Pros: I TRAVEL 125 NIGHTS A YEAR AND STAY IN NAME BRAND HOTELS 90% OF THE TIME SO GOING TO THIS STYLE MOTEL WAS NOT USUAL. THIS MOTEL IS THE MOST CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE PLACE I HAVE STAYED IN IN A LONG TIME. THE OWNERS WERE VERY PLEASANT I WILL STAY AGAIN!!!!!
Cons: NO..THIS PLACE WAS GREAT THE KITCHEN HAD EVERYTHING AND VERY CLOSE TO EVERYTHING THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT IT'S NOT ON THE OCEAN. YOU WILL HAVE TO WALK ACROSS THE STREET
Pros: The location was great! And the owner was wonderful! I also loved the room setup.
Cons: Needs more parking.
Pros: The owners were very nice and the motel was quaint and private, and the rooms were well equipped and very clean.
Pros: This hotel was exceptionally clean and had easy beach access. Just a few steps down and across the road, and I was on the beach. The owners made me feel more like a guest in their home than a visitor at a hotel.
Pros: An absolutely adorable motel. Very clean and in a great location. Would definitely stay there again. So much better than staying at the big box hotels.  the owner, was very nice and so helpful.
Pros: The hotel's location was awesome! Also, I was pleasantly surprised by the decor of the room and the size of it. The owners do a really good job of keeping it looking nice and clean. I liked the ease of the self check in as well.
Pros: The interior decorating and attention to detail was exceptional. The hotel is cozy and the foliage provides the right amount of privacy. We loved the pool.
Pros: owner - he was awsome
Pros: Loved the quaintness and personalized service.
Pros: clean, quiet,
Cons: Rooms very small and compact, noisy A.C which we turned off at night, a little overpriced considering service and amenities but overall no big deal, we enjoyed our stay
Pros: Fantastic little place. Wish we could have stay longer.
When you stay at Sea horse Motel, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Deerfield Beach Pier. Guests can take a dip in the outdoor pool, and freebies like WiFi and self parking are added perks. Rooms feature conveniences like refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: The owner is very friendly and the location can't be beat.
Cons: It is really, really old and no matter how they try to fix it up, it still is really dated. The floors were really dirty.
At Pelican By The Sea Motel, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Deerfield Beach Pier and Fort Lauderdale Stadium. Pros: Clean comfortable and quiet. Rooms well maintained and current. Close to beach and lots of stuff to do, land and sea.
Cons: On site food snack bar was limited, but sister Wyndham resort across the street has a better food vendor and a full bar.
Pros: Excellent staff. Very well managed exterior and interior.
Cons: Lighting in the rooms. Not enough.
Pros: Liked everything about this place. Great location, friendly people, clean facilities. Great view from room. I asked for a decent view when I arrived and it was accommodated. They have BBQ grills for the guest to use. I was able to put stuff on the grill and swim while I waited on food to get done. Didn't have to buy any dishes. They have plates, cups, forks, spoons, knifes, pots, pans, bowls, grill tongs, they thought of everything! I'll definitely stay here again. Also, I never write reviews but i felt this was worth the time.
Cons: No one came and cleaned my room everyday but I'm also an adult, so I know how to maintain livable conditions. Also they have everything you would need to clean up after yourself in the rooms. Really enjoyed my stay.

