Pros. The hot water working was probably the best
Cons. Everything
Pros. Comfortable bed, location.
Cons. Super slow internet, old furniture, stuck door, small towels and we found a small cockroach in the bathroom.
Pros. The hotel is good situated
Cons. The room was like is has been empty for a while or not in use, there was a phone but no line I have stay there in the past and the room was good
Pros. I really loved the location! It is the absolute best! I have to say that even when I was skeptical, scared actually, because of all the horrifying reviews, I was gladly surprised with a very nice room, a spotless clean bathroom, and very fresh towels. As a person who has stayed in all types of hotels, this wasn't bad at all. But again, I wasn't going to sleep in or stay there all day or leave later because I wanted to be early for each park (which is highly recommended). The shuttle worked as a charm for the Disney and Sea World parks, because it leaves early if you, again, want to be there early before the parks open. If not, it's not convenient at all. I used it on the way to Disney and then hired someone to pick me up on the way back (otherwise you'll miss the fireworks/night shows). It's a matter of playing with it, being a complementary service I have absolutely no complains. Use something else if you want to go to the parks later, or at different times. For universal, the service is too late, just a heads up on that. Have a little budget for transportation. Don't believe those bad reviews, this place has everything you need when you spend the whole day out, it has restaurants all over, and a very convenient grocery store around the corner for whatever you need. They seem to be repairing all rooms little by little or at least that's what I saw, so good for them! Breakfast was OK. Get it early. The pool area is cute, seemed clean, never really used it. I saw one roach, no big deal. But they should take care of that because when there's one... Check in and check out was very quick and easy.
Cons. I think the Breakfast can be improved, I don't think adding some fruit or eggs can increase their costs. I was OK with the breakfast, but it can be better. The breakfast room can be a little nicer, even when the lady who organizes it was very nice and polite (contrary to some bad things people said on reviews). The carpet of my room did smell somewhat funny and maybe because of the color, I wasn't very comfortable stepping on it on my bare feet. Maybe it was just my impression. It didn't seem dirty though. When it comes to cleanliness, it was clean overall, but they need to work on their smells, I'm pretty sure some maintenance on the carpets can help considerably. Being a low cost hotel, you will see some strange people and interesting characters, but I didn't feel in danger or at risk at any time. No need to worry. I also don't believe this is a hotel for small children or babies. WiFi can be better also, the speed varied during my days there, but it works if you want to keep in touch with your loved ones, for faster things/connection, go to the lobby, but it shouldn't be like that.
Pros. I appreciated the friendly customer service. They let us store our bags after check out while we had a few hours to explore. The actual room was clean and comfortable. It was a great place to stay when you are planning on adventuring around the area.
Cons. I did not like that the room keys only ever seemed to work one time. The bathroom was leaking and a mess. The tub took forever to drain which is a bummer when multiple people wanted to shower before leaving. We made it work but at least there was hot water.
Pros. Good area, easy to find and to get to. Beds are of nice size, and there is a dorm room sized fridge in the room that does work well. And it was nice and quiet in the rooms.
Cons. The most annoying part is the bad wi-fi most of the time I couldn't watch youtube and sites would be very slow to load, plus I only got one or two bars at best in my room. I also did do their "speed boost" thing and then I could sometimes get it so I could let YouTube buffer for a bit then watch something but it was still a pain. Parking was a nightmare if arriving late in the day. My room view was only of another wall a few feet away from the window, but I can give it a pass on that as didn't pick this place for the view and it did bring in plenty of natural light during the day. Also bar/restaurant thing in the middle always looked closed, the free breakfast ended way to early, also had to walk outside through the courtyard not even any overhang and eat outside. Which was fine on dry warm days. but when it's a cold morning or especially if it's raining it makes it hard to get the breakfast.
Cons. The keys didn't work, despite three re-keyings by the front desk. And, the locked gate near the back didn't work, so we could not get to our room right next to that gate and had to walk all the way around to the front, and then go back to open it from the inside and prop it open. But someone removed the prop, so it remained locked. The front desk was aware of this lock not working, but had no solutions for us and didn't mention it when they first suggested we go park there and use the gate to get to our room. The breakfast in the courtyard required walking outside to get to it, so we got wet in the rain.
Pros. The one thing that I appreciated about the hotel was the location. Is 5 min away from Universal Orlando.
Cons. We had to keep unplugging the toilet because it wouldn't feel out again once you flushed. The bathtub was not completely clean. We stayed for two nights and the bed was only half done when we came back on our second day. You either do it or don't.
Pros. Loved the price and location. Walking distance to everything. Free shuttles to parks.
Cons. No shuttle to airport. Cab cost almost $50.
Cons. Odol. A/C.
