We enjoyed our stay at Hampton Inn. All the employeess were super friendly.. Our room was clean. The free breakfast was a plus. Lots of nearby stores & restaurants. Walking distance to these places! I was hoping this would be a little close to downtown Prescott. Its about a 25 min drive. But not bad.
Room was nice and roomy, clean. Some water stains on chairs and bed skirt. Staff cordial and helpful. We were on the third floor, heavy walking till late and early in the morning on the 4th floor.
Having breakfast included was quite handy, allowing us to get a quick bite and get going. The television setup was a bit awkward from multiple viewing angles.
It was least expensive when looking at other room rates Atmosphere was pretty poor, but good enough for quick trip. The place look rundown. The pool was in closed for renovation. The key did not open to the room door, Supplied stacked in hallway. Would have been nice if they offered a discount on room rate for the pool being out of order. The room had a mini fridge, but it did not keep our food and beverages.
The staff was pleasant, the rooms were clean. The hotel is in the process of being renovated so when finally done, it will be really nice!! In the process of being renovated; pool was down and in the summer time with kids in Arizona, that's a must!! The sheets barely fit on the bed and were torn. For almost $100 a night, a solid sheet would have been nice. And the wi-fi was free but we either couldn't connect or it would disconnect on its own.
Location, the historic .hotel has been.well preserved, the nostalgia.
Beautiful hotel in great location with friendly staff. Highly recommend staying here! Pet friendly but pet owners are required to be responsible so the animals don't disturb other guests which is nice. Good parking close to all the action! Historic hotel = small bathrooms & little louder than normal.
The location of the Hotel was the primary reason we booked it. We liked the nostalgia of the hotel, and the staff was very helpful, polite, & courteous. The rooms were quaint, but they had what we needed. The bathroom felt like a closet. A little pricey per night.
The hospitality was awesome. It was very well kept. The extremely small bathroom. It was hard not to drop things in the toilet it was so tight. Also, because this is a historical building you can hear everything through the walls and windows. I would say this is a great place to stay overall, you just have to understand the age of the building.
It was charming for an adults only kind of place. I think for how old it is the wear and tare of children would be hard in a place like this.
Loved the historic atmosphere, antiques, old pianos. Music made for a great atmosphere. Service was very attentive and cheerful. Hotel bar and restaurant also good options. Thin walls, loud neighbors
Quaintness of lobby. Very small bathroom. Knees just about hit the wall when sitting on toilet.
Nothing Everything, small rooms a ridiculous elevator, rude and judgemental staff. No management on duty at night. Will never stay there again, nor will my family.
Great views over looking Prescott. Nice inside pool and jacuzzi. Less than 10 minutes from downtown. Fridge in room.
The desk staff were helpfull and friendly. Great size room and the view was awesome. Highly recommend to other people
Room was great, close to town, room faced Prescott great view. Food and drinks were expensive
For the most part the staff was wonderful!! Some annoying snags during our stay. Management needs to get on the ball so they can better strengthen their team and get them on the same page. Heck, just be present. I called front desk to ask for a late check out and the attendant said the hotel was not checking guests out late that day. I told her that we were checked in very late the previous day (we arrived at 12 to hang out and relax and to just see if we could pop in early....our room wasn't ready until around 6!) and she said she was sorry but no. I asked to speak to a manager which she said there were "none on right now". I replied, "you don't have a MOD?" ***Why aren't your Managers On Duty actually on duty? She told me we could stay until 12:00. Lunch was nice, although it seemed the servers were making the bar drinks themselves that afternoon probably due to slow season, which is understandable. There were three big events in town that weekend though and I believe the hotel was sold out, so taking that into consideration and also considering the $240 we paid for our room, one would think all facitilies would be available. The beverage came with a slice of orange that looked like it had been cut with a butterkife and dropped on the floor. Cleanliness and presentation are only a couple of the obvious expectation one would look for in an establishment such as this, right? We booked this hotel because of it's great reviews. I didn't want to be a jerk and send the drink back so I gave him the benifit of the doubt and did drink it and I am pretty sure I drank the floor. And woudn't you know, the last sip I took, I bit a tiny piece of dirt. **** I have been in the hospitality industry for the better part of twenty years. I get that things slack off some during the slow season but come on guys there is a line..... There are also standard expectations that have to be met.
Rooms were beautiful, view was outstanding, spa quality toiletries in bathroom. Parking could be difficult because of next door casino, paper products in bathroom were very poor quality.
