6.0 Good
Pros: The location was very nice .
Cons: No air conditioning or fan in the room it was too hot to sleep .We couldn't lift the blinds as it was not private at all .We had a sleepless night very disappointed .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very new house with laundry, A/C, good internet and some rooms have an en-suite. Hosts were very nice and assisted us with entry, as we could not receive the check in instructions, for lack of internet. We were the only people in the house at the time, making it an outstanding value. Very close to the train station and other downtown activities.
Cons: Not a negative comment, but a suggestion that guests ask the hosts for instructions on how to operate the hot water controller and possibly the A/C thermostat. The former requires some thought and experimentation, while the latter is fairly standard for those familiar with the type of A/C system.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Enjoyed the stay
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The room
Cons: All good
10.0 Excellent

7.1 Good
Pros: A clean simple room, tucked away in Karaka
Cons: Things were a little basic, simple things missing such as toilet roll holder. Admittedly we organised the stay pretty late in the day

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel, great location, great staff
Cons: Wifi was down when we stayed
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The place is a dump. With roaches, terrible service and just a waste of time and money. If I had little time I would had moved to any other place. But I only had a short night before my flight in the early morning. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this place
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nicely done up. Clean. Good size room. Great value. Bottle of filtered water in fridge.
Cons: Cups next to bed not found until after I made my coffee in a glass. Got to room and went to order some food only to be told that there is no service - the menu needs to be removed from the compendium in that case and I should have been told at check in. Large rubbish bin awkwardly next to toilet. Not enough coffee or milk had their been two of us in the room. Bed mattress felt cheap - not too comfortable but that said I slept reasonably ok.
5.0 Okay
Pros: reception great room good facilities
Cons: phone didn't work - what the hell? air conditioning fixed at 21C no matter what I did - not 4* shower fired out horizontally - all over the bathroom light above the bed flickered - you are a business that does not tell there staff to attend to detail
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Restaurant food was very good. Close to a convenient shopping centre Garden courtyard to sit in.
Cons: No shuttle service at the moment
4.0 Okay
Pros: There beautiful Ornaments around the place
Cons: Rooms not being serviced everyday
7.9 Good
Pros: Reception Service was great n efficient Loved the foyer and seating /lounge area Room service was good n very prompt.
Cons: I would have expected a thorough clean throughout especially after lockdown and Covid19 going around the quality of cleaning did not match the outlook quality of the hotel. I booked 3 separate rooms throughout the weekend for family guests n myself and I noticed the same in all 3 rooms. Only Surface cleaning no deep clean after such a devastating worldwide pandemic it should have been top notch. There were clear watermarks from when the shower was last used.. Not cleaned. hair hanging off the shower walls, behind door clearly not ours as no one had used the facilities yet. The vents were thick with dust and the aircon was just pushing dust all around the room. If there was corona virus in your facility it would have spread to guests through such dirty vents. For people with disabilities or physical ailments the distance to the rooms are quite far and took a lot of energy out of me as i have cancer n my bones n joints ache so the walking distances really drained me n did not assist of i needed to be out during the days. Maybe a wheelchair service or caddy car would be good to offer n help make the stay a lot more pleasurable for vulnerable.
7.1 Good
Pros: Newly redesigned this hotel offers excellently decorated rooms and a well designed clean bathroom with open shower with a hand shower and rain shower heads, large luxury tub. They also have a free minibar with soft drinks and water which was very welcoming after a long trip. Free breakfast contained most basic items along with some more fancy items such as an omelet station.
Cons: Naumi hotel had all the appearance to a great hotel but for the price of 320$ for a king bed room was missing major items that should have came with the price. The biggest things missing in our opinion were high quality sheets. The sheets at this hotel were worse than major standard brands like hampton inn, Hilton, etc. they were rough and cheap. Pillows as well were polyester filled and hard. They do have down pillows but when we called to get them they only had one set for the hotel and they were taken. The last thing I will mention is the “hotel shuttle” which is another bus company which stops at multiple hotels, the tickets are $6 per person and they make you pay for these as well. My suggestion is get an uber for 18 and get there in 10 minute ride instead of messing with a long convoluted bus ride.
Auckland Airport Kiwi Hotel - Mangere - Bedroom

