Excellent 10.0
Pros: Excellent room Great hosts Scenic views Nothing negative at all.
Good 7.5
Pros: Probably the best place to stay in Pemba although you will need a taxi to get around. Isabel is very friendly and can help you by contacting a reliable taxi. Large room and bed with bugs net and with a porch facing the sea and nice garden. Quiet and cosy place away from the bustling town centre.

Good 7.0
Pros: I liked the idea of living in a bungalow almost on the beach. The chef was preparing my meals according to my wishes and my schedule. I liked the surroundings - the empty beach.
Cons: Nobody cleaned my room once during my 8 days stay. You must be a real animal lover to stay in a bungalow - ants, mosquitos, bats, geckos and....rats! so be prepared to live in a zoo.
Excellent 9.5
Pros: The staff members work together as a team, led by Lionel who was always eager to help. One of the best service I’ve ever received.
Cons: This place is a slice of paradise. We spent most of our stay in the water. We just couldn’t get enough of the scenery.
Excellent 9.5
Pros: Staff were very friendly and helpful-Lionel went above and beyond! beautiful location- quiet beach and clear blue water. The kayaking/snorkling was brilliant and included in the price!
Excellent 8.8
Pros: The staff was wonderful! The owner was very supportive clarifyng all my doubts very quick and Lionel and the team there were so supportive and Always ready to please us. The cooker is a great one as well. The beach is beautiful and very close to it you can do snorkel in na amazing coral reef - they provide kayak FOR FREE!!! They also accept payment in euros and at a not bad rate of exchange
Cons: The bathroom in our room was a bit too open. The door did not avoid sounds and one can easily see the other inside. The room can fit families very well but even friends it is a bit too unprivate.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Shhhhh I almost don't want to give it away. This is a slice of paradise on earth. The beach lodge is situated on the most pristine and breathtaking beach. Wonderful for swimming. With crystal clear turquoise warm waters. If your idea of a holiday, like me, is to relax on the beach and swim in the sea, then this is the perfect destination. Communing with nature and watching the local fisher people go about their daily activities according to the tides. My idea of pure bliss. The lodge also offer complimentary activities like snorkeling and kayaking to the reef. The overall design of the lodge is beautifully and tastefully considered and true to the local style, with palm thatch roofs, clay walls and Kapalana fabric scatter cushions. Rustic but beach-style chic. The breakfast was delicious with fresh tropical fruit and juice and freshly baked local pao (bread). Perfect with lashings of butter. Delicious French-style omelette on the breakfast menu was delectable. The staff were incredibly friendly, generous and accommodating. Always greeting with a friendly smile. Lionel, the manager, is extremely attentive and will go above and beyond for the guests. Satisfying your every request. Thank you for everything and mostly for your friendly hospitality! I hope to be back in the near future. Obrigada para tudo!
Cons: My only regret is I wish I had stayed longer but definitely will be back. Already planning my next trip. Loved the French infused cooking in the restaurant, would love to also see more local Mozambican Portuguese style dishes on the menu too. Like peri peri chicken, grilled chokka and seafood. As an idea, to quell the tropical heat, possibly ceiling fans can be installed in the beach chalets and a screen door to leave open to create a draught at night.
Excellent 9.3
Pros: The beach is amazing. Everything at the lodge was exactly as described on the site. We enjoyed every minute. The staff was helpful and welcoming, food was delicious. Lionel and guys are indeed trying to make yr vocation special). Thanks! Francois & Anna Lisa
Mediocre 3.3
Pros: Not much only clean ocen was the advantage. It is place for people who prefers to stay far away for civilisation willing to compromise on quality. There was not much to admire. We left just after two days instead of a week due to offensive approach of the owner.
Cons: to our surprise the owner whom we never met (communicates only via emails) was totally uncooperative accusing us of racism when we complained about quality of service and food. The place is expensive and you cannot simply eat in other place due to distance. While at the sea fish dishes ares not available for lunch you are forced to accept spaghetti bolognaise food style... bungalows are bearing signs of age and are full of inspects as nice memory my daughter was diagnosed with malaria one week after return....
Okay 4.5
Pros: environment
Cons: The are not so as I wanted it
Excellent 9.5
Pros: Fabulous view! Beautiful modern hotel, great food.
Cons: Beach was not great for swimming. Had issue with hot water - please sort it out. Also specify what facilities are available in the booking. Our rooms never had outdoor pool/shower as described. But still, a fantastic place!
Excellent 9.5
Pros: - relaxed, unpretentious lodge in an isolated but idyllic location - staff was genuine and friendly - the meals were delicious and served with a flair - stunning sunrises - lovely bungalows - amazing beach

