4.8 Okay
Pros: terrific locale -- right in the heart of downtown Petosey. It's walkable to shops and restaurants.
Cons: the amenities, furniture and rooms left much to be desired. Yes, it's a boutique hotel, but it felt like my wife and I had broken into a 100 year old woman's attic and were sleeping on a family heirloom straw bed. Nothing was comfortable (or clean). The TV was smaller and older than my parents' computer monitor. I'm not sure what my $250+ "deal" paid for.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I really enjoyed the comfort of the bed and the pillows. It was a beautiful room and the attention to detail was perfect! They really did everything they could think of to make the room as comfortable as possible. I also loved the "thickness" of the towels!
6.2 Good
Pros: The staff was extremely friendly which I do appreciate. Nice aesthetic, gorgeous garden area. Parking was good.
Cons: The bed was uncomfortable. Granted I have a pinched nerve in my lower back and bad neck muscle spasms. The pillows were alright, but the bed hurt my back. I slept maybe 6 hours broken up 1st night and I normally sleep 8. Woke up with a sore back. The second night I slept under 5 hours all broken up. So by day 3 I was grouchy because I need my sleep. The food served in the morning offered with the breakfast vouchers was left overs from previous day. They shouldn’t serve stale bread to someone paying almost $200 a night on a bouncy ball material made bed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is her second time here. We brought my inlaws with us and got them a room also. I love that all of the rooms are different with their own touches. The view of the bay is awesome. You feel like you went back in time 100 years staying here. When we were here in the summer they had the bar open on the patio but that was closed this time so we sat on the big porch outfront and had a great time
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Perry is a great old hotel experience. Just a wonderful spot in an amazing town.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: History was evident. Well maintained. Easy to get to. Walking distance to shops.
Cons: They had a large group rent their main lobby and restaurant. Noisy! Took away the quaint.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and clean.
4.8 Okay
Pros: The location was nice.
Cons: The hotel is very very dated. It feels cheap and like they took it straight from 1985. For the price...I would suggest to find another location. I booked online so it came with a fee to cancel. So more or less I was stuck with what I got.
5.4 Okay
Cons: No elevator. Cracked tiles and tub.

9.7 Excellent
Pros: All staff, a.m. p.m. shifts were excellent, very friendly.
Cons: Calling the room bay view was a stretch, you could see it in the distance but saw more of the building's roof next door and their rooftop equipment.
5.4 Okay

Cons: Pool had WAY too much chlorine. Our room was right off the communal fathering area and was quite noisey

Pros: the only thing that I can see is the rooms were a bit dated but I was impressed with the cleanliness and that matters the most to me. The continental breakfast and food availability was awesome. Definitely where I will stay next time in Petoskey
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, nice room for the price, close to downtown
6.2 Good
Pros: Friendly staff.
Cons: Small bathroom. Not enough tables to accommodate everyone in the cafeteria.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was very clean and well maintained. Lots of reading material around the room, such as various lists and instructions on how to do things like turn the heat on, that were kind of cute. They also had some neat features, that we didn't end up using but sound like nice perks,,like dvds to rent for a dollar, popcorn and cookies in the lobby, and free dining area. The location is also a definite perk being only a 15 minute drive away from Boyne Mountain.
Cons: Shampoo and soap in bathroom are in little dispensers that only dispensed a tiny amount. They may have been almost empty, but I would bring my own next time.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Location was awesome and staff were excellent. Attached restaurant was also very good. Would go again.
Cons: Bathroom layout terrible. It looks like the toilet was an afterthought. You can sit on the throne and brush your teeth over the sink at the same time. Small TV for large room. Not many channels and no on screen guide, so who knows what your watching. All the room doors seem to slam very easily. Heard them slamming constantly.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Price, location and breakfast being available
Cons: I had difficulty regulating the heat. I would prefer a bar of soap to the dispenser which would not dispense soap.

7.1 Good
Pros: Pool, hot tub, and sauna were great. Beds were very comfortable.
Cons: We woke up to the smell of marijuana at 4am. Had to run the bathroom fan all night and open the window. Staff just said sorry. We were surprised that they didn't offer us any compensation for the bad experience.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: A good night sleep. Hotel is under renovation.
5.7 Okay
Pros: Really good TV, several movie channels available. Wifi worked well, bed was comfortable with a good pillow selection. Lots of soft fluffy towels and enough soap.
Cons: Musty smell to the room, probably related to the concrete-block foundation and carpeting. Mildew on the ceiling in the shower area. Hair dryer didn't work; response when I reported this to the front desk was a useless "gosh darn it!" Breakfast was all donuts & muffins with some juice and coffee. Went elsewhere to eat :-/ Disappointing view - Petoskey and the Bay blocked by buildings across the street.
