When you stay at Alte Post Neuses in Prichsenstadt, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Mauritiuskirche Wiesentheid and Baumwipfelpfad Steigerwald. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Neuses am Sand is a tiny village not far off the Würzburg - Nuremberg autobahn, and we stayed one night on our way from The Netherlands to Italy, and another on our return. The roads between autobahn and village are good, and our GPS had no problems navigating us there. On arrival, we had to telephone a number on the door to announce our arrival, and we were then given the code to access a box containing room keys. Although the guest house is at the junction of the main roads coming into the village, traffic at night is very sparse, so we weren't disturbed by road-noise. We had a family room with double bed and sofa-bed, which wasn't exactly luxurious, but it was spacious, clean and at a comfortable temperature. Although the television was mainly German channels, the WiFi was fast, and logging in was simple, without the need for a password. Breakfast was the standard assortment of rolls, sliced meat and cheese, and a selection of yogurts and breakfast cereals. The staff were friendly and spoke both German and good English. There's nothing in the village in terms of eating or entertainment, apart from a rather upmarket-looking stately-home hotel around the back of the guest house, but we didn't try the restaurant. Another point to bear in mind is that we were told that the current management of the guest house will end at the close of 2019, so things may change after that.
Cons: No complaints; the room was perfectly adequate for an overnight stop.

Cons: Nothing! We’ve rebooked.
