The Staff are incredible! Every single staff member from the front desk, to valet and cleaning personnel are smiling and eager to please. The hotel itself is stunningly beautiful. There was a floral arrangement in the foyer with at least 6 dozen long stem roses. amazing. The rooms are clean, large and outfitted with every amenity a traveler needs.
Swimming pool, sauna, Turkish bath.
I loved the facilities, great gym, spa and pool Prices for food are way out of line. A juice was $10! Breakfast was $21 the cheapest one and not even Buffett. You could hear buses running by just outside the window, partying on the mezzanine was so loud you could hear the bass in the room.
Staff was very nice Didn't feel the cost was worth the stay not sure if I would stay there again at her hotels closer that are just as nice and less expensive
JW Marriott Quito is an excllent hotel in all aspects. The staff are very polite and they are always available for suggestions. The restaurants are great specially for La Hacienda. The room is clean, big and very beautiful. The executive lounge has excellent food and it is very comfortable. I really recommend JW Marriott Quito.
This hotel had fabulous rooms! The beds were very comfortable with European styel duvet covers and lovely pillows. The bathroom was all granite, good shower. The soaps, towels, linens were all spa quality, very nice. It was spacious, and extremely clean. Seemed like it was freshly remodeled. I travel constantly and stay in a lot of places, this is one of the very nicest hotels I have ever stayed in.\n\nHaving said that, I did not pay (it was part of a package) so I am not sure about the cost/value.
We were completely satisfied with our check-in, room and dining experience here. Our twin bedded room was spacious and on the 12th and 10th floors (two stays). Now that I've tried the travel agency once very successfully I expect to use them again. They provide free vans to the airport at certain hours, which we could take advantage of!
Just a $5 taxi fare from the airport (or free hotel shuttle) the Hilton is located in the New City but within walking distance of the Old City. \n\nThe staff at reception were friendly and helpful, as was the concierge.\n\nPricey for the region, but worth it for a bit of luxury.
Did not pick us up at the airport. We arrived in Quito at 10:30 pm and van driver said they only picked up Delta flyers. We arrived on United. We took a taxi. They stored our bags for us the next morning for our meeting and allowed us to collected them later.
Good location, spacious room, friendly staff. No moisturizing cream available.
It was luxurious but there were many things that needed repair or cleaned. There wasn't good lighting in the hall way, Jacuzzi wasn't working, the hotel mentions they have a casino but its not true the casino was taken out 3 years ago. I want my money back.
location is great. executive suite was so small, we didn't have a dresser to keep our clothes.
Very close to the airport (less than 3 minutes by car) Excellent and spacious rooms. Quiet and clean. Excellent breakfast.. Very friendly personnel. Nothing..
Great short term stay if you are catching an early flight the next day
Close to airport, reasonable cost Nothing
Very close to the airport and convenient when arriving late or flying out early
Cleanliness, good staff, comfortable beds. Bar prices were "through the roof" expensive. Coffee packet had only one coffee and one cup. Not all advertised health facilities were open or available. Others rooms in party got complimentary breakfast, but we did not.
The Hotel was clean and in a good location. It was also a reasonable price. They charged for Wi-Fi and did not provide a free breakfast. The staff was moderately friendly, but was not super helpful with respect to information about the area. You can probably find something for the same price with more amenities.
Great location! Nice breakfast and coffee available 24/7. Beautiful relaxing hotel and rooms.
Although I made an online reservation, the front desk attendant decided that he would give priority to other people who walked in and paid him cash. They did not give any reasoning why they did not think my online reservation was valid and simply dismissed us. I was left stranded with my significant other having to look for a different hotel. If you are in Old Quito, I would recommend Hotel San Francisco, which is just down the block from this one.
the cable tv and the excellent hot shower no
Breakfast was nice, served in a beautiful setting with a view of the city. Good location, close to LaRonda for nice restaurants and shopping and sightseeing. It's noisy in the mornings because most rooms face the enclosed courtyard and you can hear the guests leaving for breakfast and checking out. Not a good hotel for sleeping in.
location ok, great staff, taxi to airport never showed up arranged by hotel, hot water an issue, noisy rooms can hear everything out side from other guests. old
Location was very good and staff were friendly and helpful. Design of hotel caused it to be noisy sometimes but after midnight it was quiet.
The hotel was comfortable and very clean. The staff was helpful. It is located in Quito's old section and very close to many of the sites we wanted to see. The courtyard in the center of the building was a nice quiet place to relax. The hotel provided eveerything we needed-- comfortable beds, hot water, a good breakfast and free wi-fi. I was sorry that there wasn't a restaurant in the hotel. (The information I received when I made the reservations said that there was.) Quito is not very safe at night and we didn't feel comfortable going out at night. The hotel has a refrigerator and we were able to use that which helped.
This is a colonial-style building completely refurbished as a hotel in the old city, with an extremely willing staff. Hotel pick-up at the airport was handled very well, even though my plane was several hours late (after midnight). Staff very helpful and anxious to please, and they do not charge for using their computers in the patio (Business Center) There is no elevator, and you have to go up to the 4th floor for breakfast, which can be a real feat given the altitude of Quito, at least the first couple of days. They serve only breakfast. Although there are several restaurants a couple of blocks away, I wished I could have eaten something at night, say, right in the hotel or closer by. Single room was very small (but very new and well-maintained), and the closet pole was out of reach, 7 feet up or more.
