The free breakfast was fabulous.
The staff were very friendly, hotel was clean & comfortable in a lovely old building. The location was excellent & Oxford was a delight!
I liked the location very much and the house as such. The fact that there is not always staff around if you have questions, can be a little frustrating. Luckily, once I got through to management, they were very helpful and my problems were quickly solved.
Breakfast was nice, but very eggy. While I liked the poached eggs for breakfast, on day 3, I was yearning for muesli, joghurt, and some fresh fruit, which wasn't served. Plumbing with regard to showers in some rooms could be improved.
Fabulous location, really friendly and helpful staff and great breakfast at the Turl street cafe next door. Thank you
The room was lovely and even though your right in the middle of everything in Oxford (And a Saturday night) it was still very quite and we had a great nights sleep. As i said it a pain in the butt to get to breakfast in the rain... but when your there the staff were polite and the breakfast was lovely. I would stay there again and recommend others to do the same.
The staff are not on site but round the corner in the next building at Turle Street Kitchen. So to get to breakfast it's a short walk to the kitchen. Just a little pain in the butt as it started to rain when we went to eat.
A stay at The Tower House places you in the heart of Oxford, steps from Exeter College and Covered Market. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
