Swimming pool area very enjoyable. Especially at night time. Hotel location is good if you want to go swimming into the sea. Shore very close by. The room was not so clean. No rubbish bin in the room as well. It's definitely more like a holiday resort than a hotel. The rooms have a kitchen so it's like any holiday appartment. Breakfast (9,5 euros) is too expensive. Hotel location is too far away from the city center to walk there.
Great view on sea and sunset. Close to a small nice beach. Nice swimming pool. Large appartments, nice balcony. One of the receptionists speaks only French (but that is standard on Corsica). Only French TV. Rooms were not really clean. We had to ask them to repair the shower, but it was fixed on the same day (Sunday!). 1km to the center.
using the swimming pool, enjoying the beautiful view, being near the town and the beach. No air-conditioning in the bedrooms.
Please write at least 15 word:the nature Expensive breakfast not value for money
On arrival we where made to feel very welcome, a family run hotel which had all the family involved which was lovely. Pool area was very clean and not crowded at any one time. Enjoyed my stay very much. Thank You Only thing was that no air conditioning in the room which made it difficult to sleep at night. But its a small concern and they made up for it in other ways.
Really nice breakfast. Small bed (double bed)
Wieu on the seaside! The hotel needs the outside renovation! The beach was dirty, everything /broken.../ stayed from the last year season.....
Good position for tours with own car, town center could be reached by feet. Own beach available. Breakfast variety could be better for this price, sea view from rooms in lowest floor is not as good as from higher levels (view partly obstructed by plants).
Good quality hotel on the edge of town and within walking distance of the town and restaurants. Had its own private beach with good swimming. Excellent breakfast provided. A most enjoyable stay.
Nice beach, car parking, friendly stuff, good location stuff don't speak english, breakfast is poor-not quantity but quality, maybe little overpriced, i think for same price it is possible to find better accomodation
We stayed in this hotel at saturday 11th of april - just couple days after hotel opened for a summer season. Hotel is situated just on the national road but we had no problem with noise at all - our room was facing the sea (I believe, all rooms are facing the sea) and we heard no noise at all. Another big plus - private beach where only guests have access. Beach bar (or was it restaurant?) looked completely destroyed after the winter, but I guess they will fix it before the season start. Hotel was cold (including our room, but after turning on the heating it warmed up quite quickly). It was cold in breakfast room too - not comfortable to eat in such cold room.
The room and the terrace. Service and staff was probably the worst I have ever had. This is not Small Luxury hotel, it is just small hotel. Terrible breakfast, service and staff behave very arogant to us. This all for 400 eur per night.
We loved this hotel! Perfect Boutique hotel, in a quaint city. The staff were fantastic, the room was impeccable with a spectacular view and balcony. Breakfast included by the pool was amazing, we just wished we had stayed longer.....
Miramar is a lovely hotel, and the staff was unfailingly polite and friendly. Our room was beautiful. We ran out of toilet paper, and had to call the front desk to have it brought up. In a 4star hotel! Dinner in the restaurant was way too long (21/2 hours), and the place is too expensive overall. We arrived tired, so chose to have lunch at the hotel while our room was being cleaned. I was charged 25 Euro for a club sandwich (the menu said 19 euro, but because I chose fresh tuna instead of chicken, there was a surcharge.) The staff tried hard to accomodate our wishes, but were ultimately unsuccessful with all our requests (boat rental and canyoneering). Surely this is not the first time guests have wanted to rent a boat - in a beach resort! Too expensive for what you get.
Friendly staff , relaxed atmosphere, pleasant breakfast on the terrace No wifi, traffic noise, steps to terrace
there is no wifi.
Stunning location, beautiful design and comfortable rooms. Very child-friendly, with children's menu and toys, without being a noisy children's hotel. We had to wait until 3pm to check in, really. Also a bit expensive compared to other hotels in the area.
The Miramar Boutique Hotel was a highlight during our 2010 Corsica Trip: Very stylish and modern room and facilities, very warm and attentive staff, excellent food, recommendable also to young families
We felt very confortable in this hotel, the members of staff were charming. The public areas, especially the gardens and pool were delightful. Buffet breakfast very good. An easy 10-15 minute walk down to the restaurants in Propriano - sadly we did not eat in the hotel, as we found the menu prices a little expensive, ditto the mini bar prices in the room. The public beach is across the road, but we found access to it from the hotel quite easy. We would stay here again, given the opportunity.
Excellent hotel... I liked everything about the hotel, exactly as its description on internet. Spotlessly clean, crisp white sheets, room was acceptable average size, all furniture modern and new , good location for the resort and beaches. Breakfast was plain, and simple continental style ... again as expected.Staff couldn't have been more helpful, I speak reasonable french, but I heard them talking in other lauguages where neceassery to other guests. Nothing at all
Very helpful and friendly staff. Very clean and good room service. Nice view to sea/harbour.
Very convenient on the flat access to resort shops and good restaurants. Views across the bay excellent. Pity the rooms only had a sea view and did not have a balcony.
Arrived from Porto Torres, location was excellent, walking into town. The breakfast on the terrace was wonderful.
Nice to have free parking, excellent staff support, very good breakfast view towards the sea. We used this hotel as a stop over to visit Bonifacio, The hotel is too expensive when compared to a three star rating. I've stayed in Best Western Bastia and was cheaper and better. We where charged 20 euros/night for extra bed.
