Everyone on the staff was very helpful. It was just my son and myself and I felt very safe since you need a key to get into any part of the hotel premises other than the front lobby. You don't have to carry cash on you which is great!! We didn't even need to leave to do anything. There is plenty of food options there. It had so many activities for my son to do and he had a blast. It is overall a beautiful place. We both had such a great time. I told my friends all about it and I want to go back soon.
Liked the multi pool lush tropical settng. Did lack an in-house restaraunt though. But the tiki/pool bar was nice and light menu was available there. We are a family with two kids (7 and 11). Atmosphere was definately more suited for 'senior' group.
Only stayed one night but were very happy with the room and all the amenities made it comfortable and convenient.
Situated in a residential area, very quiet and not like the usual beach strip location- this resort has it all for any age. Pool and food service right there for families, and an easy walk to the business area with many choices for adult dining. a mini store on site is also very convenient. The front desk even made me google maps for our next stop on our trip, but we would have liked to stay longer.
My wife and I are now completing what is our fourth visit to Ocean Pointe. The 'villas' are comfortable, spacious and well appointed. The resort is large with five buildings, four grouped together and one, the one closest to the waterway between Singer Island and Palm Beach, separated from the others by a condo. The resort has three major pool areas (along with hot tubs) and an extensive activity program, focusing on kids, but including activities for adults as well. It also has outdoor cooking facilities and some very nice shaded chair swings that seem to appeal more to adults than kids. One of the greatest drawback of Ocean Pointe is parking. Although there is outdoor parking, there is also semi-enclosed parking under the various buildings--but the parking spaces tend to be small and quite difficult to get into and out of. There are also gates which one has to get past in order to get into the various parking areas. While it makes sense to keep others from the adjacent beach, the gates are inconvenient and even annoying. If you have younger kids, you may want to request a villa in the area with the cluster of four buildings (Sailfish, Dolphin, Cobia or Pampano) because that's where there are more facilities and more activities for them and you. If you'd prefer things being a bit more private and a bit more quiet, the Kingfish building, the one closest to the waterway between Singer Island and Palm Beach, would probably be your best choice. There aren't a lot of good restaurants in the immediate vicinity, but West Palm Beach, Palm Beach and Palm Beach Gardens are all relatively close.
On this trip it was just my husband and I in a one bedroom. It was great having a jacuzzi, a living area to snack and watch tv, as well as a kitchen and terrace. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was luxurious. Our room was clean and quiet. The beach is not crowded and we never had a problem finding lounges by one of the pools. The tiki bar had daily drink specials. It is definitely a resort more geared to family. We have stayed here before with our kids and loved it then as well. Great comfortable unpretentious resort that gives a bit more space than a regular hotel room.
We love the resort but they really need to hire new people on the beach. I can't believe that they let those kids work in a resort like this. So rude! Bunch of little punks, every year we come I will not let my girls go to the beach because of the beach guys. I even told staff members of the things that they do and again, I come back this year and there whistling at my 13 year old daughter. Not happy, stay by the pool!
We stayed for two nights during Thanksgiving and added a third even though we had freinds in Boca offering us a room at their house. Location is great for pool (many), beach, and inlet for fishing. Our four year old found many friends at the pool, many who return year after year. Lot's of activities for the kids. Each of the buildings has a group of stainless grills behind it. The staff was top notch. We'll be back.
Room size The water is yellow. If that fact was proactively communicated and explained, it would have better managed expectations.
Close to the beach. A separate pool for kids. Very kind personnel. Free wi-fi. Good ratio quality/cost Is not too close to Palm Beach. There are not so many actractions close by.
Location on the beach, poolarea and big well equiped rooms. Helpfull staff. Next time we will stay for a few days more. Nothing.
First of all they did nit receive the booking confirmation from the booking.com. So I had nor the room I booked nor the price I booked it.
nice appartment not enough beds at the swimming pool
the cooperated staff and beach is very interesting. no bussiness centre to use computer for internet.
