The staff were all very efficient and really friendly
I thought the room was a little tatty and tired.
I was asked to leave my debit card details in case I used any facilities to which I replied I would not be using. they told me it was policy anyway and had to leave them. on departure they told mr there was nothing to pay and I left. 2 days later I checked my bank details and noticed they had debited £1.50 off my card. I was never told about this and I will be contacting them for an explanation. I paid for my room by cash so it wasn't a booking fee.
reception staff freindly & only to willing to help (thanks girls)-& the bed was very spacious,& a comfortable matress !-
only real let down was the poor poor quality of the shower,i've stayed in the odd flea pit around the world-but even they have had better shower facilities !!
hotel position, clean and comfortable, staff very helpful and polite.
Looked nice from the outside and reception area was nice. Breakfast was good.
Room was quite cold and the decor was a bit tired.
Overall friendliness of all staff, very good food and the convenience of late afternoon meals. There was a late bar service for residents.Great location ,would recommend
Two senior male waiters at breakfast could be much friendlier, and approachable.
staff always friendly and helpful
cheap, clean, friendly staff
restaurant gloomily lit, restricted mostly to pseudo-italian food
I've stayed here a number of times but not for a while but it still is a good lively hotel.
I first stayed here when it was first refurbished but the rooms and some public areas are now showing signs of neglect with thread bare carpets and damaged paintwork. The restaurant seemed too keen to get me fed and get out so I wouldn't go there for a romantic evening, saying that the staff were very pleasant and friendly.
I worried that the hotel may be noisy having stayed there 3 years ago and got no sleep, however myself and the other guests in our party had a wonderful stay and would reccomend this hotel to anyone.
