Overview
Sitting on the bank of the Missouri River, the Argosy Casino Hotel and Spa offers a Vegas-style hotel experience just outside of Kansas City. As the city’s only AAA 4 Diamond Award Winning Casino Hotel, the Argosy is a main attraction for nightlife and entertainment.
Inspired by the first riverboat casino, the Argosy Hotel was built over the years in stages, the last stage completed in 2005, which is now the 258-room luxury hotel and day spa standing today. Rooms run an average of 300 square feet while suites are upgraded to 768 square feet. All rooms and suites include modern amenities, Wi-Fi access, a 42-inch plasma TV, and pillow-top bed and premium bedding.
The casino is the main attraction at this hotel, featuring 1,400 slots and favorite table games such as blackjack, roulette and craps, plus weekly promotions to increase winnings. The casino also features a newly-renovated private high limit room where guests can play double deck blackjack, 21 + 3, baccarat, and high limit slots.
In the spa quests will find services ranging from pedicures and facial treatments to specialty services for men. The best feature however might be the option to have a two-person in-room massage so that guests don’t even have to leave the privacy of their own space.

Pros (+) Nice bathrooms and comfortable spacious rooms.
Cons (-) I did not like the stain on one of my mattresses and didn't like that wifi had a fee. Not trying to pay for internet when it's costly already.
Cons (-) They've added a fee for wi-fi and the hotel continues to age without much maintenance. Stains on the carpet, very limited but expensive food and restaurant options, lamps with torn shades... just a general, unwelcomed decline. My last time at this property.
Pros (+) The room was spacious, clean, and the beds are sooooo comfortable!!! The shower is simply amazing, it was probably my favorite.

Pros (+) The hotel itself was comfortable and our room was clean and accommodating. It was my third visit to the hotel and every time it's been a lovely experience.
Cons (-) The smoke from the casino hits you like a wave the second you walk into the building. It's a bit over powering. The impression given is either the casino is behind the time in it's acceptable of smoking indoors or it's ventilation system isn't functioning properly.
