Pros: The breakfast was very good plenty of choice and pleasant staff, and the location was brilliant as not far from the shops and very close to motor arena for the lets rock concert that we came to see, so all in all we had a brilliant time.
Cons: The washing of hands in the bathroom the soap very small container could do with being a bigger pump dispenser, and got too warm in the room other than those couple of things our stay was enjoyable.

Pros: Great location, close to Motorpoint, car parks, restaurants & shopping. Great room, comfy bed, good shower. Helpful staff, delicious breakfast served in a beautiful room.
Cons: Towel heater in bathroom didn’t work. Too many minibar products on dressing table - not needed, sales pitch.

Pros: The staff very friendly. Bed comfortable.
Cons: Nothing really
5.4 Okay
Pros: The beds are comfy and the breakfast menu is nice.
Cons: The towel rads are all turned off in the bathrooms, meaning they are freezing cold. We arrived on 1st Dec, when the temp dipped below freezing. I wanted a both but the bathroom was too cold to get in the bath! The night staff couldn’t really give me an answer as to why this was. This wasn’t the fault of the staff, but we were kept awake by some noisy guests above us. I wouldn’t stay again.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location. And the trouble the staff went when we first arrived. Breakfast excellent, only had continental!
Cons: Waiting to serve tea or coffee at breakfast. For some reason poured straight, away before finishing cereal. Surround around basin in bathroom needs attention, the rest terrific, especially the shower!

Pros: The breakfast was excellent and the breakfast staff were lovely. And very busy!
Cons: The trip was for my husbands birthday weekend. We were a party of 2 couples. I messaged ahead asking for the best room available. We were told check in time was 2pm. We arrived at 1.55pm and was told our room wasnt ready as it was still being cleaned. I asked how long it would be and the receptionist didn't know but said its only 5 to ?? We were advised to have a drink in the bar. Our friends room however was ready. We went to get a drink there was no one at the bar. When someone eventually arrived we asked for Blueberry Gin & Tonic. The bottle was there with a half measure in it and the member of staff went to find some more. She was gone ages and when she came back confirmed there wasn't any. We opted for another gin which was served in a plain water glass :-( She apologised saying she didn't work the bar but no one else was around. When we finally got our room it was no different to anyone elses.

Cons: Unfortunatley our second night was ruined by fire alarms going on and off from 4am for around 2 hours at random interviews (we think someone must of set them off in their room smoking?), no memebers of staff seemed to come to turn off the alarm or check in.

Pros: Beds were comfy, the location was good and close to the shopping area. Reception was efficient and the bar was relaxing and comfortable. Bar prices were reasonable.
Cons: Bathroom in room 610 was very tired and the shower control was almost broken. Breakfast was a buffet but due to short staffing, a number of food items were not available for replenishment. No plates, I had to wait over 5 minutes for plates to appear. The staff had their heads down and no real service. Disappointed with this as we were looking forward to a good breakfast.

Pros: Good location Room smelt of sick on carpet Should not use that room
Cons: Smelly Not enough staff So poor service at bfast Lack of choice of eggs as chef too busy doing room service !

Pros:
Cons: Heating has no control. Same for toiletries. In a time when we talk about taking care of the environment, the environmental consciousness should be a must for a 4-star hotel.

Pros:
Cons: Personally I would say more choices in tea and a non lumpy bed

Pros: Offered the opportunity to pay for an upgrade with the hotel direct, which we did. However we originally asked for a walk in shower, and with the upgrade to an executive sweet not only no walk in shower, but the room and en suite was not appointed or decorated very well. We did like the desk to sit at as it gave enough space for both of us to use for work, and the bed was comfortable, but adding the number of stairs to get to the room after using the lift to the first floor, it was disappointing. Evening meal was good, with attentive service, although the restaurant felt cold and we looked to be the only customers at the time, around 7pm. Breakfast was busier but still good with a selection of fruit, cereal, pastries, hot buffet with choice of how you like your eggs.

