumptious yet fairly priced dinners. Rooms are beautiful with comfy beds and large airy bathrooms.
Cons: There’s not much to do in the hotel. Lovely garden but quite small.
Pros: The breakfast was incredible, the ambiance on point and overall it was totally worth it.
Cons: No toothpaste in the rooms.
Pros: Extremely friendly, excellent food, pleasant ambiance, nice dog.
Pros: lovely property. Good breakfasts. The only issue is the noise from the boda bodas (Local motorbikes) which is very bad until about 10 at night then it reduces significantly. Property was very good though.
Cons: noise from local motorbikes
Cons: Very very slow service and no information from the staff on how to get a hot shower
Pros: Their breakfast is well done, with variety to choose from. Totally worth it. Le Rustique is easily accessible from the Nanyuki town....it is located right next to the main road

Pros: the room is superb and excellent front office staff with a hands on manager
Cons: Ensure clients who share villas can have access to another Jacuzzi..Clients cant share a Jacuzzi. The pool is too cold consider heating the pools and please have the Jacuzzi washed as clients who would wish using them in the morning cant use them as they are still not washed in good time before checking out.
Pros: the steak was yummy
Cons: the drinks selection in the villas
Pros: Friendly helpful staff, large rooms, relaxed atmosphere
Pros: The property is gorgeous and staff were great. The kids facilities and activities were awesome.
Cons: The food was a no no!!! They need to work on it asap!!! I had to go to Nanyuki town to Ceder mall to look for food at Java and KFC. I also bought some from the supermarket. That was the only thing me and the family did not like on bit. I wasn't the only one complaining among the guests.
Pros: The room and bathroom was wonderful...majority the bathroom...
Cons: the Jacuzzi on the roof don't work and the staff don't come to assist us...the basketball field was not good...the restaurant when do a la carte was horrible....buffet excellent....staff are not professional...
Pros: Nice drive to the location, received well. The bathroom is however nice . Activities to carry out also good. That coupled up with the rooftop pools/jacuzzi is the only plus to the place. Roof top view
Cons: Unfortunately had to carry some of our bags to the room. The room is suprisingly small. There is poor handiwork....everywhere . The painting was crooked. No decor on the wall unit. How do you not have international wall sockets esp for US wall plugs. They should also mention the types of room views available. There was little to no wifi.only works at the restaurant. Only 1 supersport channel available . Then on check out say we had snacks from the room?? The roof top was dirty even the pool beds. Eek The concept is good but looks like it was a cheap excecution. I would say its not value for money . Its just overpriced.

Pros: Without doubt one of the favorite hotels i stayed during my time in Nanyuki..Most friendly and helpful receptionist ever.,so lovely and great first impression of the hotel Compliments to the chef, the breakfast selection was outstanding and the evening dinner was superb. Very nice swimming pool, private and very clean too Spacious rooms, well equipped and clean tough should work on the insects., The restaurant is very flexible, the staffs are very helpful. Well stocked bar area with a clear view of Mt.Kenya The hotel is in a quite area. I was very pleased with my stay although short and sweet
Cons: The small insects, but it was well taken care of
Pros: The facility has a homely environment. Its in a quite location and easily accessible even by public transport, has enough space for children to play. I enjoyed the evening bonfire most.

Pros: Nice view over Mt. Kenya.
Cons: Basically everything. - The rooms had a lot of spiders and were not clean. - The food was horrible and took ages to get. We waited over an hour for the food ever time even though we ordered plain chapati. I ordered a chicken pizza and when I got it, it had chicken bones in it and everything was cold. We wished for some wine and food from the menu but the didn’t have it. - The staff had such a bad attitude and were NOT service-minded at all. - There was Wi-Fi but only in the reception not everywhere as it says on their webpage. - The rooms were not finished when we arrived and we didn’t get them until 16.30 and then it didn’t have enough towels. - I called in advance to ask if I need to bring towels for the pool but the girl in the reception said it was provided, which it wasn’t! - Finally they said that I needed to pay the commission ($96) to booking for using their platform and not book with them directly.
Pros: The rooms
Cons: We were overcharged,we had to complaining
Pros: The rooms are quite spacious
Cons: The TV had only 2 stations to chose from.

Pros: The reception is courteous.
Cons: The facility is only good on Picture; 1. EXTREMELY small rooms, you feel claustrophoic 2. The bed size is Miniature, Was unable to sleep with my infant 3. Matresses very uncomfortable, service below par 4. Menu very wanting and spartan Definetely not worth USD 125 per night. Its a rip off Most fair pricing maybe USD 35 per night
Pros: The locations, food and the rooms were awesome.
Cons: The shower system was faulty thus took a bath using cold water, Kindly check on that.
Pros: Location, layout of hotel
Pros: A destination that truly befits value for and from the customer. The services are at a higher level contrary to what others in the region offer. Will surely come back a many more times

Pros: Extremely friendly customer service. The main reason I will go back. Perfect for star gazing, the food was also very well done and to specifications.
Cons: The facility is overpriced but the customer service compensates for this.
Pros: The set up is one of it's kind in the region. It was an amazing experience. It was highly appreciated and will be going back there soon.

Pros: Beautiful setting with extensive gardens alongside a rocky fast flowing river. Lovely view from the room balcony of Mt Kenya.
Pros: The chef got my dinner order wrong and the walk in the dark after dinner dinner scared my 5 year old son so much he cried all the way to cabin 26!

Pros: The proximity to the main road makes it a nightmare to try and sleep with all the motorbikes and cars making noise the whole night. You should consider sound proof windows
