Pros: Everything is home and hand made, lovely people
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Where to start? .. We had a perfect stay at this family owned lodge. They serve good meals (lunch & dinner) at a very reasonable price. They have amenities for kids to keep them active. They have instagrammable decors and interiors. The owners and staff are genuinely friendly, always checking up on you whenever you see them if you were having a great time. We stayed here for a total of 4 nights spread out in a week and we sure glad that we did. Please stay at Zaysant if you want a relaxing experience. They are for real.
Cons: Not applicable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were welcomed to Zaysant by Gerardo and Zayra as if we were part of their family; their hospitality was second to none! In fact, we felt so at home that we stayed an extra night! Our room was spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. It had a lovely local feel with all the wooden furniture. The grounds are beautiful and teeming with humming birds, making it the perfect place to relax whilst being within easy reach of both Quito and the airport. Additional plus points were the delicious homemade breakfasts and safe and reliable transfer service, which we used both to and from the airport. This is a great option for pre- or post-flight but stay an extra night or two if you can, it’s well worth it!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location near the Quito airport was perfect. The travel warning from Felipe was very important to us. He went out of his way to get us to Quito and meet our travel group. When it looked like our tour might end early, we WOULD have contacted Chapelet Hostel for another visit. Felipe could not have been a better host!
Cons: The stay was perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Felipe was very patient and waited over an hour for me when he picked me up at the airport. It was very busy with lots of flights arriving. The food was delicious at breakfast, and Felipe’s daughter is a wonderful cook. The hostel is located just minutes away from the airport. It has a delightful view from the second floor lounge and an on-site restaurant with economical Ecuadorian and fast foods. I will definitely return here the next time I need to travel through Quito.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I highly recommend this place Sr Felipe is going out of his way to please pickup at the aeroport always in time If you have a stop between plane or an early flight this is the place
Cons: absolutely nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Felipe and his daughters are friendly and amazing. They're just starting out in the tourism industry. Everything is new/renovated. Felipe very graciously drove one of us to the airport in the middle of the night at 1.30am, the other at 8am. Pays to set your alarm, not sure if we missed the wakeup call. The hostel is part of a vegetable farm, very relaxing airport stopover. Nice dinner menu, very reasonably priced. Felipe even entertained us with his guitar. Daughters speak English, Felipe is learning. Excellent value for money. I wish them every success.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hostel is located near the airport which is convenient if you are flying. The hostel offers airport pick up & drop off for USD $5 each way bit they need advance reminders. The owners are friendly with big smiles & the daughter speaks good English. The room is modern & very clean. There is a spacious communal sitting area with hot & cold water available. There don’t appear to be many restaurants in the area but the hostel offers basic meals at USD$6 - 7. Not sure if they are cheap for Ecuador (having only just landed in Ecuador). The wifi is rather slow, sometimes taking up to several minutes to open an email. The shower had great flow & was hot (always a bonus). The bed & pillow were super comfortable. Breakfast consisted of delicious fresh fruit juice, fresh strawberries & kiwi fruit, hot ham & cheese roll, herbal tea & coffee. While we ate breakfast, the owner played the guitar & whistled Simon & Garfunkel (Mrs Robinson) & The Animals (The House of Rising Sun).
9.2 Excellent
Pros: In a quiet neighborhood. Close to airport. Secured property. They have food made to order, no need to go out. Host provides transport service. Host prepares and provides quick breakfast to go if you have to leave early before their serving time. So nice of them!
Cons: Can be loud if there are other patrons around.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to airport, tasty breakfast, clean rooms. Felipe was lovely - super helpful and friendly.
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The owner is very nice and diner was perfect! For a small fee the owner can bring you to the airport.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed one night at Quito Polo Club to have easy access to the airport, alternatively, it could also serve as a great base for staying in Quito for leisure. It was an absolutely great choice. Wonderful green landscaped grounds, very spacious clean, comfortable and stylish rooms. Common areas were stylishly decorated as well and access to the horses and barns of the polo club were a fab plus. Tasty, wonderful breakfast. Great bar area and restaurant. We highly recommend staying here!