7.3 Good (3,970 reviews)
Overview Reviews
When you stay at Auckland Airport Kiwi Hotel in Mangere, you'll be near the airport, within a 10-minute drive of Rainbow's End and Alexandra Park. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary (available 24 hours).
7.0 Good
Pros: I stayed here because of the free airport shuttle.
Cons: I lost the directions on where to pick up the airport shuttle so emailed the hotel for new directions. Their response was an email telling me the "shuttle was free". Consequently I spent an hour looking for the shuttle, eventually getting a SIM card and calling the hotel. Everything else was fine- the staff were efficient and helpful- I just could have done without walking around the airport at 11pm trying to find where the hotel shuttle bus stopped. One other hint- there are a number of buses at Auckland airport that are yellow- it would have helped to know the bus is called "The Yellow Bus"
9.0 Excellent
Pros: excellent location for me to walk a short distance to Sunday worship
Cons: no; I was happy with my stay at the hotel.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I was given an upgrade because the door handle fell apart when I closed the door. The new room was much nicer and cooler.
Cons: The wifi is limited and you have to pay for more that 20 gbyts.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good location, easy to get to from free shuttle. Staff were very friendly, even at our 1:30am arrival time! They even scheduled a taxi for the morning time.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location, were able to leave our car here, transfer to the airport, friendly receptionist.
Cons: Beds were a little basic & hard.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: When we stayed here and the room was $72. Because of the Covid 19 situation our flight was cancelled so we went back there a few days later to get a room as we were stranded. They informed us the room is now $182 ! Blatant profiteering trying to exploit vulnerable people absolutely disgusting.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good outlook to the garden Great restaurant
Cons: No
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very spacious room. It was clean and with access to a communal garden.
Cons: It was slightly further from the airport than some other hotels, but there is a shuttle bus that goes around all the hotels and the airport.
6.0 Good
Cons: The breakfast was so so. Having to pay to get back to the airport was not cool. I would not stay their again.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location was good to get to the airport. Restaurant had good choice of meals.
Cons: We had 5 people but only 4 beds.My granddaughters had to share a bed. Reception wasn't interested in helping with this frankly I got the impression they didn't care. room was sufficient just to sleep, had a bathroom cabinet supplying water in the lounge for filling up the jug. My husband had to go down and get a battery for the smoke alarm which was not going and was hanging half of the ceiling as was damaged.Would bypass this hotel next time.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I like the service and feeling safe in the complex.
Cons: Nothing that I didn't like.
Sudima Auckland Airport - Mangere - Building
11
8.5 Excellent (3,191 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Sudima Auckland Airport is an award-winning 4.5-star hotel. Located approximately 2kms away from the Airport, there is a bus service that operates 24/7 which will get you there in minutes. Or if you drive, theres plenty of free parking. Offering 153, well appointed rooms, featuring en-suite, individually controlled air conditioning, direct dial phone, high speed internet, Sky TV, and in room dining. The hotel boasts an elegant bar and restaurant, indoor heated pool and gymnasium.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Under the circumstances this hotel was great. Because of vivid 19 and everything closed down the provided free meals which I think was exceptional. Other wise we had to walk a mile to find a supermarket. There was a frig in room so you could keep things cold but no microwave. That is why them providing meals was very appreciated.
