When I told them they should remedy somehow their mistake, they said they did not have any other extra seat in business and that there was nothing they could do. They did not apologize. They were quite unprofessional and rude. I fly often and I have never experienced something so unprofessional and rude. Alitalia is far better than Swissair in terms of professionalism and of politeness. I will always discourage anyone from flying Swissair. Worst company ever."

But it certainly didn't make the flight comfortable, nor did the young child kicking incessantly at the back of my and my daughter's seats. This could have occurred on any flight, but it didn't contribute to having a positive experience on this one. The flight attendant serving breakfast completely ignored that fact that I was awake and strolled past without asking if I would like anything as meals were being served. I informed another flight attendant that we hadn't been offered breakfast and she was able to provide us with meals. Besides this the cabin crew were courteous and pleasant. I've flown with Swiss on other occasions and have had better experiences. I'd like to think this was just a one off and not representative of the level of service that Swiss normally provides."

I was told that they had reserved an isle (they could not sell me an upgrade- I would have gladly paid for a seat up front), but when I arrived at the Swiss counter in NY my seat assignment was middle/middle. I was unable to reach Swiss phone reps due to limited hours of service. I did Post on the Swiss Face Book site as per Swiss air website instructions. I also emailed social support help- I received no reply. gate agents were helpful with the first leg, but had no ability to help with the second - sent me to Geneva hopeful I could be helped there."

Cabin crew was terrific, even though they didn't come through the aisles enough between meal service to offer water or drinks. The quantity of video entertainment available was great, but the video screen was not good quality. Food served was sub-par for international business class. Absolutely no snacks were available between meal services, so i suggest bringing something in your carry-on. Most other airlines have some snacks such as small sandwiches, cookies, candy, fruit, or chips available for pickup at the gallery areas on intercontinental flights in business class.

After waiting an additional 15 minutes for a wheelchair, I was deposited in a waiting area, where a second wheelchair arrived after another long wait. Told me I might not make the plan (I did). Overall a very unpleasant and nasty experience. With the exception of the very nice lady (Mrs. Ilser?? ) who checked in my luggage, none of the other 3 persons at the express and regular check-in spoke decent German or English, and none was helpful (Go there, wait!!!) Barely made the plane in MUC, Heathrow turned out much better than the touted German efficiency. Please forward to Lufthansa customer relations. Dr. W. Hartwig"

MY large dog was on this flight and after several employees had looked over my forms for him she came out nowhere and threatened to not allow my dog on board due to faulty and incomplete paperwork! I instantly went into a nervous condition of the sweats and scrambled to prove her wrong. When I asked again what was wrong with my (actually legitame paperwork) she just told me that at this point it didn't matter and that she would allow me to fly even though I was at risk of quarantine aty destination. I wasn't happy about this and asked again why there seemed to be an issue and she was unhelpful, handed me a business card for the USDA and told me that I was lucky to get away with her travel mercies for my dog. I had visited a USDA certified veterinarian and she hadn't given me the opportunity to prove this. I was confused and annoyed and while the other employees could see this about me, they apologized on her behalf. I really wish I had gotten this woman's name and work station so I could follow up with her and inform her on a few things. Other than that I love working with and flying Lufthansa airlines!"

In the big room by the gate there was only one spot where I found three electrical sockets hanging from a pillar or post. To my dismay none worked. My plug would fall off from each. To document, I took the pictures of the useless sockets... I complained to the lady at the boarding desk (she left before the SAS staff moved in), she did not even care... This experience frustrated me and turned an otherwise pleasant trip into a bitter one. Please install some working sockets in your waiting room! Pros: "boarding is different and they were talking over pa announcements at heathrow so you could not hear what to do. you go through one ticket agent to the down stairs to another ticket agent. everyone knowing what to expect crowded around the second ticket agent and there because of that forget about boarding by row or zone you couldn't get throught the crowd. plus the second ticket agent was right next to the downstairs escalator so people coming late got on before us."

The attendants new that those were necessary why so many yet not one made sure we got them lousy service. I wish we got a crew that wasnt so insecure and cared more about providing a good service instead of caring so much over their appearance. I rather have good efficient staff what they look like doesnt matter to me."

I still have not received my suitcase in Helsinki, and they can't seem to locate it. I am on vacation in Finland and have no clothes, medicine, or toiletries and everyone at SAS and baggage claim have been very unhelpful."

