Opt for a Room with a View
While the ocean view is nice, the hotel's location at the edge of the city means it may not offer the typical white Oia city view. Consider booking a room with a terrace for a more enjoyable experience.
Consider Room Selection Carefully
If you have mobility concerns, be mindful that some rooms require navigating around 250 steps. Request a room closer to the main facilities if this is a concern.
Enjoy the Sunset Without the Crowds
The hotel provides a perfect vantage point for viewing the famous Santorini sunsets without having to jostle with crowds. Consider booking a room with a balcony for a more private experience.
Be Prepared for Stairs
The hotel is situated on a cliff, so be ready to navigate pebble stone stairs to reach the property. However, the breathtaking views make it worth the effort.
Take Advantage of the Outdoor Bathtub
If you book a room with an outdoor bathtub, make the most of it. Relax with a drink and enjoy the splendid views, especially during sunset.
Consider the Location for Privacy
Room 9 is recommended for those seeking more privacy. If privacy is important to you, inquire about this room when making a reservation.
Be Mindful of the Steps
The hotel's location within the caldera requires walking, so be prepared for this aspect when planning your stay.
Clarify Room Types
If you have specific room preferences, ensure you understand the differences between room types, such as cave rooms and cave pool suites, to avoid any surprises upon arrival.
Check Air Conditioning
If you're sensitive to room temperature, be aware that some guests found the air conditioning in certain rooms to be less effective. Consider this when making your room selection.
Enjoy Breakfast with a View
Take advantage of the hotel's breakfast service, which includes delivery to your room with wide and beautiful views.
