Pros: Beautiful house from the beginning of the 20th century, when Reggio resurrected after a severe earthquake that destroyed the whole city. Family-like environment with a host that will make feel you like at home.

Pros: Chiara was absolutely fabulous, assisted with taxi arrangements and other information we requested. The breakfast was fantastic with a variety of home baked goodies.

Pros: The house, the rooms are very comfortable and clean, the breakfast is very tasty and hearty, the owner (Chiara) is extremely friendly and does everything to serve you very well.

Pros: The room and the building in vintage style is cute. The breakfast was amazing with several self made options (e. g. cakes). Chiara (the owner) was very nice and supportive. Free parking in front of the building which is a big advantage in Italy.

Pros: Chiara is an amazing host; really knowledgeable about the area and full of brilliant suggestions for things to do and places to go. We particularly appreciated her suggestion to visit the Polistena 'Festa dei Giganti', which we never would have known about without her suggesting it! She also made sure all our guests were fully catered for; one of our group is gluten and lactose intolerant, and Chiara took the time to specially provide her with delicious gluten-free bread and pastries. Breakfast was delicious, rooms were clean and spacious. We had a lovely stay and will definitely be back!

Pros: Small nice guest house with very nice hostess, who are happy to tell lots of interesting things on the city, recommend and book a restaurant, and provide any help if needed. Room was nice, with anything needed. Breakfast also nice with some homemade pies, fruits and other things.

Cons: Location is not in the very centre, and the neighborhood may seemed not very safe in the night time

Pros: The very friendly and helpful host, Chiara who told us the history of the house and gave us excellent recommendations of where to eat and where to visit. The accommodation was spacious and light, with breakfast in the garden room being delightful.The house and amenities are well cared for.Breakfast itself was excellent with home made cakes and fresh fruit.Good location if arriving by train, not in main centre but easy access to it

Cons: The immediate area is a little run down and felt off putting until we became familiar with it.Our host, Chiara was re-assuring about this and she proved to be quite right.

Pros: The accommodation is on the 5th floor in the building, the view is just amazing. Breakfast was always fresh and well-prepared.

Pros: Spacious room. Quiet. Extremely clean. Exceptional hosts who waited for my very late arrival. Needed a last minute stay due to late flight & to find such nice accommodation literally a few minutes walk from the airport was very satisfying. Friendly & accommodating hosts & good breakfast. Highly recommend.

Pros: This place is perfect. The airport is about 100 m away, and the room was like in a luxorious hotel - very well designed, clean and comfortable. Recommendation!

Pros: It was one of the best places in all Italy, where view on the whole Etna Mt. is so astonished. You could see the mountain during your breakfast coffee. Even on Sicilly it was impossible to compare with Reggio.

Cons: It was totally unpleasant stay. Air condition was not working properly and persistently stopped to 30-40 minutes after an hour of working. Electric circuit was on the other side of the room, so it was inconvinient to work with laptop. Room with toilet was significantly less square than stated in the description 23 sq.meters. Another double room was even smaller than this. If you book "camera tripla" it really means double room. So don't be confused, if you book triple room for one person you won't get triple room, you will get double. All hotel is simply 3 rooms on the 3rd floor. There is no elevator in the building. Room view was to the inner, closed side of builing, particularly to the balcony of neighboors. And assistant who opened the door the first day did not speak english at all. It was impossible to communicate. There was flannel pillowcases and sheets on the bed. This is a bad choice. It is doubtful that they may be hygienically retracted, or they may not be washed at all after previous guests, because I saw other people's hair on them. Surrounding area is horrible. Rubbish everywhere on the streets, sewage flows down the street. I tried to go to nearest big store (Lidl) using map and it was a dangerous adventure. Another, smaller chain store (Deco) is not working for 3 hours during daylight, be prepared for that. I had to wait 30 minutes in the morning until bus to the center came, though a lot of bus numbers have to go to the center. Be also prepared for heavy traffic near railway station. It took bus another 40 minutes to get to the port. To sum up, it was terrible experience and I would not recommend this place.

Pros: A large room with a comfortable bed, not too far from the centre - probably a 15 minute walk, on site parking.

Pros: This b&b is excellent for a lot of things: it is quite, clean, cheap and full equipment. The breakfast is incredible, and everyday the owner provides personally to make it. He’s also an helpful person.

Pros: The apartment was very clean. Washing machine broke but otherwise it would have been very useful. The owner was quick to sort out the slow draining sink.

Cons: The breakfast. Seems to be common to have a lot of sweet items for breakfast in Italy. The bedroom hinge was slightly broken and door had to be lifted to close. It would be good if the owner can sort this out.

Pros: Location was great in a sense that they had supermarkets, cafés, fruit market relatively close, also train station is just 20 minutes walk away. Clean (spotless)apartment , provided with all kitchen appliances, breakfast, refreshments in the fridge. It has a spacious balcony& living room. Rooms are nice and well equipped. Host is nice and flexible with check in and out hours. I can’t show pictures because I only made videos of the property. I liked it very much.

Pros: Excellent bed, washing machine, breakfast, felt safe, fabulous kitchen / dining, good wifi. Supermarket extremely close.

Cons: If travelling on foot it is a 10-15 minute walk into the suburbs from the shops and station. (Although the kind host will do airport or station transfers on arrival and departure, he even offered to walk with me to the city the first time so I would get my bearings).

Cons: A difficult place to find (even with a sat nav) but that was the fault of my taxi driver from the rail station. Guests could do with this information in advance.Superb

Pros: The property has 4 bedrooms and a shared kitchen/breakfast room. The room we had was very nice, we didn't see the others. It had en-suite facilities, a TV and a balcony. Whilst we were there we were the only guests so we had the kitchen to ourselves. It is only about 10-15 mins. walk to Reggio's main street, so we found the location very convenient. We also liked the secure parking.

Pros: Antonio and his son Domenico were great hosts. Domenico fetched medicine for my partner when she was ill and took me out to shop for Calabrian specialties. Antonio brought us fresh cornetti for breakfast. Everyone was very kind and helpful. The location was also ideal as it was a few minutes by foot to the airport.

Pros: Antonio was very nice! He gave us tips on where to go and eat. The breakfast was also good. The whole place feels like a cozy home away from home

Pros: We had a flight departure at 6-45 in the morning and location at 5 minutes by foot to airport was perfect for us. The host picked us up at the railway station of Reggio and told us about history and architecture of the city. It was really surprise for us. The room and kitchen are both spacious and comfortable. The view from the balcony is fantastic. There is also a lot of very interesting touristic guides, maps and books into appartment

Cons: Difficult to find. Like in many towns, no names in the streets. Not very nice neighborhood but we felt safe in the street, even in the evening.
