I loved their location and the vintage feel the old building gave.
It would have been great to get an idea of the history of the building and why it was still standing after so many years.
For the location, the price is pretty good
This hotel is a dump. Some people call it character, but that's nonsense. You don't automatically get to say something has character just because it's in an old building. Dirty carpets, broken down beds, busted blinds, missing ceiling tiles, leftover dirty laundry from previous guests, showers that don't drain, and a staff that's only there a third of the day are not "character" features. They're poor maintenance issues. Don't go here unless you're strapped for cash and plan on spending very little time in the room
the location was perfect for seeing the city
it was quite loud, the payment process is sketchy (pay at a convenience store down the street)
Location was perfect in the Olde City of Phildelphia. One block away from Independence hall.
You can hear everything, the wall were thin.
The location was in the heart of the Old City District.
The room was very small and did not seem to fit the rate.
This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at!!
The room was unclean, cramped, paint peeling off the walls, mold in the bathroom and not cleaned until we complained. No elevator!
Very loud music from restaurant downstairs