The friendly staff. No
There was always something to do! The fold out couch was not very comfortable.
Staff was very hospitable, food was very good and priced reasonably which would be a reason to recommend it to others, and why we would come back Could be updated and more activities for teens
The suite was clean and spacious. It was convenient to have a kitchen while on vacation, so we did not have to eat out for every meal. The only thing that threw us off was the price. Over $500 for 3 nights seemed a little much.
Bar and restaurant staff was very friendly all around. Pool area was nice. Food was good. Beach staff were fantastically friendly and helpful. We loved being beach front! The internet connection (which we paid for) never really seemed to work for any of our group. The DJ by the pool was terrible. Music was certainly welcome, but he just did a terrible job reading his audience/crowd.
The staff was exceptional accommodating my needs and everyone that I had contact with was exceptional friendly and helpful.
They had a "special floor" for cut rate rooms. It was a view of the roof with loud ugly air conditioners! Gave us the worst rooms with no balcony.
Location Paid for bed and breakfast but did not receive breakfast included.
The beach No free internet, lack of pressure in the shower, the restaurant selections, and limited menu selections.
was charged 5 dollars for an expired snack that was in the stocked bar, you can get free internet access at Mc Donalds but not at a Hilton. No continental breakfast , Holiday Inn charges 50.00 less and has an excellent breakfast. The parking situation is aggravating. The gate does not work predictably, at guest has to pay to park ? I understand if you were not an actual over night guest, but that was ridiculous. So many people have problems with the exit gate, there would be 4 or 5 cars waiting to get out behind that one confused guest. The little things were so over priced it made you question everything about the Hilton's ethics because it was obvious you were being exploited. The positive, great coffee, excellent house keeping staff, friendly staff in general and nothing competes with the Atlantic Ocean for it's beauty. Very nice gift shop. Quiet at night, no rowdy guests. Very good security, I felt safe.
Breakfast is super bacon etc. Swimming pool is having aircon giving a nice temperature in the summer period, location directly on the beach, a bit more expensive but good quality, good self parking Only few resturants in area, need to pay for internet but better quality than on other hotels, hotel did charge almost 4000 USD on my credit card at arrival and returned them at departure 3 days later - this is not the normal way hotel normally only reserve don't collect will write to hotel about this!
The room was comfortable and had a nice view. The menu at the restaurant is a little dated and, therefore, limited. Check in was oddly laborious, so was reaching the concierge on the phone. The toilet did not work and the plumber arrived at 11 pm to fix it but fix it he did.
The staff was excellent, courteous, helpful....they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Excellent restaurant. Perfect location. Would return in a hear beat!
It is the perfect get away hotel if you wanna be close to home but yet away, I
swimming in nice two outdoor pools ,relaxation at ocean beach
Right on the beach, staff friendly and helpful. Family atmosphere.
Great room. Great location. Better than the reviews. We had a wonderful stay in a large, comfortable and clean room. Nope
Everything was brand new, Service was wonderful. Took longer than expected to check in. Check in time is 3pm we got to our room at 4:25pm. They accommodated us so we could change and enjoy the pool. Fortunately it was a sunny day. When we got to our room we were not disappointed. Gorgeous 2 BR condo and plenty of room for a family of 5. Large balcony, 20th floor with a view of the ocean, waterway and all the way down the coast. Only stayed for a weekend, but wished it was at least a week. Pool, Hottubs, & kids facilities were awesome. Right on the beach with Chairs and umbrellas you don't have to pay for. The marketplace needs a little more inventory, but a Publix is right down the road. I hope to go here again in the near future and stay longer. One more thing...No time share pressure
The workers were very pleasant!
Went for a long weekend villa was beautiful. right on beach. Would recommend.
This hotel was great! The only problem I had was that the description both on this site and theirs along with signs in the actual hotel stated that there was a restaurant and lounge on the property. There was not. Other than that everything else was wonderful.
Close to where I had to conduct business the following day. The decor needs an update. Room felt cramped.