Great room, Friendly staff. Great central location
Quiet location. Room clean and roomy. Comfortable bed and linens. Air conditioning and heating was quiet and controlled by thermostat. All dinner menus expensive. Coffee shop had good coffee but dried out unappealing pastries. Breakfast in dining room was good and beautiful setting. Setting is not walking distance to any shopping or dining.
Location had easy access and a beautiful view of the area and the accomadations were very nice Really nothing not to like ....
Room was very nice. Did a king suite. Staff was very courteous. Facility was clean. Nice pool. Ok jacuzzi. Room wasn't ready till after 6 pm. Restaurant choice was the very expensive one or the burgers / hot dogs casino. Needs a mid level place. We don't all want to shell out $50 or $60 per person for dinner or eat in a smoke filled casino.
Love the pool. It's indoor but the mural on the wall, 360°, makes you feel your in a mountain lake. Nice and warm too, not freezing like some pools. The breakfast is really nice also. Plenty of variety from cereal, muffins, and yogurt to biscuits and gravy and pancakes. We will be back.
Clean, friendly staff; pool was nice. Breakfast was available 6am-noon due to a special going on and that was awesome! Parking got a little tight at night.
Large room, great staff. Good breakfast and very clean
The only purpose of a room for me is to sleep and shower. The shower was clean, the bed was a 4 out of 5 on comfort. Very stiff is the best way to describe that bed. The ladies that checked me in and out were very friendly and forthcoming with information about navigating the traffic and making sure I had everything I needed. Great stay.
Spacious room, cleanliness; magnificent breakfast, and great breakfast staff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hard to exit parking lot...no stop light.
best breakfast we've seen for a long time. great value for the $$
We took our pets and they were welcome there. Some places advertise as pet friendly but are not. The breakfast room is large and inviting and they let us take some food for our pets. Great place to stay.
Staff, breakfast. Clean room. Felt more busines orientated.
Staff was friendly and welcoming
Very good and varied complimentary breakfast in the morning; certainly better than most hotels provide. Extremely loud water (pipe) noise in our unit when toilet flushed in another room.
Clean, friendly staff. Power went out. No lights in the hallways on arrival for several hours.
Very clean and attentive. Location is excellent - 10 minutes away from everything in Prescott. Breakfast included more items than you normally get from other chain. Will definitely return.
Clean, good location, adequate breakfast, heated indoor swimming pool, easy parking Front desk lady had no idea what she was doing
Great value for the money. Super comfy rooms lots of amenities and super breakfast!
The staff were personable, accommodating, and friendly. The staff to help us to plan a hike for ourselves. We ended up walking around Lynx Lake which was only a five minute drive away. Though the location is not right downtown it's only a brief drive to the downtown area. For the price and the location and the amount of time it would take to get downtown, it's worth the stay. We enjoyed the freshly made cookies at 6 PM. The breakfast was standard, clean and fresh. I appreciated having hot drinks (water, tea & coffee) available 24 hours. The pool area had an incredible chlorine smell in the air which maybe standard for the industry but not pleasant initially to one senses. It was clean and there were people enjoying themselves there.
Owners and staffare Amazing! Super clean and comfy :)
It was clean and kept up. Good location. On employee was a little strange in mannerisms. We spilled some a drink on a table and asked for some paper towels or something to wipe it up with and was told they did have anything. But.. They did in the little breakfast area. Guess the guy had to put his cell phone down and put his shoes on the help us out. We could of just left the mess on the table but we're not that way. We had packed up a bag of trash and I asked where I could toss it? And the employee was a bit snarky about we don't have trash cans for that but I guess I'll take it. I mean geez. I picked up a mess and such and this was that attitude I got. I remember seeing this guy when I checked in and he was all fluster when a bunch of people came to check in. Got to work on handling things buddy. Otherwise, everyone else was very nice and professional. Guess this guy has off days a lot.
Took 18 year old granddaughter there. She just loved it , as I. The breakfast could have been a bit more of a variety but we got by. Staff was very nice and accommodating.
I liked the size of the room, the bed was comfortable enough, there are plenty of pillows, ice machine was within close proximity to my room, and the staff at the front desk were very approachable and friendly. The air conditioning unit blew air that smelled like old socks, wouldn't be too much of an issue on cooler days where it wouldn't be needed, but I'd hate to find out what the heater setting smells like when in use. The sink and bathroom area could have been cleaner as you could see a film from where a wet rag was used to wipe it down. The included breakfast quality was not great. The eggs tasted reheated, the sausage tasted as if perhaps it was past the sell by date, the French toast was cold and tasted stale.
