Beautifully done, boutique style hotel, with good food and helpful staff
Manager Ajay was wonderfully helpful and friendly.Nothing was too much trouble.
Design and breakfast were awesome.
Shower was not enough hot. And, if possible a hair dryer are needed.
A really cute little property in a great location. The room was massive and the bathroom was really modern with everything you need. We even had a little balcony. The view from the roof Terrace is incredible.
It was extremely warm while we were in India however the air con in the room at this property didn’t really feel like it cooled the room down at all. We had the air con and the fan on but the room was still so warm. We asked to have our dinner on the roof terrace to enjoy the view (as we had read others had) but they weren’t keen on us eating up there. It was actually much cooler on the roof terrace so we asked again and they obliged but we felt like we were being difficult. They managed to light one candle to help us see our food but this experience could have been improved.
I like how cosy the hotel is and it is located in a quiet charming neighbourhood. The soap and shampoo they provided smelt sublime. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast spread looked amazing and was delicious. There is no lift in the property but the staff helped lug our big luggage up with no complaints. It is very close to Humayun's Tomb and Isa Khan's Tomb but quite a bit of a distance to downtown.
Wifi is a bit slow. And I am pretty sure they overcharged us for the hired car from Delhi to Jaipur. They said it was a 5 hour++ drive and charged us 9000 rupees but it was far shorter than that. In fact, it was nearly the same duration it took from Jaipur to Agra and we only paid half the price. The driver they set us up with was also terrible; he honks unnecessarily and incessantly and swerves in and out of traffic with absolutely no regard for safety. His driving resulted in a very grumpy group of people at the end of the journey. He also tried asking us to pay extra for toll and mileage and this was never agreed upon hire.