Cons: The only thing I wasn’t happy about was the extra night charge. We had a 3 night reservation only because we had such a late flight we wanted to be more comfortable. When I checked in I asked about late check out and was told noon. So I kept my 3rd night as we wanted to stay until 4 or 5 pm. When we did check out around 4:30pm I was told if I had done so by 4pm there would have been no charge. I wish someone had told me that.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice room; lovely breakfast.
Cons: I thought the description of "shuttle" was misleading. Assumed they had their own shuttle & this is why I selected them. I waited 1:20 for the Yellow bus that then took 20mins to drop me off. :(
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked that it was clean, I had a large window that faced toward the west.
Cons: They made an error when they received my reservation. 21-24th My email confirmed 21-26th
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, staffs are friendly, helpful, professional & work hard to keep Sudima great and homely place
Cons: There was nothing that we did not like, beautiful and five star hotel, have recommended to friends and family
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were stranded in transit due to the virus. The staff were exemplary. The location was perfect and the facilities were excellent. The hotel was clean and well presented . Everything about it was good
Cons: There was nothing to dislike.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: exceptional service during the COvid 19 pandemic.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms and lobby were immaculate, and the management were generous and creative in helping stranded guests during lockdown of all public areas. They even supplied meals each day delivered to rooms, without charge. However, the most outstanding feature was the staff: each person we saw, regardless of role, was helpful and delightfully cheerful in the face of constantly changing circumstances. The Sudima brand claims strong credentials for customer service, and in our experience their pride is 100% justified.
Cons: It’s a small thing, but during our one-week stay the only public area that could be safely enjoyed was the attractive garden. There guests could speak to each other at a safe distance. A few basic function-room chairs would have added to comfort, and I’m sure guests would have helped by wiping them down with disinfectant.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location was the best part of this hotel and had all the amenities Close by
Cons: Yes we came for breakfast the very first day at about 9.45 And was told by the staff that they were going to close The area as 10.00 was the close of time. Most hotel let you sit and eat if you enter before time but we were told to go Out.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy to find, affordable and provided everything that we needed
Cons: Nothing
7.0 Good
Pros: The pool was good. Close to airport and the staff were great.
Cons: The bathroom was a little dated, needs a revamp. A little pricey, not worth the money paid.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent, close enough to the airport but also far enough away. The staff were fabulous. Welcoming and friendly. The bedroom was comfortable with a good selection of amenities within the room. Would benefit from a small fridge.
Cons: Breakfast could be better. No menu offered, buffet OK but the hot food not so hot. No offer of coffee options at breakfast (missed opportunity to up-sell and provide extra service).
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The restaurant was surprisingly good, and was very good value for money.
Cons: Too much white - too sterile