Cons: The kitchen seemed to be struggling the night we had dinner as it took a while to get our food out. A minor niggle but perhaps something to look for at for improvement.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is beautiful and cozy. The staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. The food at the hotel restaurant is delicious.
Cons: When I booked the hotel, I thought it was close to the airport. It is not. It's about a 30 mins drive.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was absolutely amazing. By far some of the best service we have ever received. Everyone did their best to make any wish possible. The rooms are gorgeous. And the grounds are beautifully maintained. We enjoyed the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. For those that are looking for city life around them, this is not the place. It is fairly removed from a lot, but therein lies its special beauty.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My wife arrived during the unusual transport strike. Many people were stuck in the airport. Hotel staff pulled a "rabbit out of their hat" and were able to shuttle her to the hotel. I had arrived a day ahead so watched this unfold at the Polo Club. Our unexpected extended stay was very comfortable with a great attentive staff. Heated lap pool was a big plus

7.5 Good
Pros: Good location if you want to stay over close to Quito airport for 1 night
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, clean room, near to the airport, beautiful and tranquil grounds
Cons: If arriving late at night make sure to ring both buzzers as it was a little difficult figuring out how to get in and the street is very empty at night.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The garden is very nice, the rooms are spacious.
Cons: There was no hot water in the shower, and when we ask them to mend it the girl at the reception laughed, said it's because it's solar-heated and since the fay was cloudy it's not their fault. After further requests, we were moved yo another room, only to find there is almost no water pressure at all. Finally, during the night, we were moved to a third room with boiling OR freezing water, and we took a shower. In the following day, we asked them if we can put our luggage for safe-keeping, since our flight was later in the evening, they refused because "they have a holiday and we must respect it", despite our request (and their approval) in the day before. Althogh we tried to come up with a solution (keep us locked here so we can stay until you return, etc.), they refused and advised us to "go to Quito", with our bags and gringo look, and "yeah it's safe to wander like that in the streets of Quito". At least they gave us the money they charged for the shuttle back, since with couldn't use it anymore. We ended up sitting in a nice pizzeria who sdid work although it was a holiday, only to find out the claim we didn't check-in so they can renounce their behavior.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I have often stayed here one or two nights when passing through Quito Airport. Lovely helpful owner, super clean, super peaceful super comfy and lovely breakfast . Highly recommended .
Cons: No improvement needed.

Cons: The shower is hard to use. Pool is too cold to use.

7
9.3 Excellent (122 reviews)

Featured amenities include a business center, express check-out, and dry cleaning/laundry services. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary (available 24 hours).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property is beautiful and well-maintained, with various hiking trails, an observation tower with fabulous views, and a lovely porch surrounded by hummingbird feeders. The hacienda itself is filled with character, and our room was very comfortable. The best part of our stay was getting the opportunity to spend time with the owner, Daniel Cruz. He’s a beautiful soul who is passionate about conservation and who is extremely knowledgeable; his family has lived in the area for many generations and we enjoyed learning about the history of Ecuador from Daniel. Simone, Daniel’s sons and the staff were all wonderful too. We felt as though we were saying goodbye to old friends when we left.
Cons: The occasional plane flying overhead was a reminder that you were not that far from Quito, but don’t let that deter you from experiencing this wonderful hacienda.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hiking the property and seeing the llamas.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a wonderful place! We only stayed one night having been in the Galapagos before our flight back home and wished we’d had a night or 2 longer in this gorgeous hacienda. We stayed in the spacious suite “Cotopaxi”, with its huge comfortable bed and incredible shower, it was nice to get properly cleaned up before our flight home! We loved walking around the trails spotting birds and meeting the llamas, we only wish we’d had more time. Dinner, breakfast and lunch in the restaurant was delicious, the staff very obliging.
Cons: Having to leave too soon!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Hotel property is a spectacular private natural preserve as advertised and restaurant food and service generally of a high standard (except at lunch).
