The staff was helpful and friendly, the rooms were neat, clean and tidy and the overall atmosphere was open and inviting. I especially liked the wide hallways and many windows. The large entryway, the arrangement of the comfortable chairs and the position of the breakfast room was excellent. I liked having the food service area distinct from the eating area. The small kitchen was very well arranged. There was a dishwasher, a thoughtful and helpful addition. The yogourt we had for breakfast had a use-by date of late March. We were there the first weekend of May. Finding the elevators was difficult on the second and third floors where our rooms were. It would be helpful to have a sign on the wall across from elevators. A sign that could be seen from the long hallways.
Great price and nice staff. The option was to stay with family and be a inconvenience or stay in a cheap motel and spend money and get privacy and free breakfast. I don't regret my decision. Stayed for 4 nights and had a good stay Cigarette smell even in non smoking room. Burn mark in the "clean sheet". Small towels in the shower
The room appeared clean however both the shampoo and conditioner appeared used which makes me concerned that it wasn't actually clean, just appeared to be clean.
Clean... easily accessible to I 80 all highways... shopping and cinema close ..... quiet .... family and pet friendly Pool so cloudy would not go in ... bfst was cold oatmeal and coffee ... no microwave to reheat ... but area clean and monitored
We like how nice the staff was and helpful I did not like that we book on Expedia was so expensive 126 dollars and to book strait from the hotel was only 91 dollars and that was with taxes
The lay out of the room. The staff did appear to be working hard although there was not enough to meet guest requests. Synthetic pillows were in the room. The furniture and carpets were dirty and worn. Bring slippers! The breakfast was not enjoyable/nutritious and cleaned up early. The phone was not answered the several times we called ahead of our arrival. The pullout couch is not comfortable. Unable to get onto the Internet.
The Staff was congenial and accommodating. We particularly appreciated that our two therapy dogs were welcome, not just accepted. Big difference. There was an abundance of local restaurants to choose from, and as we had gotten in late, that was a blessing.
The room was very clean; the bed was very comfortable. Hotel was quiet, and my 3-year-old son and I had a good stay overall. The only complaint that I could have was the breakfast. The food wasn't that great; the waffle iron didn't cook the waffle properly (outsides were cooked, inside was uncooked and fell apart). There was only one poor girl working. She was doing her best, but there were just too many people for only one staff member, so there weren't any plates/silverware/cups for a little while. My son and I were fed, however, and I wouldn't let the average breakfast deter us from staying here again.
The staff was friendly Trying to put lipstick on a pig. Hotel is run down: carpeting, furniture, curtains. Silverware was dirty and also the chrome in the elevators was filthy. Definitely needs an upgrade. The fire alarm went off in the entire building and everyone had to leave their rooms in their pjs.
Breakfast was good, especially for kids The carpeting in the room needs replacement. Multiple cigarette burns (in a non-smoking room) as well as overall tired and gross looks of the carpet especially compared to the hall carpet.
It was quaint, comfortable, friendly, adorable, and a great space for the price! The only one down side was that my nonsmoking room smelled like cigarette smoke, but that was likely because my window was over the front entrance, where people smoked outside.
We got there at 5:30pm and the room wasn't ready. The lobby furniture was dingy with large visible stains. They placed me in a different room and the floor wasn't vacuumed, trash on floor, bathroom was dirty. I was put in a different room and the floor wasn't vacuumed and there were boogers on the wall. they were short staffed but it's still completely unacceptable for the price you pay. I cancelled and got my $ back
The only disappointment was that they offered sausage biscuits and gravy (my all time least favorite breakfast food) instead o just scrambled eggs and bacon.
Easy access to/from highway. Room with 2 queen beds was large enough for my family of 4. Property was showing its age but not a show stopper if a short stay.
We were on the end of a long road trip when we found the location on-line. Didn't expect, or realize it was a country club. We felt a little under dressed, as we had spent the week before visiting national sites in Virginia and DC, and had packed for the very hot weather. However, the staff made us feel comfortable and the resort was very nice. About the only negative is that there is limited off-site dining. As mentioned before, we were not prepared for more upscale dining and all there is was an on-site bar with prices to match a country club, a high end chop house (again as expected for a country club) and then a small local bar. We did opt for the dress friendly bar, which was actually more friendly than the on-site facility. With a 10 year old child, the offerings at the "nicer" restaurants simply weren't the ideal for him, as well.
Golf resort with amazing pool and gym. Huge gym! Beds are luxury. Direct TV in the rooms. Breakfast was just like every free hotel breakfast but it was hot and fresh No complaints. It was a cheap price when we booked it. I guess if it was more expensive I wouldn't be as happy. There isn't a elevator FYI so if they give you a 2nd or 3rd floor room don't take the cart.
Nice, clean room. Huge bed, decent tv, several power outlets, nice staff, great price
could not beat the price...room was very clean and quiet The hall REEKED of skunkweed ( a very bad, cheap marijuana) so much for the non smoking policy, but fortunately it did not smell in my room...
Our room was very clean, rooms looked updated and the staff was friendly. We had no problem of any kind, we where very content with our stay.
The desk clerks were friendly with good sense of humor, quick registration and check out, clean and quiet room . Thanks for a good stay. There was a small horizontal line through the middle of the television screen. It didn't bother us too much. Also the ice machine on our floor was out of order.
The location is amazing. EVerything is cheap. The furnishings, the building, the staff. Everything just feels old and cheap. Of course you pay less to stay there so that's where it comes from.
The rooms were spacious and comfortable. A very quiet setting. There was no continental breakfast, however there was free coffee.
Clean, basic room with shower/bath, TV, and a comfortable bed, which is all I needed for an overnight stay. Low rate is partly due to the stripped down nature of the accommodation - no radio, coffee maker, refrig, hairdryer, or ironing board in the room. Complimentary coffee/tea was available in the lobby. The $1.50 charge for use of the safe in the room, which would be subtracted from the bill, if you told them at time of check out that you had not used the safe. Seemed to be a rather strange practice.
Excellent breakfast, very helpful staff Booked early for best price; ended up paying $30. more per night then guests who "dropped in" for a night
It was very clean, quiet in our room, and staff were friendly. They didn't have any rollaway beds.
Close to where I wanted to go, clean, spacious and friendly.
Room was beautiful. Love the fridge , microwave, Keurig. Comfy bed. Location perfect for our needs. Was originally charged too much. They said they were not connected with the site I used? They took care of it though. Pool and hot tub very small. Breakfast stopped too early.
Very clean- wonderful, helpful and friendly staff- nice toiletries Nothing not to like
the staff was excellent and very attentive.
Mattress was a bit uncomfortable but otherwise everything was wonderful
access to freeway & restaurants didn't get credit for Hilton Honors points. Very upsetting as I'd enrolled in the 2X points program for the first time only to learn too late that I needed to book VIA Hilton & not via a 3rd party. This was one of 4 stays in less than a month in 3 different states.
Nice hotel, clean and obviously new. No alcohol in the "bar" despite the advertisement in the elevator suggesting that you have cocktails at the bar. Yes - I know you will get your liquor license in a few months.
No free breakfast most hotels offer breakfast