I tried calling multiple SAS offices overnight, and finally reached someone the morning of my flight and was rebooked to a different flight, via Berlin. When I got to the airport the booking hadn't been updated, so I had to go through the entire process again with customer service. Because of the flight cancellation and the difficulties rebooking, I was not able to book my luggage so I was charged a penalty fee at the airport when I was finally checked in for the flight via Berlin, and paid much more for my bag than I should have."

This is the worst flight I have ever been on. Dread getting in this flight to go home."

Furthermore, the website does not work and they do not write back. The single worst travel airline in my book, though the flight itself was fine. The man I sat next to had his flight cancelled without a refund and a similar story to me, with no helpful employees."

The airline support staff mistakenly tagged me as a no show however, I had been in contact with both the 3rd party vendor and the airline explaining my situation. I watched my 3 friends board a plan with no idea if I would get to go to Iceland, it was the weekend and no embassy was open to address what may have happened with my documentation. No one could tell me if I would be able to get on another flight and join my friends nor if I would be refunded, I was simply put on a no show list and bounced between several customer support representatives. I am very upset that the situation occurred"

Cons: "There were complications during checkin that resulted in everyone waiting on line for three hours while the employees tried to figure it out. They couldn't and eventually hand wrote boarding passes. In my opinion - they waited too long to make the decision to do this (over two and 1/2 hours us waiting in line no movement). Because of this, our flight was delayed. We made our connecting flight but our luggage did not. We took Icelander partner Swissair to Amsterdam. We went to the Swissair lost luggage office and spoke with a gentleman who informed us that our luggage was still in Reykjavik and would be flown to Amsterdam the next day (this was Monday at noon). I told him that we were not going to be in Amsterdam, but we're driving that afternoon to Koblenz, and would be staying there until Friday. He assured me that they would fly our luggage to Frankfurt and deliver it to our apartment the next day. I gave him our information, and he gave me a baggage claim with the phone number to check on the status. He told me they would contact me by phone the next day for delivery and that we would have to be present to sign for the luggage. We did not use this as an opportunity to go on a shopping spree. Instead, we bought some essentials (soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, underwear and a shirt) knowing that we had laundry facilities at our disposal. We did not receive our luggage on Tuesday. I called the number given to me Tuesday afternoon (after not hearing from the airline all day) and was told that my luggage had been shipped to Amsterdam....not Frankfurt. I explained again that we were not in Amsterdam and would not be back there until Friday. I was assured that they were putting the baggage on the next flight to Frankfurt via KLM airlines and we would have it the next day. On Wednesday afternoon, I again called the number after not hearing from them all day. I was informed now that our bags made it to Frankfurt airport but would not be delivered until the next day, Thursday. We had been wearing the same clothes since we left NY on Sunday. I asked to speak to the gentleman's manager. I wanted assurances that we would receive our luggage as no one, up to that point, from any airline (Icelandair or Swissair) had followed up with me. I was the one calling each day. He was very hostile and told us his manager was not there and there was no one else we could speak to. There was no other number we could call to discuss our claim. He got defensive and his answer was that the baggage was in KLM's hands and he could not answer for it anymore. Yet I wanted to know why I had not received an update each day, why after three days we did not have our luggage, and why none of them (Icelandair or Swissair) was making this a priority. Remember, our luggage was not lost at any time. They always knew where it was and they always knew where we were going to be. This representative hung up on me ."

I flew Saga class, but the crew stayed in the kitchen, did not help to put up luggage, welcome us on board. They gave us a plastic bottle of water. There was no choice on the menu. The tray was put in front of you. There was no drink or snack upon boarding. Other than putting the tray in front of you and collecting it, the flight crew stayed in the kitchen. There was no interaction. There was nothing special about the comfort, entertainment or food. Also I like to see the flight path, but that was not available."

One bag was found and delivered to our hotel in London the night of 6/30. The second was not found and delivered until 7/1, and I retrieved the third bag on 7/2 when departing Heathrow Airport to Vienna."
Pros: "Kind flight staff. I'm also 6' 6" and it seemed like there was slightly more leg room in the standard seats. I wouldn't say I was super comfortable but I could still feel my legs after the flight which is saying something."

All planes were boarded at least 30-45 minutes later than expected and the late boarding delay on one of the flights caused the plane to miss a flight window and the entire plane had to sit on the tarmac for almost 3 hours. This extra time on the tarmac caused me to miss my connecting flight and I had to sit at the airport for over 8 hours waiting for the next available flight. Also, no complimentary food was given on a flight that long."