Excellent 9.5
Pros: We loved our stating , everything is ok.
Cons: Nothing
Good 6.5
Cons: Their plates were often dirty and weren’t cleaned properly. The bathroom towels were also not clean. Moreover, we waited for an hour to get our food.
Good 7.0
Pros: The hotel is a short taxi ride from the airport 500 meticals and is located on the beach. The beach is small but the nicer beach is around the bay. The hotel has plenty of pools around the premises. The food is good. Breakfast is a large buffet in a beautiful location and dinner is in the restaurant at the far end of the complex. I recommend the prawns in lemon and butter. The rooms are nicely furnished , good AC and a TV with a good selection of channels if you like movies and sport.
Cons: I stayed hear twice, to and from Ibo island. The first time for reasons I will never understand they put me in the room in most disrepair . The hotel must have been only 10% full and they put me in a room With roof tiles missing above the balcony (room 409) and floor tiles loose. The second time they were kind enough to upgrade me but was disappointed by the cleanliness.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The friendly staff and the amazing food at Club Naval. The room was very modern and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the swimming pools and the fact that there were four of them. A very relaxing holiday.
Cons: The beaches and town around the resort are really shabby and need taken care of. Besides this the experience was great.

Good 7.5
Pros: The beach view
Cons: The AC was bad..the air is smelly
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Located in front of the Sea. Near to Airport.
Cons: Didn't get hot water..
Good 7.5
Pros: Relaxing atmosphere
Cons: Beach not clean
Good 6.8
Pros: The hotel is very close to the airport right on the beach, this is why we chose it. We enjoyed the pool area and the sun beds, the restaurant was always open for any needs and the night atmosphere was engaging. Bed very confortable.
Cons: The bungalow was fitted with simple forniture, however some need maintenance. The breakfast included was only one dish and it would be much more appreciated to have at least 2 choices. The beach in front of the hotel is not the cleanest, however, we understand this is not the hotel fault.
Okay 5.8
Pros: The breakfast was nice! but should be better
Cons: The chicken for takeaway must be improved otherwise will eat outside.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Location was excellent. The pool and restaurant area were awesome. The boardwalk to and from hotel was nice and was secure at night with securitt guards. Room service was efficient and very good. Staff was responsive to issues. Laundry was free ( amazing bonus.) Free breakfast was also pretty good. Great owner. Great atmosphere at night. Fresh calamari! (Hard not to be with the ocean right there)
Cons: My shower was terrible...almost scary. My air con started leaking and flooded my room on my 4th night. The bungalow common areas were quite sparse. My shuttle from airport wasn't at arrivals despite 2 follow up confirmations so had to take a cab.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Comfort, cleanliness, facilities, staff, location. Everything.
Cons: Nothing. And I can be critical.
Excellent 8.8
Cons: Wi-fi was on and off
Good 7.0
Pros: The common area at the restaurant is super nice, breakfast is great and the views to the beach amazing.
Cons: Bungalows have a lot of things that are not working, from spent lightbulbs to leaking showers to crumbling plaster on the walls. Felt overpriced for what's on offer.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: good breakfast with a nice view from the restaurant, infinite pool; rooms with balconies, shuttle to the airport