Pros: The location is prime and the beach access and water front facilities are so nice. Great staff and good sized rooms. No complaints.
Pros: Best resort I have been to in decades. Won't need to go anywhere else when in Florida. Reasonably priced and is a true 5-star resort. Best kept secret in Fort Lauderdale region. I can't wait to go back!
Cons: Shower was horrible.
Pros: The pool areas, the restaurant overlooking the beach, the beach access.
The food at the restaurant was quite good.
Pros: It was a nice hotel, very clean.
Cons: The service in the dining room and outside dining area was very much on island time. If you are not on a schedule then it would be fine.
Pros: Location, location, location- beautiful property directly on beach. Outdoor restaurant overlooking the ocean was beautiful. Food was okay and pricey.
Cons: Room was not well cleaned. No dressing mirrors in room other than in bathroom.
Pros: The outdoor restaurant with a view of ocean while eating. Good food
Cons: The room was small. The lounge chairs by the pool were wicker and very uncomfortable
Guests can enjoy sun and water activities steps from the front door, and the urban delights of downtown Fort Lauderdale are a 20-minute drive south. Golfers can tee off at Pompano Beach Municipal Golf Course 10 minutes away, and a 6-mile (10-km) drive leads to Hugh Taylor Birch State Park.
Cons: I was disappointed that they had no coffee in the rooms, none in the lobby, and I had to walk 4 blocks every morning for a cup of coffee. Management could care less
The only negative I have about our stay would be that you had to drive to eat or drink...only one small bar that served food that you could walk to that was within walking distance.
Pros: We were looking for location and it was great! The rooms were clean, and fairly spacious. The patio and pool area were clean and nice. Short walk to beach. Would be a great place for families with kids.
When you stay at Surf Side Resort, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Fort Lauderdale Stadium and Hugh Taylor Birch State Park. Guests can take a dip in the outdoor pool, and freebies like WiFi and self parking are added perks. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves.
Cons: Bugs flying and crawling, not comfortable cooking there
Pros: Room Interior
Pros: Gated security. It is located in a sketchy area
Cons: Much. Old rooms, no daily room service (replacement of coffee packets, etc). Dingy atmosphere
Pros: Check out.
Cons: Several, from sitting on the bet, the view was of a wall, standing looking directly out-you have a view of 2 walls. Kids yelling and running up and down the halls past 10:00 p.m.-some adults to. Trash sitting by the elevators every day.
Pros: Location was near family we were visiting.
Cons: Ants in the room and staff seemed unconcerned when requesting to change rooms. It took two requests. Also did not appreciate the immediate timeshare push upon check in.
Great for families. Pool, volley ball, golf, hot tub, shuttle to the beach.. brochures about other activities away from hotel. Spa on the premises.
Pros: I loved the rm.. Jacuzzi tub, huge shower, full kitchen cups, plates pots, utensils, mini dish liquid and washing powder included, washing machine and dryer, living rm,Long balcony.free parking
Cons: I had trouble with my balcony & rm door 668.it kept jamming up.They sent someone up but it didnt help. He did fix the balcony lock.Upon check out i had an unexplainable balance. The staff did not understand why. They told me they would email me but didnt
Pros: The quiteNess and privacy room was huge and awesome
Cons: My balcony was missing a rail did not come out to fix it in a timely manner
Pros: large room. nice jacuzzi tub and walk in shower. full kitchen with everything you would need to prepare a full meal. Gym had sufficient cardio equipment - bike, treadmill, eliptical.
Cons: At checkin, clerk could not find reservation. Carried on three conversations with other clerks and other customers, did not focus on me. HAD TO GO TO concierge (sales desk) in order to get a parking pass. They were very slow and phony.
Amenities and hotel itself are great. But be aware, as we weren't, that this is mainly a time share resort and 'hotel' 2nd.
Pros: The room and the location.
Cons: The concierge people REALLY pushed the timeshare aspect of the hotel on us even though we only booked it as a hotel stay. Didn't expect a high pressure sales pitch before we even left the lobby on check in.
the first room was nothing more than a souped up Motel 6. unsafe, not gated, not close to ANY of the immenities...terrible...would NEVER have stayed there with my children...or without for that matter!! Priceline mislead us in EVERY way.
Pros: the staff were incredibly helpful
Cons: when we got there, the room was NOT AT ALL what we thought we signed up for. we had to request a move. for the first night, they put the SIX of us in a one bedroom. the next day we were moved into a double like the one we had paid for.

Pros: The staff was unusually nice and helpful. From the maid, front desk, servers to pool staff...truly everyone we ran into met us with a big smile and willingness to help. The rooms and pool bathrooms were very clean. Beach is just a few steps from the pool and was beautiful. We will return.
Cons: I am cheap and spoiled by business travel but I was a bit annoyed that they didn't offer any Elite benefits - not even free coffee. Most hotels offer free coffee in the morning even for just a few hours. The breakfast buffet was a pricey $25/per for just the basic offering. Food quality on the other hand was great.
Pros: Hi close it was to everything. Great value and wonderful service
Pros: Location, pools, new rooms
Cons: This new hotel takes itself a too seriously for "Pompano Beach" (not near Lauderdale -I can say this because I live here) Valet-only for $25 -and they lost my car twice. One guy even questioned if I was "sure" it wasn't my gold SUV -I said I'm sure I don't own it. I've been recently to large world-class hotels that have better parking systems. Hotdogs and burgers by pool for $16 (potato chips) would be passable if it was the Ritz or Vegas -but again this is Pompano Beach. We brought a local pizza box by the pool and was told we couldn't eat it outside -then I told the guy it was their own front desk that recommended the place. Again this is POMPANO -a b-level suburb of Lauderdale. Pretty though, just trying to be something else...

room was average but location and public spaces was AWESOME!
Cons: i tried to re book for week in august and she wanted more money than the priceline price even though it is off season. when i went on priceline it was 94 per day for week in august and she told me it would be a 104 per day for same week so i did not book

Cons: The beds could be more comfortable.

Cons: Everything. This is a TIMESHARE. NOT HOTEL. Do not be tricked, they do not clean your room or give you any hotel services. Complete scam. Overpriced, old, under staffed, made several charges to our credit card that where not authorized and we are STILL trying get a refund. Customer service is absolutely clueless and helpless, Wyndham makes sure that you get so exhausted being transferred from agent to agent and on hold that you give up getting ANY refund IF you can get any.