Cons: Generally very enjoyable 3 day stay partly spoiled by very costly and unhelpful airport transfer options provided by the hotel in its quite remote location. We had to arrange for our own taxi through a third party tour guide when the hotel would only offer a prohibitive rate of more than quadruple (4 times) the standard fare that we eventually paid!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Gardens and helpful, friendly staff
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was the most tranquil place I’ve ever stayed. It’s as if you’ve been transported to your own hacienda far from the hustle and bustle of the city ( and it’s actually only 10 minutes from the airport.) There are trails galore, llamas to feed, nooks and crannies, verandas and patios to relax and take In the countless hummingbirds and other species. I felt as if I had taken time out of travel craziness to really enjoy life and peace. The staff made us feel as if we were family. We will definitely be back - probably just to stay here!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great place near the airport, only 15 minutes drive, good for stopovers with early departures or to avoid the traffic in Quito City. Beautiful garden area with trails and hummingbirds. Recommended to book a private excursion to see the condors in Antisana NP, the owner is very experienced in finding them. Very helpful staff and family members for all questions regarding your trip around Quito and Ecuador.
Cons: Limited vegetarian food options
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The gardens were beautiful and we loved that there was a wide choice of communal sitting areas (inside and out). Enjoyed visiting the llamas to feed them carrots. The evenings were cool so it was lovely to fall asleep in front of a crackling fire in our room. The staff are excellent. We stayed several nights, which is unusual as this hotel is usually used as a stopover for one night on the way to the Rainforest or Galapagos. We enjoyed meeting new people each evening as they passed through and we felt we had made the right choice to rest up for a few days here. It felt like our home from home.
Cons: Would have been good to have two comfortable chairs in our room (we took it in turns to sit on the rocking chair provided) and cushions would have made the wooden balcony chairs a more inviting option. The hotel is close to the new airport and under the flightpath, although we were not disturbed by the planes it could impact some people.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: - Carla was so helpful. Responses are almost instant and she was very friendly and helpful throughout my stay - Place is a short ride from the Quito International Airport, perfect for an overnight layover which I had - Room was spacious and comfortable - It was raining when I arrived so didn't want to go out for food. Had dinner at the hostal and it was delicious and great value - Beautiful view out of the balcony to the mountains and a comfy hammock to admire the view and recharge - Two very friendly dogs in the grounds to greet you
Cons: - Had a little mishap / perhaps miscommunication. I had 5am flight so had asked for 3.15am taxi ride. However, I waited until 3.30 and no one had arrived. There was around 10-15min of increasing panick as I tried to get one of the girls to get up; fortunately they did eventually and i made it to the airport by 3.50am at the end with 10min before the check in counter closed - so all was well at the end. But do make sure that you take the taxi driver's number or have a back up plan in case you are taking the same 5am flight!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Not too far from the airport. Taxi ride to hotel, $10.
Cons: Very rustic & traditional, and comfortable. Can you some outlet to charge more than 2 devices in room. Great hot water.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Staff were so lovely and accommodating and the bed was so comfy and cosy!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Pretty property with large garden, outdoor pool and jacuzzi. Room was clean and had a cool mural on the wall, bed was comfortable, shower was hot and soaps/shampoos smelled great!
Cons: The restaurant and “bar” were closed on Sunday, but there was delicious food in town (a 5-minute walk away).
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very helpful. We were walked into town to be shown a good restaurant (and it was really good: can recommend Ruta 66 in Yaruqui), and then walked back after we had eaten. The room was very nice and had great views and its own balcony with a hammock. Breakfast was good, although the coffee wasn't to my taste.
Cons: The location was not what we were expecting. Can't blame the hotel for this, but it is in a rather quiet town with limited facilities. Taxi driver needed some guiding to find it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property close to the airport. The staff is extremely nice and professional. They will arrange your airport transfer, which is a nice bonus when flying in late. Food and diner especially was delicious. Room comfortable and spacious. Really great value for money.
