The staff were really really nice especially since we checked in and arrived back really late on both of the nights we stayed there. Breakfast was also good, when it ended they didn't immediately put everything away so if you were a little late there was still a chance to get something. The four person room was a little cramped and one double bed was a pull out sofa/couch thing that was perhaps a little too small for two adults.
Great location with a bus stop directly across the street and a very short walk (500m) to several very nice resturants.
Nice staff, clean Rooms, incredible breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who are traveling to Münich and doesn´t mind to stay a few miles outside the city centre. They have no wireless internet unless you´re already a customer at the german T-mobile company. They do have one computer with internet that all the guests can use for free.
Functionality and effcient service prepared to meet business client expectations Access to internet cloud be better
The hotel staff was nice and helped us with the metro however they did not have any city maps. It was only about 30/40 minutes on the bus/train to get downtown so not bad. They had an awesome breakfast layout for free. They offered a computer to use the internet but there was only one. The room was very nice and stylish. They charged us for things we did not drink in the minibar. When we booked they forced us to wire the money and could not pay by credit card. I feel we were treated a little different because we were younger.
Excellent breakfast with personally cooked hot breakfast. Excellent choice of things to eat.
Cleaness and breakfast
Good service from the personnel. Very clean. Well equipped room. Wlan signal was weak in my room (4th floor)
good location and perfect staff and service... The hotel is not small but very comfortable. I think i will advice it to everyone is enough far from the center, but easy to reach using s-bahn
excellent breakfast clean quiet rooms
We stayed at Holiday Inn Munchen Unterhaching for 3 nights during the first weekend of Oktoberfest 2010. The hotel staff were very friendly and the room was very well appointed and comfortable. The location of the hotel is about a 10min walk from the station, and the station is about a 20min train ride from the city centre. The hotel was a bit far away to get to, especially as the train that services the area is very infrequent - it only comes every 15 to 20mins. The price for breakfast was also very expensive - 18 euros per person. Much cheaper to grab a bite to eat from the bakery across the street from the hotel!
Very friendly & heplful staff. No Tea/Coffee making facilities in the room.
Please write at least 15 words the food
The room, the breakfast, the ambience Nothing in paricular
We really appreciated the kind and prompt service, and the wonderful breakfast.
The location and food. 1-The poor response and lasieness of staff. 2-The price of services provided by the hotel i.e internet services and food.
Th estff preformance and the quietinece of the area. The price of the internet service.
idid injoi at holiday inn unterhaching vary good staf and qut location with larj rom but the ander grawnd barking is smol saiz
Awesome morning breakfast - exceptional friendly staff and very helpful - Great location away from Munich's City center but nearby train station for easy access to anywhere you want to go in the Munich area They charge us a lot more money for their third night stay that we hadn't planned on staying because of Oktoberfest
Hotel is greate Breakfirst could be better
I loved the modern design of the rooms. The breakfast was also amazing with everything I want: good yogurt; cereals; eggs; good bread; good orange juice; etc.The room’s isolation of sound was perfect. We do not listen any noise from the corridor and outside. If you have a car and you don’t mind to travel about 10-15Kms this is the best option to stay in Munich.
The hotel was excellent and so was the staff and service. I found the room very clean and comfortable, and the presence of a kitchen (very well equipped, I could cook several times and feel at home) and of a DVD/Divx/USB stick/CD player attached to the tv made evenings after work very pleasant. Internet is free (although on a cable, but it was conveniently provided by the reception). I was so happy in this hotel that I cancelled my reservation in another hotel in a better location and returned there. The location is poor, but very convenient if you have to visit eads. A shuttle bus connects to the Ottobrunn station, but if you want to go out in the evening you have to take into account paying for the taxi from the Ottobrunn Schnellbahn to the Hotel (about 10 eur).
I liked the room - just the right size. Also liked the small kitchen devices - quite useful The hotel is brand new and some small details are to be improved - like a robe to allow people to go to the sauna...
One of the best hotel, which I ever been and I Travel often.
Very modern, 3star hotel of 5star quality
The hotel was great, but finding it was not easy as it is not registered on the satnav. The single beds were a little on the small side and my bed was not level.
The hotel is pretty new, breakfast is also very good and the service very polite. It has not a transport service to Munich, so Taxi are needed and they are pretty expensive in Germany.
Thanks! The fine hotel new, with the affable personnel, with all conveniences, a good breakfast, a sauna and fitness of halls!
It is very nice hotel and affordable. Internet is free. Internet is free but just wired.
Good clean room, wifi in the room. The staff was helpful with maps. Underground free parking for guests. Public transport into the city is easy but we used car instead. Its not actually in Munich, but a suburb city, but very close. 10 euro per person breakfast is expensive.
Comfortable, Clean rooms, modern decor and facilities. Breakfast is expensive.
It is a modern hotel. Room and bathroom were clean. Nicely situated, not far from good and silent walking surroundings. In average the personnel was friendly and polite. I needed to be at Campeon, and this Hotel - one S-bahn stop away - is fairly situated for that purpose. There was no attention payed to visitors during breakfast. My room had a bit of a dangerous ceiling (diagonal through the room).
