It is conveniant to where I needed to go and the place is comfortable and the have BBC
Very Comfortable no
Very clean, welcoming and comfortable The lack of sport fitness facilities
Convenience to town center
The staff were exeptionally helpful and cheerful. The Michelin-starred restaurant was truly magnificent. No
My room was large and very clean. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. In contrast to the hotel staff, the service from the restaurant staff, both at dinner and breakfast, was very poor.
the breakfast was great and the staff were very friendly
The attention of the staff and excellent breakfast.
Location, walking distance to train station, easy to find. No
Central location and adequate parking Breakfast could have been better. Cheese slices were dry
Service Carbage bag lying in the elevator
Nice room and location is good for the train. No, all good.
nice friendly staff, the waitet for us though we were a very late arrival. Our reason for chosing this hotel was that you are allowed to bring your dog. We were overall pleasently surprised with everything
After 2 weeks of hard beds and stuffy rooms - the room I had at the City Hotel had the best bed, great bathroom - large room in general and even being next to the elevator - I did not hear it. I had a great stay and would stay again. Nothing
The room was clean and the staff was friendly The breakfast buffet had a limited selection
Hotel was clean, spacious, and staf were friendly and helpful, I asked them to rent me a bycicle which they did. The breakfast was standard for Netherlands, if you dont like it you dont have to eat it. Dinner was excellent and restaurant is well worth a visit!
The staff was very friendly and the room was great. Maybe they changed the windows, but the room was not at all cold (even though we came in winter). Nice breakfast, not 'the usual' but things a little bit out of the ordinary, like goat cream cheese.
Nice Hotel in a village, clean, small rooms but fare enough, door are thick.
Room 6 very pleasant, easy to find hotel, parking nearby no problem. Still good from last time I visted about 4 years ago. Mix up over our food order (2x menu of week) resulted in soup arriving promptly, main course much later and getting charged for our desserts as well as 2 menu of week. Think drinks bill was wrong too, maybe the ordering system needs to be checked out.
Pleasant staff, good food in the bar Windows of the room should be replaced, there was a big gap around them with the wind blowing through!
Rooms spacious and very clean No drinks making facilities within the room
Pleasant hotel with very comfortable beds! Good dinner. No
Location Rooms not as depicted.
Very nice well ran hotel
lovely place and friendly staff.
The unique history of the building, lovely dining rooms and common rooms, and attentive staff. The only reason I gave "good" (not "excellent") for services/facilities was because I had one of the rooms that has shared bathroom facilities. Otherwise, it is a lovely building with beautiful, cozy dining rooms.
nice environment, excellent reception, flexible owners, very good breakfast buffet. Old monastry with a modern touch. Slept very well and enjoyed my stay.
The friendly helpful and efficient way it was run. Nothing.
Clean friendly courtious. Location near centre of town. Arranged early breakfast to meet the group's requirement. Very well appointed room.
the history of the hotel is fastinating, the staff are extremly friendly and the whole experience was superb. would make a fab place to get married
Actually it is a B&B, but it can easily win a competition with several hotels I have used in the Netherlands. I experienced it as if I was the lord of the manor himself in the luxury castle style central living room, and in my bedroom with big flat screen. In September I'm visiting the Netherlands again, guess where I'll stay??