Nice view, cleaness, friendly staff A bit expensive
Easy to find; suffcient parking places; excellent view over Propriano bay; hugh breakfast -
The room was extremely clean and functional. If you take the sea view the room seems much improved. However, the management charge an exorbitant amount for a sea view. It is close to a beach, but a distance to the restaurants. The safe parking was free of charge. The hotel was good, however, it was overpriced for a three star hotel, it seemed rather to be a two star, for example, no hairdryer, no safe, no fridge in room. Also the rooms were very small.
Central location in Southern Corsica. Very nice view on the valley (it's worth the extra cost). Too much noise in the hotel of undisciplined travelers smashing doors, talking in the hallway and pulling trolleys (mostly coming by bus for one night). Impossible to sleep after 6.00 in the morning. Bath tub with only hand shower and no curtain so you need to sit to take a shower.
The room was small, however, the view from the bedroom was outstanding, and worth a visit. The town was interesting to explore. The price was fair.
The room was really nice not the usual French seaside. The room had stone walls and beams although mock really worked well. I would definetly stay again. Very clean and had obviously recently been refurbished.
The romantic dining setting in the garden. Too far from Corte is you are visiting, which we were originally doing. We did however like the quiet dining setting.
The location and views are unbeatable - this is definately THE place to stay in Sartène! The car park is a major plus point as otherwise it is impossible to park - the hotel is just a couple of minutes walk to the heart of the town. This is the cleanest hotel we have stayed in and the staff were helpful and friendly. There was a small fridge in the room which was great for storing our own drinks and snacks. Another major plus is the availability of free Wi-Fi in the rooms as well as the public areas. Overall, an excellent hotel and we would highly recommend it. The hotel is popular with coach parties, making it impossible to sleep past 7am. It put us off eating in the restaurant (although there are many places to choose from within walking distance). Breakfast is very basic with no choice which didn't suit us - also only served until 09:30. The rooms are scrupulously clean but with just a small bath where a shower would be better.
Clean rooms, friendly staff, nice views, perfect location.
It was nice. The price si different if you choose a room facing valley or city.
Service at the Reception desk (Avelino is a nice guy, very professional), and especially the view on the valley from the balcony of the room: amazing!!! Efficient air conditioning. No fan in the bathroom, and quality of the bed (mattress and pillow) not that good
good location, free parking, nice view from the window hotel stuff don't speak english. Soundproofing is bad and in the morning I was awakening by sounds of other guests.
the room was clean and the staff was friendly. The view was wonderfull.
Large room with excellent beds and a stunning view over a beautiful landscape. The sunset is spectacular! Large bathroom that is as the rest of the place in very good condition.
Location We use to travel around the world because our jobs and use to stay are several hotels but sorry to say the people in charge of the guest are really unpleasand and you feel they don't enjoy receiving people at the hotel. Specially unsociable is the person behind the desh: not only never helps you when asking about places or maps even when we left the hotel last day at 7 am he was not able to offer us a cup of coffee or kind words of leave-talking (the service was preparing the tables for breakfast) after paying more than 1200 € !!!.Another recommendation: if you want to have breakfast better wake up at 8 am, otherwise you'll loose the poor breakfast the hotel offers...and becasue the bad humour of service eople prefers not to ask for it
The location is very good. Overlooking the mountains.
the atmosphere is very good!! the light in corridor is cleard too quickly.
We visited the hotel early in October so found it quiet. The views towards the sea from the bedrooms are stunning. The breakfast waitress was particularly friendly and efficient. Being towards the end of the season, some of the facilities were not available (eg restaurant) and the manager had started to put outdoor furniture away.
The location above the beach is ideal. The front desk staff was very helpful. The room was on the beach side with a pleasant balcony but the room itself was small. It is not easy to find because there isn't a good sign indicating the hotel. It is, however, at the end of the road, so, when you get there, you eventually figure it out.
This is an extremely comfortable and clean hotel which has a quite excellent position with views over the Marina at Porto Pollo in southern Corsica. The restaurant is also of a high standard and is well run.
Good brekfest & restaurant We have booked a triple room. But in fact it was a very small double room with an additional, folding bed only. As a double room it would be very small. As a triple it was horrible small. The view is mixed: fine mountains on the horizon, the marina of Porto Pollo as well as awful marina’s parking. Parking is busy from ap.7 in the morning. So if you like such a view or smell of cars’ fumes you would like Le Golfe Hotel.
The standart room very small: no wardrobe or table. Half day was no electricity in all hotel and staff don't notice about this sheduled repair works.
all, this hotel is really good the breakfast is a little bit poor for the price
geat location on seaside, splendid beach, good restaurant
Large sized rooms Was not as clean as I would have expected. There were some patches on the walls and generally the most disappointing of the 4 hotels we stayed at in Corsica.
Beautiful location, well appointed rooms, excellent adjoining restaurant and bar.Friendly and helpful staff Unreliable hot water supply
Staff and location No
The room was very spacious,a lovely view of the garden and sea. There was easy to access the room ,the Hotel itself was small an intimate but you still had the feeling of privacy. The restuarant was actually very good value for money and excellent quality of food. The mini bar fridge did not work very well.
The big room. As a whole all was pleasant. Only narrow road on coast in this place. The mobile phone did not see a network in this place At hotel restaurant very long you expect a dinner and each dish.
the location, the beach, the room, the bathroom :) breakfast was very little for 8,50 Euro
Nice setting on the beach, large room, balcony overlooking the sea No airconditioning in room, few facilities (restaurant was closed for refurbishment).
