Good location near the streetcars. New and soft towels .
Unfriendly girl at check in, dirty room, and incredibly loud AC. What they call bathroom should not be rented to anyone and used at all in 21st century! I burned myself several times because it is not possible to fix stabile temperature of the water- if one is brave enough to use a shower there. I will never again stay in an old mansion like this one.
Needs a good cleaning.
Wonderful staff, great home cooked breakfast, and the location was perfect. Just a block from the trolley that takes you to the French Quarter, and this neighborhood is much quieter and very relaxing!
Our stay was really nice. Beatrice was very accommodating and easy to talk to. Breakfasts were great, and the room was quiet. We loved being close to St. Charles Ave for the Mardi Gras parades! Ross also gave us a TON of recommendations - he knows New Orleans like the back of his hand.
The rooms and property could use a little updating. The place was built in the mid-1800s, and it was kind of like stepping back in time. However, a little more investment could really make this place shine.
I like that is tucked away but still close to Downtown and the trolley cars as well as the Garden District. Staff was super friendly and the private gated parking was nice!
The room and bathroom can be updated but it’s in great shape being built in the 1800’s.