9.0 Excellent
Pros: It was convenient and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Cons: I had an issue with the water heater, it took ages for the water to heat up. I appreciate that in the current circumstances I can’t expect everything to run smooth but perhaps they can alert guests when they check. So we know what to expect. Thank you
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel, 5 minutes drive from the terminal ( Shattle servicez). Very comfortable room. We ordered dinner and the food was delicious. Compliments to the chef. He even sent us a cake on the house.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It is a typical airport hotel. It provides good lodging upon arriving or before leaving the Auckland Airport. The location is great. We were satisfied with our stay as we needed a place close to the airport as we were preparing to leave.
Cons: The bed was very soft.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location for the Villa Maria winery. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Beds were very comfortable and room location for us was perfect.
Cons: Food wasn’t brilliant. Early morning traffic noise from outside.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Only had room service but food was excellent. You could also do your own laundry for about £3, powder, wash and dryer. Hotel had their own shuttle bus to airport.
Cons: This is an airport hotel. It was ideal for me as I was there during CV lockdown while waiting to get a flight home but would not be a good location for touring Auckland and the North Island. Could also be a good hotel to crash if you have arrived in Auckland on a late flight.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. The food was the best airport hotel food I've ever had. The venison was cooked superbly. The fish and chips were light and crispy without too much batter and not at all greasy. The chocolate melt dessert was out of this world! Just enough for 2 to share without a lot of guilt. The beds were very comfortable with feather or foam pillows to chose from. The jacuzzi tub was an added bonus!
Cons: The tables and chairs in the restaurant look cheap and uncomfortable, but they were actually very comfortable. There was road construction when we arrived but it was wrapped up and quiet by 5:30!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovey big room and the shower was just amazing, esp when you're living out of a van haha. Big tv too. Helpfull staff and the food was great. We had to get room service due to covid 19 but it was still presented beautifully. So thank you :)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good shuttle service
Cons: Not many food choices except hotel restaurants without taking cab, which was expensive.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Our shuttle driver was very friendly and helpful. It was close to the airport and made transit easy.
Cons: It was a typical hotel near an airport. Not luxurious but works for a night before or after a flight in to Auckland.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good space. Comfortable beds. Bathroom was clean and modern. Convenient shuttle to/from airport. No nearby bars/restaurants but menus provided in room for food to be delivered.
Cons: Ladies on shuttle were a little brusque and could have been a bit more welcoming. Gentleman on shuttle when we left on the morning of our second stay was much more friendly and cheerful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: shuttle and car storage
Cons: not being able to stay on return due to Covid lockdown
1.0 Poor
Cons: Depressing as all heck.
5.7 Okay
Pros: The room was spotlessly clean. The cleaning staff were very friendly
Cons: The reception staff need to be really re-trained. It was the most peculiar situation I have come across. The bus person is also the receptionist. So you call for the bus and the receptionist has to drop everything and run to the bus and pick you up. I arrived at 9 at night the person had no interpersonal skills whatever. Next morning same thing, the receptionist had to drop everything to run to the airport with people so that people who had questions lining up at the desk had to wait for him to return from his trip... very odd. They are out to make money without the warm friendliness of the NZ people. A bit hard to take just of the flight from Australia. Out in the sticks no place to by any food at all..
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Very close to the airport
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Easy access to motorways and airport. Lovely room with spa bath. Will equip with kitchen utensils. Friendly manager.
Cons: Sadly no sky TV channels. Due to lock down sky was disconnected, and not told or discount offered.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Proximity to the airport, in a pleasant suburb. Free airport shuttle was excellent. Staff friendly and welcoming.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: Good
7.0 Good
Pros: Unlimited pick up and drop off from Auckland airport, which we used because our flight got cancelled last minute, friendly driver/counter staff guy.
Cons: Small kitchen, ants in room, rude pick up/counter staff lady, gave us wrong information about proximity of surrounding food sources, generally old furnishings.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were here for nearly 4 weeks, during the level 4 lockdown because of the Covid 19 virus. Staff & management went out of their way to make our extended stay as pleasant as possible.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Close to airport clean rooms good service
7.0 Good
Pros: Moderate price, well placed near the airport and the free shuttle to the airport is great.
Cons: They have over-used the air freshener in the corridors, otherwise clean and pleasant for an older property. The newsprint table cloths were not great and the restaurant staff frankly need a bit more training...
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Bus driver - very friendly
Cons: Staff weren't welcoming. No big smile with greeting. Just a little thing but no money value on it.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Could not beat the price and convenience to airport with free shuttle. Not a place for those who must have the Four Seasons luxury.
6.0 Good