Cons: Maybe more opaque curtains in the rooms would be good, as there was quite a strong street light visible from the bed. Keep in mind that the location is great if you want to be close to the airport (which was our case), but the hotel is quite far from the center of Quito.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good spot close to the airport. Comfortable facilities. Lovely host. Beautiful garden and 2 friendly dogs to hang out with.

Pros: I spent 2 nights at the hotel waiting for my flight, hoping to reach the airport in all the turmoil of the protests in Ecuador. The owner and family took very good care of the guests. The hotel is a peaceful oasis near the airport. The Ecuadorian dishes are delicious, the restaurant has a cozy vibe and the rooms are equipped with everything you need to be comfortable. I can highly recommend Quinta Natura Hotel!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Patricio and his son Emiliano are perfect hosts. They speak English very well which made the stay even more relaxed for me as I speak only the basic Spanish. Besides them being very friendly, the stay is a great value for money. It is a bit further from the airport by car than advertised, but still only 20 minutes or so. The room was clean and good. I do recommend Quinta Natura hotel.
6.3 Good
Pros: The nice garden, the football field
Cons: It is 16 km from the airport not 4.5km as stated by booking. The dinner was too expensive. It included just a main course, not even a starter, desert it coffee.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property is gorgeous and really quiet. We stayed there only one night on our way out of Quito. We wished we could have stayed much longer. We got to talk with the owner's son and learned a lot about the property and about Ecuador. We were there during serious riots and we're amazed at the kindnesses of the people who helped us during a really difficult time. We will definitely come back to the hotel and to learn more from this family about visiting the Galapagos islands. The family is from there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner and staff were very nice. Rooms were nice size beds were also comfortable.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Personnel were friendly but lacking in English.
Cons: Listed as 3.9 stars. More like. 2 star businessmens motel. Room had no windows (basement) mosquitos were ravenous in the room. Arranged for airport pickup which never came. It is so out of the way that no taxi driver could find it. Finally took 45 mins and multiple stops for directions and phone calls, to find it . I was very glad to leave.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stay in this hotel because of proximity to the airport. But it turn to be very nice family owned property. It has a beautiful recently renovated rooms. Our room was with Jacuzzi. Garden around and landscaping with in ground small swimming pool was just an amazing. Owner is very friendly and accommodating. Hotel has a transportation service so ask for it if you in need. I will recommend this hotel to every one. The only negative was when we get there only method of payment accepted by hotel was CASH money.
Cons: Only cash payments
5.8 Okay
Pros: Close to the airport
Cons: The crew is not nice, and it feels like they try to cheat you with price Where they can. The rooms Are small, and not confortable. Weekest wifi ever.
7.9 Good
Pros: Was a welcome refuge from the protests in Quito and allowed me to get my Flight to Peru. The staff particularly the owners son were very helpful.
Cons: I booked and paid for single occupancy of a room with two double beds. Initially they put me in a room with three double beds and said I would have to share. I protested and eventually got a room with one double bed and no discount. To be fair Ecuador was in a state of emergency and because of flight cancellations lots of people due to leave had stayed on. Overall pretty satisfactorily.

Pros: Very clean nice rooms with hot water and TV with english! There was also a nice yard to play in with the kids in. Once we were greeted at the gate, the host was very helpful including helping us order dinner in, allowing us to have an early breakfast prior to our early am flight, and
Cons: The taxi dropped us off and left before anyone answered at the gate. We rang the bell nearly 5 minutes before someone let us in. Once we were in it was fine - but we felt very stranded until the gate was answered.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The price is awesome, the cleanliness is perfect, and the property is nice to walk around, especially if you have a camera - hummingbirds, kestrels, flowers, a creek, and pollitos! (chicks). The price includes breakfast, and they will pack it to go if you have an early flight. This is great layover place, with access to taxis, or even bus to the airport, if you are a more skilled traveler. I have stayed here several times over the last 2-3 years. Several places to eat within a 5 min walk.