The location was very convenient to me. Visited Campeon business park and this hotel was just 1 S-bahn stop from there, so there was good travel connection. The surroundings of the hotel is very nice and peaceful, and there is a rewe supermarket next to hotel building. Services in the hotel are in high standard.
Very efficient and functional. wlan was functional and fast. Free garage so no parking problems. Would definately go back.
it has a convenient store down stair. they didn't have the room for us. we have to change room three times. the staff was not accomodating and there is no apology.
The room is spacious and clean. The decor is stylish. Free Wi-Fi. The location is convenient with a 5-minute walk to train station and another 20-minute train ride to city centre. A few stops to OST Bahn where you can connect S1 or S8 to the Airport. The staff is friendly and very helpful. A supermarket is just at your footstep.
The location is a little far away the city centre, however in a quiet but safe distrcit. The tram station is within 10-minute-walk max.
Nice confortable rooms, free internet
Great location, clean, well maintained rooms, nice breakfast There was an issue with a key card not working leading to a member of the party sleeping in reception and some confusion resulting in the party taking 13 rooms rather than the required 12 but I don't blame the staff entirely. They were much better at English than I am at German!
Clean room and facilities, good breakfast, easy access to S-Bahn, huge parkink lot Too noisy
new & modern hotel, good breakfast, friendly staff
everything alright n.a.
Very very close to S-Bahn. Very clean. Trains might bother some people if the windows are left open at night.
Nice clean hotel. Was difficult to find because it was tucked away in a shopping area. Pillow No ironing board considering the name business hotel No refrigerator
Restaurant staff was very unkind
Oktoberfest. ease of parking, bar with outside seating taxi rides are expensive to the city
I could reduce cost of the stay by not having the breakfast if I wanted
comfortable, value for money no room service
nice clean and close to train
Very good location, easy to get center by car, very clean, new design, good impression at all Breakfast could be better
The price is good but a little bit far from the centre.
alles ausser Internet kostenpflichtiger teurer Internetzugang im Zimmer
Receptionist went out of his way to provide the quietest room as requested. No; and it was an ideal location for public transport+ the staff spoke excellent English.
pay attention is not Munich, it's Haar - near Munich- so it's like 15 min to drive by car. good place to stay with kids, rooms are clean, fresh. supermarkets and some cafe's are close by
Eventhough far from downtown Munich, good public transportation makes commutation easy. Bus 193 and 243 connects to subway in every 10 minutes Due to exhibition rate was over priced, but in normal time price is ok for the facilities provided
Kind of a retro hotel - good idea but a bit dark colors surround you everywhere. Staff if very polite and 24 hours available. Free wifi in the lobby (reception). Eatable breakfast. dark colors everywhere
very nice hotel for its price. Much better than another hotel near Neuperlach Süd with prohibitive prices. I however regret that I had no direction information (take bus 210 from Neuperlach Süd)
It was just for one night during our trip to Austria, that we stayed in this hotel and for this reason it was OK. I would not recommend this hotel for a longer period of time.
The staff was very friendly and made you feel welcome The door of the shower cabin wa broken, the tv remote did not work properly, there were no shutters, the room was smelling a bit strange. Very old carpeting.
I stayed just one night, difficult to give more comments...
the friendly staff and the bed.. slept good! its pretty far away from the action, but who doesnt care about the train ride into the city its good
Value for price
Comfort, perfectly located for my business, good price Old fashion furniture but OK
Although technically outside of Munich, I found this hotel to be great. The staff were very friendly, the CHEAP (4.50) breakfast was amazing value with lots of selection and amazing scrambled eggs. Our room was clean, perhaps slightly dated in some minor areas (like the bedside clock and the hairdryer), but overall was a very standard hotel room. To get to the hotel from Munich Hauptbanhoff (Central Station), you take the S7 (NOT the line 6 like it says in the hotel's directions). Get off at Neuperlach Sud station. Immediately underneath the station, at road level, is the bus stop for the #210--this bus stops directly across the street from the hotel-- Ottostraße stop.
location it was too hot and there wase no air conditioner
I liked a lot friendly staff and the willingness to help. The room was very comfortable with a large bathroom. Breakfast is a good value for the money (8EUR) Hotel has a bad location if you want to visit Munich! You don't want to spend >40 mins to travel to Munich center by bus+S-bahn. Be cautious! Cancelation policy is also strange in case you book >1 nights. It is better to have 3 different reservations per night then have 1 reservation for 3 nights.
Very friendly and helpful staff, free wifi in the rooms, business room had lcd screen, clean and comfortable beds Around 20 mins to the Munich city centre by bus and underground, the price was expensive because of the oktoberfest
It was very quiet, no noise during the night/morning. The staff was gentle and helpsom There was no bar where to hangout in the evening, which gives no opportunity to talk with the other guests.
good value for money, friendly owners
It was in a quiet village-like small city (Ottobrun). You have to take a bus then U-Bahn to reach Munich center. So 30 min is spent in the morning and at night just on transportation.
