Pros: The most beautiful and charming house. Breath taking view, great breakfast. Our hosts were extremely friendly and service minded. A spectacular place to stay, and we really will love to come back.
Cons: Everything was perfect.
Pros: Was not a hotel nor a spa but rather a chambre d'hote. But really liked the place. Privately served breakfast in the garden
Pros: Everything at this site is brilliant. Marcelle and Sylvania are very very good hosts. I would recommend them to anyone for their hospitality.
Pros: Breakfast was marvelous. Very friendly and interesting hosts.
Pros: It was located very convenient to Colmar and the numerous wine villages. The owners were very friendly and helpful. They speak English, German and French. Beautiful house, very clean and in a very quiet location. Highly recommend.
Pros: The owners were extremely kind and available to give suggestions.
Pros: We had a wonderful stay and wish we could have stayed a little longer. The area is gorgeous and the house is beautiful. Breakfast was lovely. Thank you Sylvain and Marcelle for your hospitality.
Pros: The hosts are perfect from every point of view: helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, available, and multilingual. They went out of their way to help us out when we were carless for 2 days. The location in the woods is picturesque, with a beautiful view over the mountains. The gite (not a hotel or spa) is beautiful and comfortable. Beautiful Alsace villages. Plenty of wine tasting and good restaurants in nearby Niedermorschwihr and Turckheim. The whole region is full of beautiful villages that deserve visiting, in addition to food, wine, history, and architecture.
Cons: No public transportation.
With a stay at Auberge du Brand in Turckheim, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Little Venice and Andre Stentz Winery. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access and complimentary newspapers in the lobby.
Pros: Very friendly welcome. Helpful staff. Superb food and ambience in the restaurant. Inventive and flavoursome menu
Pros: This hotel was a great surprise! We enjoyed the location. So ideal for exploring the Alsace Wine route. Our room was comfortable and quiet and the restaurant was excellent for both breakfast and dinner.
Pros: Thé staff was really nice and customer oriented
Pros: Friendly staff, good restaurant downstairs and the bathroom was large and very nice!
Cons: The place is a bit small inside but well.. I guess charming would be a more appropriate word :)
With a stay at Hotel Des Deux Clefs in Turckheim, you'll be in the historical district, within a 10-minute drive of Little Venice and Andre Stentz Winery. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Gorgeous old building with quirky decor. Everything was spotless and the staff were charming. Heavenly breakfast with the best croissants ever.
Cons: There is only coffee in the bedrooms, some of us like tea!
Pros: Hotel is located on the main square and the building is beautiful! Stuff was very friendly and the lobby has a lot of character
Pros: We Love this hotel - it was our second stay here - it is full of character with wonderful furniture and paintings everywhere - influenced by the Far East - warm colours are the order of the day here! that 's one of the reasons we love the place! - no stainless steel and corporate grey here!! The breakfast is wonderful but you do have to pay extra for it but it is well worth it. - all wrapped-up in a wonderful timber framed buiding right in the middle of Turkheim - it doesn't get any better than this!! Also, there is free parking just opposite the hotel - so convenient.
Cons: Nothing - this place is an absolute Gem!!
Pros: Nice old house and good location. Free of charge parking.
Cons: Room was quite humid. Bath room (shower) without any separation. Room No. 27
Pros: It’s a very old style hotel very Cousy and felt Quite comfortable with exception of some basic things which if improved would make it a pleasant stay.
Cons: The bathtub is missing a curtain and a hook to have water fixed on top of your water. Instead you make everything wet. I believe this is very French style which is a pity because the customers are all international. We stayed with some friends in 3 rooms in total. It was the same in all rooms. The curtains of the room facing to the front are not blocking the sun so you wake up with a lot of son in your eyes, very uncomfortable. The breakfast was quite poor, no Diversity of pastries.
Pros: We had an attic room that was charming. Clean and efficient with a great shower, comfortable bed and wonderful view out our window over town.
Cons: The decoration was international and eclectic representing the owners taste and travels in Africa and Asia, so not typical Alsatian style at all. As a visitor I would have preferred a more local style, but it was all nicely done.
Pros: Staff and location excellent. Plenty of old world charm. Needs to move with the times.
Cons: Bathroom dreadful. Bedrooms need modernisation. No fridge, no room safe.
Pros: Beautiful area.
Cons: Difficult to find anything I did not like.

Pros: Since two stars hotel I found it satisfied. Breakfast is good.
Pros: Location, just 50 meters from the train station and in the old town. Nice and cosy. Very friendly hostess. Tasty breakfast.
Cons: Outside our window we had a house under constuction.
Pros: The location is great. The bed was comfortable.
Cons: The room and bathroom could use some refurbishment and maintenance.
Pros: Room clean but not modern . The price was really good for what it was .one night is the maximum to stay .
Cons: Room old and not refurbished
Located in Niedermorschwihr, L'Alexain Hôtel Restaurant & Wellness is on the boardwalk, within a 15-minute drive of Jean Baptiste Adam and Ammerschwihr Golf Club. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, express check-in, and express check-out. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: We had a okay big room. Nice view. Really good and nice spa.
Cons: The breakfast was not something special, only a few things to choose. The terrace at the spa was really small, only 4 sunbeds. There was not any ventilation at the bathroom.
Pros: Nice food
Pros: Lovely Man on Reception - most helpful, made us reservation at a lovely intimate Restaurant deep in the Forrest/mountains - wonderful food. Beautiful view from our balcony. Stylish swimming pool. Also Spa looked amazing. We only used pool though
Pros: The location is absolutely stunning, the roads to get there are fantastic. The receptionist Saad was really helpful and couldn't do enough for us.
Cons: The wellness spa closed earlier than expected which meant we couldn't benefit from the facilities. The evening menu was very limited with only one option available. The gravel driveway was a bit thick in places for our bikes, so if motorcycling, just be careful and park in the lower car park to unload
Pros: Excellent breakfast in the very chic restaurant - cold cuts, scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, as well as cereal, juice, yogurts and, of course, a wide selection of mini patisseries. Great location for walking, and eminently dog friendly, even to the extent that small dogs are welcome in the restaurant as long as they are well behaved (of course!) Rooms are well-appointed, reasonably spacious for the price point, and while not the most modern, are extremely comfortable, well maintained, and the walk-in shower was a real treat. The kids loved the pool, and there's even some decking outside if you want to soak up the rays. The staff are friendly and efficient, and the check in and out process is both relaxed and smooth. All in all, a very enjoyable stay, and we left wishing we could stay just one more night!
Cons: The set menu doesn't advertise any vegetarian options, which is a shame, as the menu itself is quite appealing. At peak season the car park gets a little cramped and doesn't have discrete 'spaces' so is a bit of a free for all.
Pros: Good breakfast panoramic chambre vieuw. The staff was very friendly Good Parking Nice area
Cons: We asked for 2 beds, but we got 1 bed...
Pros: The view is very nice. Large sliding glass doors in the rooms.
Cons: Hotel could definitely use an update. The halls smell of old carpet. The decor is outdated and an odd choice. Water goes everywhere in the shower. The pool and spa area smells so strongly of chlorine we couldn't stay more than a 2 minutes. Spa photos are misleading.
Pros: View from balcony. Good walks + 2mins from village.
Cons: Booked mainly for pool, but it's much smaller than appears in pics. Crowded with 6 guests.