Cons: If you have never been here, the taxi drivers dont know where it is, and the sign is dark. You cant see it from the highway. Directions to tell them and price - $3 if you are willing to wait for a new taxi to enter from the airport - waiting taxis cost $6, because they have to pay the airport parking after 15 minutes. Tell them to enter Tababela, and it is the first right. From there when the road turns left, see the sign that says HOTEL on the right, on the pole, and go right instead of left, it takes you down. Another way to describe it is under the walking bridge leaving the airport. They will also hold luggage while you visit one day trips, before you flight.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel has a very good location, close to the airport (5 min by taxi or by bus). The bus stop is just in front of the hotel on the motorway (bus is 0,50 dollar). The owners are very kind, the room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the breakfast very tasty! Moreover it is built in an old moulin (molino) and it gives to this place a special feature. I higly recommand this place for 1 night before or after the flight!!
Cons: Nothing. Even if the motorway is just nearby, you can't hear any noise when you're in the room. Very quiet to sleep and relax before or after your flight.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Close to the airport $10 taxi one way. They called a taxi for us in the morning- it was a good help. We do not speak Spanish.
Cons: Owners do not speak English at all. Bathroom is very old and rusty. Not clean. Extremely small place. It is hard to walk in the room. I am small person 5”2 115 lb. linens and all bed covers are not clean. We slept in our clothes and on the top of the cover. I even put towel i had with me over my pillow We had a breakfast included in our rate, but had to leave at 4:30 am - to catch a flight to Galapagos. The host did not even offer us s coffee.
7.1 Good
Pros: Close to airport (5’ driving) Easy to park your car just infront the hotel Staff ok
Cons: Location not easy to find at first
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice place with a pool table to enjoy. Near to the airport which was ideal as we had a flight the following day and there were risks of road blockages in the city.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly place. Opposite to the bus station from where frequent buses take you for 50 cents to the airport
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I love staying here, super close, great price, and very quiet. They are very flexible with the check out time. I had an early flight to Galapagos and they packed my breakfast to go - including juice! I love that they leave a bottled water in your room for your arrival. I have stayed here 5 times now, and it just keeps getting better. Excellent location if you want to take the green bus into Quito, and save a bunch of money on a taxi. Great hosts.
Cons: My only complaint for this place has always been the same - they need better lighted signage both on the airport connector road and at the entrance. I know how to get there, and I still have trouble getting the taxi driver to pull in or find it. You just cant see it at night, and many of the taxi drivers do not know Tababela well.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Delicious breakfast - fresh juice, fresh baked bread, cheese, eggs, and tea. Much better than last year. I also love the property, lots of flowers and birds to discover with your camera.
Cons: They could use some better lighting at night, it is a little hard to find at night if you havent been here before.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very excellent location and perfecto price Very kind staff, highly recommened

2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Only dogs present in this construction site
5.8 Okay
Pros: We were somewhat disappointed with this hostal. Firstly, they didn’t acknowledge our request for an airport pickup. We eventually rang them & they wanted to charge USD$15 to pick us up from the airport. They told us to get a taxi for a cheaper price (we paid $10 which was still tourist price). We gave them our flight details, so they knew when we were due to arrive. The sign for the hostal was very dimly lit but fortunately the taxi found the way there. There is a very long driveway to the hotel at the back. There was no bell to ring but after the dogs barked very loudly for 5 minutes someone came to unlock the gates & let us in. The room was very clean, the beds & pillows very, very firm. The shower worked well after eventually figured out how to use it. The wifi connection was inconsistent. The staff were reasonably friendly & spoke very basic English. Breakfast was just edible & consisted of a hot ham & cheese roll, an omelette, banana, orange cordial, tea & coffee. Apparently there is a bus to the airport nearby but we paid the hostal the $10 to take us back the next morning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hostel was a revelation! The room was HUGE, with a vibrantly colorful painted mural of Lonesome George on the long wall, that was bare except for the big-screen television. A refrigerator and a little café-table and pair of chairs made it possible to fix little snacks for noshing in the night and to chill the libations bought from the nearby markets. The comfortable queen-sized bed, and state-of-the-art showerhead and hot water was the bomb for me, and definitely not "the