Do not like to book a non-smoking room But got a smoking room instead because I was allergic to cigarettes, stayed for 1 night, almost bad. So I would like the booking.com to help the hotel to participate in this matter.
The location was a short walk from the train station. The onsen was lovely and the amenities in there were good. Breakfast was okay; but dinner was great with plenty of seating and food choices ( with all drinks/ refills included).
It's an older style hotel that's a mix of traditional Japanese styling meets 70's floral decor. Everything worked fine and was overall comfortable. Building was a little pokey -I was given a map to find my room! Also I would have liked to have some basic amenities in the room like a pen and moisturizer especially for the price you pay. There was no spare power points and no wifi in the rooms (only the lobby). It also could do with a good dust and renovation/update.
Wifi only in lobby! Room so far away. 3 persons room so small. Sigh. Charged so highly.
The place is very old so don’t expect much. Yes, furniture was old, chairs had holes in them, room smelled like cigarettes, but that didn’t bother me. Place is old and cheap, but they care about their guests. There is everything you might need in the room, they give u yukata, offer breakfast, towels and etc. Room was pretty big and very cozy, I enjoyed my stay! They have very good onsen, one indoors and one outdoors. In the changing room there are all kind of creams, even a bb cream which was fantastic!! You can also relax and have a feet massage there. There is also place where u can play arcade games, billiards, table tennis and karaoke! Staff was very helpful and super kind! I will definitely use this place again!
One minus is that wifi is available only in the lobby.
The hot springs were so good!! I went before going to bed and just after I woke up. The employees were kind and helpful.
I chose the cheapest option, since I was traveling alone. The room I got was in an old building next to the main one and I had to walk outside to my building. I didn't feel save there, because there was no staff there at all and only just a few other costumers maybe (didn't see anyone). The hotel and onsen are very beautiful, but I would advise to take a room in the main building for sure!!! If you do want to have a spooky adventure you should definitely go for the cheap room ;)