Cons: The breakfast room felt a little cramped. Parking was interesting but the staff do everything they can to find you a space.

Pros: breakfast was superb /location was excellent
Cons: the evening bar staff were useless. It took him 4 tries to pour a shandy ..he never had a clue he had a head the length of the glass & kept pouring it down the sink. In the end I settled for the best of a load of rubbish . There were no appropriate glasses available for soft drinks (only one & it had already been used for a diet pepsi). The toilet seat in room 204 would not stay up because it was badly fitted.

Pros:
Cons: Entrance to parking not easy to access when road is busy took us 3 goes

Cons: When we arrived we did not know where to park as it was not clear the Hotel extended across the whole building frontage and has some parking at the rear; to get to the rear parking you had to drive in to the middle opening and go between the buildings which gives the impression of not belonging to the Hotel. This is an extended building and offers interesting corridors and steps up and down to get to your rooms, but due to its age the floor boards and steps creek considerably.

Pros: Great facilities. Nice hot water love having a lovely hot shower. Hot chocolate is a nice touch
Cons: The cold tap was hard to switch on. The room was very hot and we woke up early as a result of this

Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful
Cons: Breakfast whilst there was plenty of it, it was not hot but still tasty.

Pros: Bed comfortable. Shower good. Evening meal tasty.
Cons: We were not able to get into our room until about 5 30 we felt it had been forgotten and could have been cleaner once in there. While waiting we went to order a Procescco at the bar there was none in the bar they had to go and get one and had to wait a while when returning with it the girl serving did not know how to open it. We had booked a table in the restaurant for 8 00 but when we came down no booking had been made. This finally got sorted after some confusion. While waiting for our table I ordered a glass of Pinot Grigio this again I had to wait for as they neded to get a fresh bottle. The evening meal was tasty though. Also they cleared the hot food at breakfast early and wasn't told we could order fresh?

Pros: Staff were amazing. Breakfast was superb
Cons: The bed had a huge dip in the centre and the springs were ruined. There wasn’t a hair dryer in the room. I was woken in the night as two other guests were having a fight and slamming doors

Pros: Location.
Cons: Horrendous price when we could have paid half on booking.com; small compact room, hardly any space to move about in the room. Very hard to find. We had to park in the shopping centre Victoria and then find our way to the hotel. Will definitely ask my friends to stay away from this hotel when £130 could buy so much more elsewhere in Nottingham.

Pros: The desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room was mostly fine. The bed was comfortable. The Full English breakfast was pretty functional but not expensive. Cons: Finding street parking was not easy. The thermostat was partly broken, so difficult to regulate. Both curtain rails were partly broken, so crooked. There was some rubbish in the hallway. It took us a while to realise that room 408 was on the 3rd floor.

Pros: The rooms are designed well
Cons: Tv has no signal n the internet feature was broke so no free view tv that worked all night and no netflix the tv was frozen all cause no signal... no wifi... 2 out of the 4 lights in the was broken... couldnt even see in the bathroom cause broken light. Constant running water sound from the room above me from 8pm till 12pm when i left as i couldnt bare how awful the night was having to watch movies on my iphone on 4g with a constant sound of water in the cold as the heating system does absolutely nothing. I turned it up to max as it was freezing seen as its december was still zero warmth in the room after the 4hrs of me being in there... walls are very thin hearing ppl talk n open and close doors the whole time and when i took out my airpods to get ready after deciding how bad a night it was i could hear a whole phonecall from the woman in the next room could even hear the other woman talking on the phone and wasnt too pleased to hear an evidently white woman calling her man a ‘black bastard’ because they had broke up considering im also black... all in all was an awful night and dont recommend i only paid 50 as i just wanted a quick place to stay after work away for the day as an electrician and end up going to stay at a friends instead... however on say a saturday night its priced over 100 whereas i wouldnt wanna stay here again for anything over 25quid...