8.0 Excellent
Pros: airport and shuttle
6.0 Good
Pros: Close location to airport, nice and quiet although it is in covid -19 lockdown so hard to tell. Bed was good and comfortable.
Cons: Room wasnt the cleanest , carpet was really dirty , shower hadnt been cleaned -lots of black hair in the shower tray from previous occupant , shower door was hard to close and shower was really in all essence unusable as went from scalding hot to freezing cold constantly- absolute rubbish really!!! For $80 per night it was bearable but wouldnt consider staying for longer as I would rather pay more and get more.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable bed, fantastic staff, value for money, reliable shuttle yo airport
Cons: Older motel in need of some TLC
1.0 Poor
Pros: Had a bed instead of sleeping in the car and a toilet but not worth the money considering what else you could with the same $
Cons: DO NOT RECOMMEND..Very old ugly cold room photos are NOT what u get. kitchenette beside bathroom basin and toilet shower. Sliding door out to scary old filthy carpark..All these open random exits to enter the building makes it cold and not secure, staff lovely but doesn't account for price and what u get...DO NOT COME HERE ITS NOT WORTH IT

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room clean, staff had great attitudes
Cons: Awesome staff,really helpfull
1.0 Poor
Pros: We like nothing at all have charged us for the smoke smell that was lingering in the room that's because we were smoking at the front door not once upon arrival did we get told we're to smoke and not too and we left the room very tidy late check in and they also charged us before us even knowing they had done so as far as we are concerned we did not smoke in the room at all and are very dissatisfied with them
Cons: We like nothing at all have charged us for the smoke smell that was lingering in the room that's because we were smoking at the front door not once upon arrival did we get told we're to smoke and not too and we left the room very tidy late check in and they also charged us before us even knowing they had done so as far as we are concerned we did not smoke in the room at all and are very dissatisfied with them
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: It was a place to sleep.
Cons: We booked a 3 person room, it had 3 beds, but it had only 2 chairs, very inconvenient. The toilet was dirty. It smelled funny, like people had been smoking in the room before. On the day we left the owner didn’t let us in the reception, he talked to my dad through the door and didn’t want to help us arrange a taxi. We get that we have to practice physical distancing in the current covidcrisis, but this was just customer friendly at all. Conclusion; not worth the money. Wouldn’t stay here again.
7.0 Good
Pros: Quietness
Cons: The wifi not working for me
7.0 Good
Pros: Comfortable Bed. Needed another bedside table. Close to the airport.
Cons: Not a big food selection on the menu but was adequate
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Plenty of room but you'd expect that for a 2 bedroom apartment.
Cons: Looked like it was being used as emergency housing. We were surrounded by loud groups playing loud base thumping music all night. Even saw what looked like a drug deal a few doors down. Couldn't wait to get out of there. Found it very dated and needed a fair bit of attention with up keep and maintenance.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The space was quite adequate for the 2 nights I booked. Location was awesome for access to the airport and last minute shopping. I left a water bottle in the room on a previous stay. I called the next day when I arrived back in Australia and the staff kept it safe for me from January.
Cons: The mattresses were a little too soft for my liking. The bathroom fan was a bit noisy and squeaky. I had to correct the toilet seat as it was not tightened in the correct position.

Cons: Pillows were a little hard.

7.0 Good
Cons: Terrible smell in the room and we could hear the neigbours through the wall
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Location was close to our rental cat

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Despite flight changes our transfers were prompt and Anthony and Elizabeth did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. Well recommended for AKL
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location to the airport and a huge bonus to have the free shuttle service as we had to drop our hire car back the night before and they collected us from the airport for our overnight stay and then a very early start with a 3.30am departure - on driver was just as chirpy then as our pick up! Comfortable bed, good facilities and easy check in/check out. Provided everything we needed for a night's stay.
Cons: Slightly musty smell but a few windows open sorted that!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The complementary shuttle from the airport was welcome after arriving on an evening flight. The room was very clean and well taken care of. The neighborhood was quiet.

Pros: The outside of the premises were untidy, curtains were falling away from windows and we were worried when we first arrived however the room was clean, quiet and met our needs for 1 night and very easy to find.
Cons: The staff was very abrupt and didn't assist with any information of the surrounding area and not able to give information on a place to eat.

Pros: The rooms were immaculately clean and beds were very comfortable. Could not fault it at all. Staff were friendly and thoughtful. Would not hesitate to stay there again.
Cons: The motel is on a busy road and a fair way from the city, however very close to bus stops and buses were regular. The air con was a little tricky to figure out, but we managed in the end.