Very friendly and personal. A home waway from home.
very nice hotel for the price with a good connection with center Munich in a quiet and safe zone
there is no word to thanks the friendliness of hotel staff. Everything in the hotel is lovely, very good place!
The staff was very friendly and gave helpful information. We planned most of our activities in Munich and the hotel was quite a trek from the main attractions. The room was a bit dusty and the bathroom plumbing made the whole room smell.
Silence of streets Radiators of heating did not heat.
free parking ,free internet wireless connection , free pool and sauna ...breakfast include internet a little slow !!!!
really nice staff no
Cleaness of the room No
Nice quiet area, 10 min walk from station which is only 15 mins on train from Ostbanhof. Brilliant breakfast and very friendly staff.
Very clean and nice rooms. The wireless internet did not work and staff could not assist with the problem. They didn't seem to care that it didn't work. Additionally, we needed to catch a train early in the morning and although food was already set out for breakfast, we were not allowed to have any due to being outside of published breakfast hours. Rude and indifferent sums up the staff experience.
Breakfast was extensive, anything you could imagine! Too far from S-Bahn with infrequent bus service. Front desk only open until 10 pm.
high standard Not English speaking
Staff very friendly, nicely decorated, very clean and excellent breakfast
clean.nice area, away from the Octoberfest crowds. king beds were two singles not joined just pushed together.only 2 staff members were friendly.what was advertised on kayak was confusing at best had to pay more once we saw the single bed in the room.
The hotel is well maintained, comfortable and very clean.
Clean rooms, and convienient location None
staff was very pleasant and helpful; best breakfast in our entire three weeks in Europe;very convenient to getting downtown Munich by public transportation.
I liked the breakfast dining room and the breakfast menu was quite good. The atmosphere overall is very nice, warm, family friendly. It is quite isolated. It does not operate a restaurant (only breakfast) so you cant get a coffee or anything else during the day.
Nice room to sleep in. Restaurent near by. Near the Autobahn A9. No
The hotel staff were very courteous and helpful. The breakfast was perfect. The room was spotless and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again!
The rooms were very spacious and very clean. The staff were really helpful and although only one lady spoke some english, we managed to communicate! The hotel was really central for touring the area of Munich. We'd highly recommend the hotel, especially if you have your own car.
Friendly helpful staff, close to the train station with frequent service into the city or out further into the countryside
Being very close to my business gives it a clear advantage. Additionally, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff make it a pleasant place to stay.
very quiet and comfortable room, albeit no air conditioning, but it was cold so it didn't matter. Would definitely return.
Very nice hotel owned nowdays by Italian family. Clean, cosy, comfortable. Excellent view! Highly reccomened!
The hotel did not have a lift and the train station nearby was only a trem station and not an main station
Pleasant location, close to our business location
Breakfast very good.
Beautiful location adjacent to Grunvald castle. Lovely food but expensive. If you have difficulty with stairs, request a room on a low floor.
Nice hotel with traditions and quite placement.
Most exellent hotel especially for adult couples, exellent service, peaceful, good position. everything was just perfect.
The setting and location were good. The staff - those who we met - were friendly. Breakfast was good. We were ideally suited for train travel in to Munich each morning. The journey was excellent and cheap. There were no bedside tables nor reading lights in our room. Just a table under the window. Water was cold on the first night, but corrected quickly. The staff (one woman) left during the early evening leaving us alone in the hotel which we felt was strange. This was a three star hotel and we expected more.
Pleasant ambiance with rustic architecture Booked 3 double bed rooms, not available on arrival
Very comfortable accommodation, friendly staff in a quiet location. Short walk to S Bahn station, 20 minute ride into city centre.
Nice hotel, friendly staff.Breakfast was included and was very good.Next time I will stay again.
nice comfortable room, really friendly staff nothing was to much trouble, i would highly recommend
Good breakfast, clean room, cute porch. Staff speaks no english, very hard to communicate. Hotel is a 40euro cab ride away from Munich. There is a bell tower that chimes every hour.
Ok, but no more I asked for a baby bed to be set up, but this had not been done.
the owners are very friendly and helpful. they were also very informative and spoke english well, their dining area is very quaint and welcoming.
large rooms on the 1st floor
Large, convinient room. Good, typical Bavarian food in restaurant. Excellent breakfast buffé. Good service with a little bit extra... we got painted eggs for breakfast on Eastern.
Lovely hotel and cleanliness of room and bath . morning breakfasts were very good and pleantiful. I'm a Sr. citizen and having to carry my luggage two flights upstairs to my room was very difficult. I was also disappointed that no one spoke any English (not even a little bit). Communicating was a little difficult.
Hotel Grasbrunner hada very nice location in a small town outside of Munich. It proved all the ammenities, It is setup for the budget minded. stairs, stairs, stairs
Very nice family room and brekfast was very good!!
Size of the room
breakfast church bell ringing all night, every 15 min ...
