Beach was beautiful.
Customer Service and Shuttle! Many of the resort employees were grumpy especially the wait staff in restaurants. Ate several times at small Beach House cafe for lunch. Same waitress each day was unfriendly/grumpy to the point of being rude. Water sport attendant on our first or second day at the Beach House beach was rude to the point of being punitive because we did not have a reservation for beach chairs, even though that day (it was raining) there were only about a dozen in use by non-Beach House clients. We had tried at Blue Haven but all were booked??? Shuttle was disastrous this year. We always got to the shuttle 15 minutes early, yet we often had to wait for a 2nd shuttle, both in the morning as well as coming back from dinner. In fact, one night at the Beach House we had to wait for the 2nd shuttle (another 15 minutes), then driver picked up people at Alexandra and dropped them off at the Seven Seas restaurant while we waited to be taken to Blue Haven. Another time we were in a hurry to get to Beach House. While we were waiting on shuttle, driver stopped at guard house of Alexandra and picked up 4 women who wanted to be taken to another location (not 1 of 3 resorts).
Only our 2nd time at an all-inclusive and was pleasantly surprised. Normally we rent a condo on VRBO or other sites, but booking in October for New Year's week, everything super expensive in T&C. Found some condos in similar price range, but then still had food to pay for which is not cheap here. For 6 nights, 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom, paid $13,200. All inclusive meals, drinks, paddle boards, kayaks, and could use facilities at sister properties Alexandra and Beach House (18+) Breakfast Buffet was a full American type. About 10-12 pastries or breads every day. Croissants were great. Hot bar with pancakes, french toast, waffles, sausage, bacon, a local dish, eggs. Eggs made to order, waffle station, oatmeal bar, yogurts, 4-6 fruits, and 4 juices daily. Lunch at pool had 5 starters, about 5-7 entrees. Tacos, burger, grilled cheese, chicken wrap, great chicken plate with fattoush salad. Ate breakfast and lunch every day at resort. Had 3-4 drinks daily which were well made by bar team. Truly appreciated not being nickel and dimed like you would at a big property - Ritz, Marriott, etc on other islands. Kids could order a frozen drink and did not set you back $20 after tax & tip. Dinner places - ate once at each. Fire & Ice decent. Salt pizza was great, would go another night if had time. Since spent most of day at resort, preferred to go out to dinner. Again expensive on T&C for dinners (2 adults, 2 14 yr olds) all with a bottle of wine in $80-150 range- Coco Bistro $520, The Landing $288, Grace's Cottage $374. Even lunch at Omar's Beach Hut $97 (3 beers, 4 entrees, 2 virgin daquiris). So food can add up fast. Tax is 12% on everything. RESORT is chill, not a lot of units 35-40, calm water. Multiple multi-generation groups, good if small kids. Pool is on beachfront which is NOT the case with most Grace Bay resorts (no view). The resort is not near anything else. Taxis expensive, recommend getting a car to explore.
Not much I can find fault with. Did send 3-4 emails to resort thru booking.com. Only received response on one. Would be helpful if website had more info on exactly what watersports are available, included, and extra cost. Was trying to figure that out before booking with tour operators independently.
The room was really big and bedding comfortable. The view from the room was fantastic. The restaurant for the night was great. Hotel is quiet.
The staff is simply very rude (expect for one or two waitresses). However, you will find the staff in the two other sister properties even more rude and lazy. You ask them for anything, they will look at you with an angry look, come back 1 hour later and with half of what you asked. This did not make our holiday relaxing. We mentioned it to reception before leaving because we were really fed up. The beach is nice but going to the BeachHouse is really a must as the beach there is stunning and you can snorkel.
We really loved our stay here. We have travelled a lot the last 2 years, over 40 different countries and 100 different hotels and this resort is in our top 3 hotel, we really loved it! The atmosphere, the staff, the food and please let’s talk about the bed!!! LOVED IT!!!
Location was great, everything we wanted was included and we had access to all three resorts so we had plenty of options for food and beach. Loved the fact that wakeboarding was included along with tubing.
Bed could have been a bit more comfortable (not saying it was bad but I've stayed in better) but other than that, it was great. There wasn't too many things bad with this resort and I'd go back.
Nestled on the beach, this Providenciales property is within 3 mi (5 km) of Leeward Beach, Grace Bay Beach, and Long Bay Beach. Little Water Cay and Provo Conch Farm are also within 3 mi (5 km).