This was the best hotel I have ever stayed in. It was so charming and had a Mediterranean feel. The bed was so comfortable and the breakfast was great! I would highly recommend this over any chain hotel!!
Need a big sign for the hot tub button location
Despite the following slight irritations, our stay & the rate was fine. We had a week of negative events one after another so maybe our/my sensitivity was elevated... but hopefully you can use my observations to become even better than to hear it as criticism or a guest who complains... 1. They boast/advertise a "buffet" when in reality it's continental w/cooked eggs & sausage. I've traveled many years on business & leisure, this is far from a buffet. Beyond that disappointment the breakfast was adequate. 2. $200 fine for smoking yet someone was smoking in a nearby room. The staff was very concerned & could have investigated the rooms in question, but my room began filling with the stench as well as only the section of hallway near my room... 3. Printed out my boarding passes for return flights & received unusable copies due to low toner. 4. Keys didn't work on exterior doors, requiring walking around building to gain entrance, which required waiting for someone to unlock the door.
Our stay was wonderful. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and quiet. We'll be back!
extremely clean rooms and the staff was amazing. The continental breakfast was typical but the price for what all you got was below average. The overall price was great and yes i will definately be back.
Close to multiple resteraunts and grocery store with a Starbucks. The hotel had decent coffee too. The room was nicer than expected and very clean and comfortable. Nothing that I can think off.
The size of the room was larger compared to the newer hotels in Prescott Valley. They offer a discount to Denny's for staying there. My room was not cleaned by maid service. They didn't put towels or toiletries the next day. I had to go ask for them to give me some. There was no extra Toilet paper either. I was gone from 7:30am to 4pm so they had plenty of time to clean it.
We were they to see basketball games at the Prescott Valley event center and it was nice that it was just across the highway. It said it had breakfast but all it had was toast, cereal, coffee, and juice. They had a Denny's next door and if you showed them your key they would give you 20% off your ticket. That's was nice but I didn't want to spend money on breakfast and I had to.
Nice rooms No
The price was terrific. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. And it was quiet. This isn't a luxury hotel but it is a good value. Plus, it is near a grocery store and some shops. Only a few minutes from Prescott. I would stay there again.
location The bed was too hard.
Good customers service. No

Had two queens. The mattresses need to be replaced. One bed had a huge dip in it so I you basically sleep in a hole all night. The other bad was not as bad but still dipped. The blow dryer quit working after a minute and was falling off the wall.
Bigger room than you see nowadays, very friendly desk staff, nice breakfast outdated decor, early 9am housekeeping knock
The room smelled very bad. The bed was very uncomfortable. The mattress pad was thinner than the sheet. The bottom wasn't a fitted sheet so it kept coming untucked. The room was on the ground floor and the window wasn't locked! We finallly got it to lock after about 5 tries.I will not stay in this hotel again. We won't stay at this hotel again, Sincerely, Mr. Mrs. White
Great size rooms. Clean n comfortable. Walking distance down town. Would definitely stay here again.
Front desk was helpful and put us in a quiet room away from their conference guests The room was comfortable and spacious with two double beds, sitting area, desk and frig Staff helped us with the morning breakfast. We liked the fresh make-your-own waffles! That we couldn't stay longer
STAFF throughout - dining room to front desk - all super friendly and helpful. The breakfast lady walked around welcoming guests to the buffet and offered suggestions. The reception lady helped direct my grandson and me to the local library. Yes, yes, I know...they were doing their jobs. But they stepped up each day to say Hello. Only wish I had had more time to enjoy the POOL!!!
The beds were nice - fluffy duvets and good pillows. Not enough lighting in rooms - very dim. Not enough breakfast items and warm orange juice. Girl staffing it appeared worn out both days. Not enough staff - we tried to eat at the restaurant/bar and no one was working there! But people were drinking at the bar!? Also this hotel was billed as the Wyndham Gardens Prescott and no one told us it had changed names and was undergoing renovations - lots of dust!!!! Plus people consistently put a rock in the door so anyone could come in and out - no security whatsoever. I won't be back.
The staff was friendly and attentive. Room was clean and quiet. Enjoyed having a private patio. Location was perfect. The heated pool was a little chilly. But we enjoyed it anyways. And we found a half loaf of bread on the top shelf above the fridge. Breakfast was mediocre. But ok for a free breakfast.