Enjoy your visit to Pompano Beach with a stay at Coral Tides Resort. Guests can take a dip in the outdoor pool, and freebies like WiFi and self parking are added perks. A terrace and a garden are other highlights, and rooms offer conveniences like kitchens and sofa beds.
Cons: The woman at the front desk did not know how to find our reservation. And she says next time do not order the room online I will honor the same price as online. So, took over an hour to check in. The room was ok. The Bathroom window did not lock. Room service showed up an hour before check out and we were rushed off of the property. The following week we went back and she charges us twice the fee after she said she would honor the online price... And nothing had improved.
Pros: Brandon was very friendly and helpful in finding area attractions and restaurants.
At Budget Inn Ocean Resort, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Deerfield Beach Pier and Hugh Taylor Birch State Park. Guests can enjoy the outdoor pool, and hiking/biking trails, parasailing, and scuba diving are nearby. Rooms feature bonuses like sofa beds, refrigerators, and microwaves.
Pros: The check in/out is very simple, if there are questions they are easy to get ahold of and very patient, it's nice sized, it's across the street from the beach, free parking, and very chill.
Pros: The people at Pied a Plage were friendly. Other guests shared tips about the beach, the check in procedure, and the neighboring resort amenities. When we got into our room, it was pleasantly chilled and featured a full size refrigerator and beach towels.
Cons: We didn't know there wasn't a front desk or office. We were pretty annoyed when we arrived a couple hours early. You have to wait for the room # and PIN to get into your room. This would not have been a problem at a typical hotel.

Cons: This hotel used to be a hospital so it has small bathrooms, is very dark at nights, basic breakfast. Parking is difficult to find after 10 am.
Cons: Very basic furnishings. Didn't at all feel like a hotel.
Also: We returned from our hotel stay. We had pre-paid
for this hotel stay. Unfortunately, the hotel also just charged to our
credit card the full amount of our stay. We contacted the hotel and
hopefully this will be refunded.
Pros: big rooms
Cons: slow internet
Pros: staff pleasent...clean room....quite
Cons: the bath water in our room was cold...could use some more lighting...kind of dark and dreary....window curtain did not close....not very inviting overall
Cons: This is really a hotel. It's an old hospital that's now owned and operated by some sort of religious organization. It was very weird lots of rules and strange keys to gain access to the room. I did not feel secure.
Pros: The air conditioner worked great! Hummed all night and never turned off. Perfect for keeping you nice and cozy. The room was quiet. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The staff was very friendly and were very accommodating. Parking was easy and the hotel is close to the expressway.
Cons: The room was outdated. The light in the bathroom barely worked and was practically unusable (they did offer to switch my room, but I was too tired and just wanted to get to sleep). The carpets were stained and dingy. The furniture was pretty banged up and looked like they picked up some pieces from a garage sale. This "hotel" used to be a hospital and still maintains that look and feel. Had I needed to stay more than one night, I may have passed. The no alcohol rules seem a bit odd for ANY hotel and to change a guest $200+ for evidence of alcohol consumption is rather steep. This appears to be a religiously ran facility.
Pros: Nice hotel.....having a car is a must have deal. Absolutely nothing in walking distance Great staff....very courteous and helpful
Cons: Carpet a bit dirty, sink was cracked. Right off I-95. Minimal breakfast.
Pros: Was very clean.
Staff was friendly and helpful.
Pros: Good value if staying in the area for a night. Not much around the area, more industrial. A casino is close by, but not much else. Not a family site as there is not much to this place, but a place to sleep.
Cons: Rooms need to be cleaned more thoroughly. I know most places do not clean the bed covers frequently. One of the beds in our room had stains on them that were quite visible.
Pros: Hotel was great, as noted by another reviewer, the shower was cold, but we found that the dial was backwards (hot was cold and cold was hot). Great hotel though, comfortable and clean.
Pros: Stuff were helpful and friendly
Cons: We did not aware of that it is a renovated hospital, bed was broken
Pros: Spacious room, safe building, cleaniness!
At The Forum, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Fort Lauderdale Stadium and Broward Center for the Performing Arts. Free perks include continental breakfast, WiFi, and self parking. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: My fience and I were over satisified with, their employee, who was tremendously helpful with all apects of custome care. The owner and manager were forign and caused some misgivings, but overall the service was fair with hotel employee assistanc
Cons: The hotel is right adjacent from the beach. Hotel employee was Amazing, and the rooms were very clean.
Pros: It was filthy, very dirty towels, this is not a hotel., it's a filthy outdated studio apartment complex. People live here full time, the air condition unit in the Windows make a lot of noise..I didn't sleep a wink. Th hot water don't iWork at night m
Pros: Very friendly staff. Room was recently renovated. Wasn't rushed to check out.
If you are looking for a upscale hotel....DO NOT STAY HERE! The pics do not look like the hotel we stayed in. Its very old and worn but was pretty clean.
Pros: This hotel is right across the street from the beach. So its a awesome location in that aspect.
Cons: This is a older room...paid around---for one night in this hotel...a little over priced for the quality of it. Pretty ran down.