norm" during the 2 years I spent traveling and living in Ecuador. My 2-night stay at this hostel felt more like a hotel penthouse than a cheap twelve-bucks-a-night backpacker's hostel. The price alone should make El Obraje Quito-Airport one of the most exquisite bargains in Ecuador. Everything in this place is sparkling and new, and clean: the hostel is a statement of elegant simplicity and the service is stellar. The hostel is still being built, but to say that it's "undergoing construction" would be unfair: the rooms are being finished, and are still "a work in progress" with lot of attention to detail, and aesthetic appeal, but the ongoing labor is silently invisible and barely noticeable to the guest. The credit for this savvy success belongs to owners Benjamin and Jennifer, a young couple who live with their small son and 2 dogs on the expansive property that boasts gardens and lawns and a tiny café-style restaurant. They're friendly, welcoming hosts, who are eager to assist and serve their guests, including cooking and serving their guests a continental-style breakfast in the morning. Only 20 minutes from the Quito bus terminal and it's close proximity to the Quito Airport should place El Obraje Quito-Airport on every traveler's radar. This is absolutely the Quito-connection!
Cons: The only thing that could be better is if I won the lottery and could invite everyone I know to this hostel, I'd fly them to Quito and pay for their rooms at El Obraje, and give Benjamin and Jennifer a huge tip!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was so nice! Very large room and the hot shower was amazing.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The family accepted our reservation on a short notice and drove us to the airport for $10 next morning early. It was about 15 minute drive to/ from airport. The bed was comfy and clean. Reasonably quiet
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were great, although did have a bit of trouble getting the hot water going. The owners were great sorting this out at 10pm. Great breakfast. Overall great one night airport stop over location.
Cons: Not really a 'not like', but our Uber driving struggled to find it. Could do with slightly better signage on the front fence.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very comfortable, and the murals are amazing. Each room has a mural painted by the owners' brother of different regions of Ecuador. We arrived around 10:00pm, and Benjamin and Jennifer were gracious and welcoming despite the late hour. Benjamin then drove us to the airport around 6:00am. If you want a local, eclectic, up-start place to lay your head rather than a regular airport hotel, this is your place.
Cons: There was a lingering, different aroma of cleaning supplies(?) when we arrived, but it dissipated quickly. Or perhaps I just got used to it! Regardless it did not impact my sleep whatsoever. And sleep was all I did--no towels or hygiene products to tempt me into the brand new shower. I woke refreshed and ready to go.

A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
6.3 Good
Pros: - Pool and hot Tub available (though hot tub was full of people, I think the owners friends, when we were there) - nice view and tranquil setting (see dislikes though) - timely transportation to airport arranged for us (not included like some similar hotels, taxi is same price) - we didn’t have breakfast so can’t rate that -shower was warm -helped us arrange dinner delivery (though took us 10 minutes to find them to help) -purified water available in lobby area We stayed at 3 different airport hotels in Quito and this was as expensive as any, but farther from airport and not quite as nice of a room That said if you really want a pool and to be off the main highway, this might be a fine choice.
Cons: - top bunk was very hard to get up on (no ladder) - roof of room seemed to shed onto beds (nice white duvets has dust/debris on them consistently ) -surprisingly loud - roosters and cows are very close And woke us up in am
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Really nice and helpful staff. Great meals. Cheap airport shuttle
Cons: Weak stream of hot water in the shower
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect if you’re going to/from the airport and don’t want to trek all the way out to Quito and back again, but also don’t want to spend money on one of the fancy hotels to do so. This family-run place is super pretty, the breakfast is great, and I loved getting to meet the family! They were extremely kind and helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! I booked this place without looking at it other than location and price as I just needed to get out of Quito due to protests. I stayed x2 nights at this place and had the best time. Hot tub, pool, great rooms and dorms, good breakfast, dinner,, staff. Perfect!!!!! Went on a walk with owners which was fun. Everything was perfect and owners are super helpful. Good place to stay and chill for a couple of days.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The four of us had to leave at 3.30 a.m. and the host drove us to the airport for a fair fee. Therefore, we had no breakfast. The host made us flavorful coffees when we arrived - a nice touch. The host had good English skills and a pleasant personality. We ate our delivered pizza in the common room which was a nice room. The host called our order in and would have arranged a taxi or whatever we needed - quite accommodating and willing to help.