Very clean and loved the pool area. Breakfast eggs and sausage not hot. Staff states the flame went out "again". Bath towels like sand paper.
Good property, outwardly well maintained, and nicely appointed room. Breakfast service needed more attention to keep up with demand.
The pool and dining was nice. Front desk was very unprofessional and the young staff treated you as if you were bothering them. Our room was the most discussing of all. The hide a bed had very used sheets and a pair of mens dirty boxers in side. Also our king bed had used sheets that appeared to have sexual stains throughout. I called the manager to explain to her and she treated me as if i was wanting to stay there free when i was just informing her about the situation. She also sounded young and very unprofessional. Ive always enjoyed La Quinta until now.
we liked the breakfast and also enjoyed the whirlpool very much We enjoyed our weekly stay very much and would recommend LaQuinta to our friends and family
The room was great. It was overpriced for what it was. It should be a $55 a night motel, not $75.
Service is excellent, room are a lot bigger than expected. It is very clean. But best of all. It is a great value
Great location to stop on my way to Jerome, Sedona and then the Grand Canyon. Can't beat the cost, and the room was safe and very clean. Obviously could use some updates, but for less than half the cost of other establishments, I am willing to deal with an outdated shower head. Not a huge deal, but the ice machine is inside of the neighboring gas station. (It can be used at no cost to hotel customers)
Friendly customer service, upgraded our room and we're just generally kind and helpful. None.
I would say this hotel did make us feel very welcome. I had never been to Prescott and the people were so nice including the hospital my husband was in. Thank you for your wonderful customer service.
Great breakfast and very large rooms Hotel was under renovations but the overall experience was great. Just would have been nice to know before booking the hotel.

This is one of the nicest rooms I've ever stayed in! And they're about to remodel! New carpet and drapes, that sort of thing. The kitchenette and the living room were spacious and comfortable. I was VERY impressed!
The staff was amazing and it was very clean.
The staff was wonderful!
Clean spacious rooms. Shuttle from Phoenix airport takes you to door

Staff was friendly. Room looked very clean, well kept, new. The bathroom could use a nicer texture and lotion.
This hotel was beautiful.Very clean, & we even had a full kitchen. The biggest perk was the hot breakfast. It was fantastic & all the staff, especially the breakfast cook, we're so accommodating & friendly. We got an amazing deal! Would definitely recommend

Comfortable beds, good location in the Pines near downtown. Lots of bugs outside the room at night this time of year, they should consider yellow bug light bulbs next to the doors.
The staff was very nice. Breakfast much better than I expected. Loved the pine trees all around. The A/C took some time to cool the room down.
I liked how close it was to town 1.4 miles and it was quiet all night and most of the day It seemed like several people lived there... Some scary people at that! Next time because of that I might stay at a more upscale rather than cheap!
The morning assustant manager was fantastic. He was apologetic and seemed sincere in his desire to right the wrong that his morning staff had caused. When we arrived our room had been given to someone else. After 45 min of discussion and showing our receipt we had our room, "supposedly for 2 nights." Next day we het a call that our things were being removed from room. We missed part of our event, "state wrestling" due to phone conversations about the mistake.
Breakfast was oK The hot tub was closed for the season. I was very disappointed this information was not disclosed to us on the reservation website. Secondly, the room ceilings had several cracks. We decided that this will be the last time staying at Confort Inn.
It was more home like then chain hotels, very welcoming. Pastry and coffee were in the lobby/check in desk area every morning. Very very small rooms and bathrooms, can't emphasize that enough. Check in/out was smooth and he stay was quiet. Small rooms and bathrooms
Very nicely decorated vintage motel, short walk from restaurants/bars in downtown Prescott. Small room, tiny bathroom, right off of busy street in Prescott, room door didn't do a good job of blocking outside noise. Note, not all room doors directly face the street, but mine did.
Cozy, great vibe, friendly owner and staff, very welcoming, everything you need for a great value! It's small and doesn't have much for amenities, and the parking lot is a little difficult to use for a big truck. If you don't need much, though, this place is PERFECT! Adorable and affordable.
Location, location, location. Once you're here you won't need a car. Albertson's, Starbucks right across the street, and of course downtown restaurants and bars just a few blocks away. For being right on a busy street, it was quiet enough on Memorial day weekend for us old farts. Our room was tiny and dark, but very clean and nice in a funky kind of way.
