8.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was nice but again little poor in varaity of food.
Cons: I didnt like to much the beds they were little hard.
5.8 Okay
Cons: I could have gotten a nicer room for the price in Honolulu Hawaii. The bed was hard as a rock, furniture a bit shabby and the shower/tub difficult to get in and out of ... it met our needs for the night. We paid $180 US for one night... Carnivale was over. We tried to request a less expensive room but were told that wasn’t possible. I still had time to cancel but didn’t as we were tired.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location, view from the room and the friendly staff
Cons: Dated for a 5 star hotel, shortage of electrical sockets in the room and the breakfast could certainly be improved
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: It is the only place to stay in Oruro
Cons: Old, it is a maze, nasty food

9.2 Excellent
Pros: One of the desk girls spoke fluent English. She was incredibly helpful with advise in traveling in Bolivia. I couldn't have survived without it. They also did laundry here and that was very important to a long-term traveler. You could tell they tried to cater to the foreign traveler. The place was nice and clean. But, a little old and worn. The in-house store was extremely convenient. The breakfast was great.
Cons: It was a bit cold and the in-house heating didn't work. Finally they gave up at trying to fix it and provided an electric heater. The elevator was a bit slow, so I used the stairs most of the time. However, they did have an elevator and that was better than most.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff. Felt secure staying there. Steam room was a bonus!
6.7 Good
Pros: Excellent location. Room fair although we could hear the external water tank most of the night
Cons: Once you check out to use the toilet facilities you need to pay however cleanness can be improved!
7.1 Good
Pros: very very helpful and good English speaking girl at reception, public parking at square opposite to the hotel
Cons: smoking room = smell a lot of, and the cleanest was not at high level, otherwise Oruro doesnt look like good destination for tourist = we have been there like one night stay.
5.4 Okay
Cons: To expensive for the type of facility
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Edith the host was exceptional: informed caring committed to our experience. Perfect location access and vibe!

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, nice breakfast. Excellent location.
Cons: The shower was located above the toilet. The facility was a little too small
4.6 Okay
Cons: Dirty, messy, loud
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice and helpful staff.
7.9 Good
Pros: staff were very attentive, location of the hostal is good and there is a very good Mexican cafe next door.
Cons: wifi was intermittent, breakfast was good on my first day but was not so good on the subsequent days.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Location is good as it is near the train station. The Mexican restaurant next door is also good.
Cons: The bed and pillow were very uncomfortable, the room and the bathroom were run down and in need of attention. The hanger to hang a towel in the bathroom had fallen off some time ago and not been replaced. The wiring for the fan had fallen away from the ceiling and there was exposed wiring hanging just above the shower, which seemed extremely dangerous to us. The paint was peeling off the wall and was all over the floor. The bedroom lamp had exposed wiring so we did not use it. The bedroom walls were dirty and need a lick of paint. The room was small and uncomfortable. The check-in was disorderly and our room still had people in it so we were made to wait while they figured out which room was free. Even the staff seemed to be aware of the inefficiency of the check-in and said: "This place is always a mess". While this is budget accommodation and I would not expect a 5-star experience, I have stayed in MUCH nicer places for the same price in Bolivia.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Breakfast OK, but not provided by hostel staff, but by a friendly Brazilian back-packer who befriended me!!
Cons: First & only place in 10 yrs travel throughout C & S America to charge me in advance on arrival - distrust! Despite previous messsages re my semi-disabled condition & difficulty of mobility with stairs, etc, no warning that breakfast served on V top floor, with no access via lift - no offer of help from hostel staff!! Despite changing my original reservation of single room to shared room on ground floor for convenience, refused to give me any discount/rebate for difference in price of rooms Bitten by fleas on both nights in room for my exclusive use, so obviously unclean/unhygienic conditions! Warning!! Worst of all, NEVER gave me a SINGLE phone message in 3 days from La Paz friends & World Vision, trying to coordinate arrangement for collection/delivery of bicycle to present to my sponsored godson for his forthcoming birthday, so GREAT disappointment for all concerned, plus further expense incurred in providing transport for bicycle to godson in community 2 hours away from Oruro! I should expect at least an apology, & preferably a refund of room cost, in view of last failure to fulfil/accomplish!
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Cons: Very good place. And the people there very nice
6.3 Good
Pros: Buffet breakfast with fruits (sometimes) Beds are comfortable Hot shower
Cons: Close from the new bus terminal but far away from the center, in a very ugly neighborhood. But still, very expensive prices for carnaval - same prices as in the city center so... Somebody entered the room when I wasn't in but it wasn't to change to sheets/towels or empty the dustbin... I don't know why, nothing was stolen (I had no valuable inside) but I noticed it because they didn't lock the door with the key when going out... Basically my room stayed opened No elevator... Thin walls, we hear every noise from the neighbour No small lamp in the room near the bed There is a fridge in the room (but it turned everything into ice...)
7.5 Good
Pros: Location is perfect, walking distance from the bus terminal!
Cons: Breakfast was poor
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean new building.
Cons: The location is far.
6.3 Good
Pros: Good location from bus terminal! Good customer service!
Cons: Carnival time is too expensive.
7.1 Good
Pros: This is a fairly new hotel. My room was spacious and clean. Bathroom was good. Staff was friendly. Very near to the bus station but on needs a taxi to get into town ... around 5 or 6 Bolivianos.
Cons: Breakfast was very mediocre. The hotel stands in the middle of a dirt road ... as it had rained before I arrived, my shoes and my suitcase were all dirty once I arrived at the hotel. In such case, better take a taxi, although it is very close to the bus station. There is nothing around, apart from a few small stores and the bus station.
7.9 Good
Pros: Very close to the bus station, good WiFi, nice buffet breakfast, very cute kitten, comfortable bed. Has a cable tv
Cons: The price on booking is a bit more than the charge on the wall in the hotel. The bathroom had a smell of drains.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent value good breakfast very clean and hot showers
Cons: Difficult to reserve outside of booking.vom