Cons: While in Ecuador we always slept with the windows open. This hotel had a sticky window and no bug screen although the bugs were not terrible.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing hospitality and care.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Adorable friendly people, great rural location
Cons: Everything nice...
7.9 Good
Pros: The hotel is a beautiful old hacienda in a peaceful location. The pool and grounds were beautiful and great for the kids. The breakfast was good. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful.
Cons: The walls inside our room could have been cleaner. There is a very small quiet town walking distance away with a few restaurants but nothing else to do if you need to spend a whole day there. Perfect for resting.

The taxi service was included and he was on time, safe and only took 15 minutes. The kind woman got up to make sure at 3am for my departure and provided me with a packed breakfast - amazing service. The price was excellent and I would highly recommend this hotel!!!

Featured amenities include a business center, express check-in, and a 24-hour front desk. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary (available on request).
7.0 Good
Pros: isolated location
Cons: We thought it was close to the airport. Still 20 plus minutes away on a rough road. It was still faster than going all the way to Quito. Once you are there you are isolated. 45 minutes by taxi to go anywhere.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful, rural location- peaceful and quiet yet convenient to the Quito airport. The hostess, Germany, was very welcoming and met our every need. We wish we could have stayed longer.
8.8 Excellent
Cons: This is the 2 nd time we were not picked up at the airport. We did let them know when and with which airline we would arrive, but they didn't check in with booking.com, they were only looking at their private in box.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff are very friendly and helpful. Lovely countryside location. Good complimentary airport shuttle. Rooms are big and comfortable. They offer transfers to and from Quito for sightseeing and other tours.
Cons: Hot water was unreliable. No choice for breakfast. Offered transfers to Quito or other tourist sites are slightly expensive and not always available.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: While a little remote and rustic it was so much more pleasant then any stay in a hotel. Beautiful property with views of the mountains and fields growing crops for their kitchen. Lots of trees, fruit and flowers, birds and truly nice people. I’ll stay here again.
Cons: Big hacienda style with lots of different seating and relaxing areas.
6.0 Good
Pros: Shuttle is free, there is a big pool. Rooms are big and roomy.
Cons: We stayed twice , because of convenience to Quito airport and each time I could smell the bedding had not been changed it seemed. The bedding did not smell fresh. In the middle of nowhere that's why I say : one night stay convenient airport shuttle ( 20 min).
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Overall everything was great
Cons: Further than I expected from the airport
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff at Hostería Country House Quinta Carlota is VERY polite and helpful. It was a real pleasure to stay and always to talk with them. They organized an interesting trip to the Mitad del Mundo- monument at a reasonable price for us and provided a complimentary airport transfer. The food is very tasteful and as well of reasonable prices. We'd be pleased to come back to Hostería Country House Quinta Carlota and highly recommend this lovely Guesthouse.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nada
Cons: Poorly cooked and expensive food with more flies than people in the restaurant. It is impossible to get a good nights sleep as due to the arrival of guests in the night, planes landing and taking off, use of rockets to clear runways and stray dogs barking. Proved impossible to get hot water to shower in the morning. Hotel claims it is 3.5 KM from airport but in reality is a 20 minute journey which cost $20 in an airport taxi. Reported the loss of my credit card asking the owner to revise if had given me back my credit card but he had no interest in trying to resolve the situation. One of the worst hotels I have stayed in anywhere in the world
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Super close to the airport and they provided shuttle service. Was there during the riots to make sure I get to the airport in time. Nice hostel and really relaxing spirit.
