Pros. Coffee in room, should have more regular coffee. Windy as all get-up!!!

Cons. I had a reservation made in advance as part of my itinerary for this motel. When I pulled in, I noticed a shuttle van for the motel leaving. The first oddball aspect of this place is that the front desk is in the diner. I went to the window for checking in. After a couple minutes, someone from the diner came to help me. I told her I had a reservation. She cheerfully told me that the lady who takes care of that just left. She was the one driving the shuttle bus down to the train depot. I didn’t get the whole story, but evidently this motel exists primarily to provide rooms for employees of a railroad company. I asked the lady from the diner when she would return, she cheerfully told me about 15 minutes. Needless to say, if I did not have a reservation I would have left immediately. When the lady returned in the shuttle with the railroad employees, she ignored me waiting there and took care of them first. I noticed that the motel has a nice looking actual lobby area. However, it is the Crew Lounge, and is off-limits to the less-deserving paying motel customers. Here are the highlights from this incompetently run establishment: - No continental breakfast, not even free coffee. The lady cheerfully told me the diner is open 24 hours. - The free coffemaker in the room had no coffee. - No alarm clock in the room. - The hot water pressure was weak, I had a hard time taking a shower with warm water. I was insulted being treated like an inferior person by the staff. The $85 they charged was way over-priced for a no-frills motel like this.

Cons. The room was not very clean. Other empty rooms on the floor had the doors proped open with towels and they were not cleaned, as though the cleaning crew had not finished on the third floor

The staff were very friendly and accomodating despite being understaffed (at checkin), the room was clean and comfortable, the location in town is perfect, plenty of parking, adorable diner, the elevator and dolly made loading in and out a breeze (I dont travel light), pet friendly, and even a little grill outside with a picnic table :)
Cons. One major annoyance was that the wifi did notttt work. Also I needed to stay longer as I am intown for work and was unable to get a weekly stay/rate bc the place was completely boked up! That part is good for them :) bad for me :/