Cons: Way overpriced. Parking an absolute nightmare. Area rough. Room was freezing. Dirty, grubby. Fixtures and fitting sub standard. No complimentary shower gels, soaps, etc. Everything just felt grubby. Bed was tiny. Not worth the £63 at all! Wouldn't of paid more than £30 for it. Would not stay again for love nor money

Across the road from our room was a lovely park with a pond and we woke up to the sound of birds singing! Fantastic! The staff were very welcoming and pleasent and spoke with us about our journey. The breakfast in the morning couldn't have been better! It was just what we needed after a night out the day before. As for the room itself, it was beautifully decorated with everything looking brand new with an ensuite bathroom and toilet. Flat screen TV with many channels. The bed was so comfortable to sleep in! Wish we could have stayed longer!! And the price you pay for the kind of rooms you get is superb!!! Such a pleasent stay we know for sure we will stay longer next time we are up!

7.5 Good
Pros: Price was affordable for the amazing location - in the heart of the city and not that far from the train station.
Cons: No free WiFi available in the room - you have to pay for it. Not sure if you can book a room that it includes WiFi access. To be fair, it's not a big deal nowadays if you have a decent data allowance on your phone and it was possibly the reason why the room was that cheap (around 35 pound a night) It clearly depends on how long you're going to stay for and why... Not a big of a deal in my case as I only stayed one night
7.1 Good
Pros: Great location. Room and bathroom (with bath) was clean. Good facilities in room, hairdryer, mini fridge, TV.
Cons: Not as modern as we were expecting. Quite small and uncomfortable bed.
4.0 Okay
Pros: the location the tea facility offered by the hotel
Cons: the price we had to pay was much higher than the one quoted when I did the booking no heating facility in the room - there was a heater, but it took very long to warm up the room the receptionists need to be trained in front office techniques - a receptionist is not supposed to call clients 'darling' !!! the hotel needs some refurbishment
5.0 Okay
Pros: Good location and the bed was comfortable.
Cons: It's a tired hotel. It's obvious where they are cost cutting. The breakfast wasn't great. I thought wifi was available in the room but it's only available in the lobby and you must pay for it. The parking isn't included and while I knew that, the cost park in the NCP was a lot higher than it should be. I'd suggest staying at a different hotel if you're driving.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The location . Hotel was warm .
Cons: Staff front desk ignored customers carried on talking amongst themselves. My room supposed to be an upgrade -a very small double with view directly onto carpark (4th Floor). Stayed 2 nights Wed-Fri room not made up on Thursday even though card left on door to request this. When we returned neither myself or my friends could access our rooms without reset of key at reception -no apologies given. Had breakfast out but used restaurant for dinner both nights - First night good value but second night dreadful- dry fish, soup clearly had had previous days added to it very very poor. On top of this fire alarm sounded at 3am apparently a mistake but once again no apologies. I know not expensive but felt I was in a bit of a rough dive for a city centre hotel and very disappointed.

Pros: There are lots of awful reviews for this hotel BUT it’s less than £40 a night for a great location and somewhere to rest your head. People love a moan but let’s be honest it’s not much more than the price of a round of drinks. I arrived way too early to check in yet the member of staff managed to get me a room ready to go and upgraded me. Parking is secure and you’d probably pay that to park a mile down the road overnight. If you’re on a big night out and basic is all you need then it’s a winner. Would I take the mrs there on a romantic break ? Only if I wanted to be single but it is what it is.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Arrived told we hadn't booked, and there wasn't a payment taken (there was). Told "suppose I'll have to find you a room" then "I'll only charge you for the double room" ?????? Then we had to pay again for the room - didn't take proof with me (didn't think I would need to, never have before!!) Got the family room - double bed, single bed and a small low table with a fan heater and a kettle. It was FREEZING, fan heater useless, so glad it was only for one night and if we had arrived earlier, I'd have gone elsewhere, to top it all no towels. In hindsight, we would have been better off sleeping in the car and saving the £33 we were robbed of, (heard staff telling someone on the phone "the owner is in Dubai but when he returns, your refund will be the highest priority")
