we loved it
We loved this place surrounded by wine and olives. Old-world atmosphere, beautiful furniture, comfortable beds, extremely clean. The staff are very friendly and hospitable. The breakfast is their own farm- produce - delicious! There is an internet connection so we could go online. They also have a great kitchen. I am vegetarian (no meat no fish), and that is usually an issue. Not here! They came up with one delicacy after the other, all made with local ingredients. Definitely recommended for vegetarians and people with other diet restrictions. The place is easy to find if you have a gps or check the maps online. You can travel to the sights nearby pretty easily because it is close to an exit on the highway.
The Ambiente of the old in very nice condition maintained Hazienda and the friendly environment represented by the landlady the traffic hints to find the location are from any direction very poor
Nice old building with beautiful rooms, Staff gives you the feeling that they appreciate your stay. Englisch and German spoken!! Did not have the change to try the possible dinner, but certainly will next time.
Very nice masseria, nice staff. A bit far, but easy to find.
Very friendly and helpful staff and a beautiful hotel. Would definitely stay again if ever in the area. Didn't realiase how far from Rutigliano train station it was. More suitable for those with a car probably
Very friendly staff. We arrived late and they still made some some food.
It is no lift in the hotel!
Optimal location for trips in Puglia and Basilicata, close to Bari airport (40 km), fresh air between olive trees and vineyard, safe and comfortable parking. Perfect dinner: pasta, meat, dessert, vine... We will always remember this Agriturismo!
extremely friendly staff, nicely furnished room
Convenient location for old city and train station. Good breakfast Very helpful staff
The hotel is close to the Historic old town and the Cruise Liners terminal and is within walking distance from the main shopping centre. The Hotel personnel was very helpful. The price is a bit on the high side in certain periods.
Close to the historic city center. Nice, clean, real 4* hotel. no parking around the hotel (not even for motorbikes).
Breakfast was geat!!
Comfortable bed and pillows, nice shower with plenty of hot water. Insufficient access to electrical outlets.
Good location and good sized rooms
breakfast and kindness of the staff wall paper old fashion....
Very nice Hotel just next to the old town and the promenade. It's an old style, elegant hotel, although not new, so the furniture and the building. It is far from luxurious, but still very nice. The breakfast is nice, I loved their bruschetta! I prefer the rooms looking on the street, instead of the coutryard where the air conditioning stuff is, although the first room we got looked a little bit better, than the one that looking on the street. You must try panino (bread) packed with ham (or mortadella) and grana or mozzarella cheese, that you get in almost all, even small supermarkets. Very nice to grab one while walking in the old town! The bus from the Airport (Tempesta) stops just 2-300m from the hotel (4.15€/person one way). At the breakfast you get only two kind of meat (mortadella and ham), and there is no prosciutto crudo (raw ham) and grana (hard cheese), two absolute must-haves in Italy. At some restaurants they charge you 1-3€ service fee per person.
This was a very lovely hotel!! Very comfortable bed and pillows and the bathroon and main room were very roomy and beautiful. The desk people were extremely friendly and helpful too!! The breakfast room was lovely as well and the food was wonderful.
The hotel was at the center of the city and within walking distance from all the main attractions (old city, seafront) and shopping area. My room was large and very clean. The breakfast was good as well. If you are travelling by car you can book a parking space at the hotel. You need to pay extra but it is worth it since finding a free space in Bari is very difficult !
The staff, location, facilities were good and the price None
The hotel room was comfortable and clean. It is very difficult to find, as all the locals know it by a different name. It is called "The Palace" with the locals. It is in between the port and the train station, so it takes a bit of a walk to reach it to/from either location (if you know where you're going).
A good hotel near the centre of Bari. Nice gardens and rooms are very functional. You can walk to the town centre in 20-25mins. Plenty of parking available (free of charge) & breakfast looked really good. Service isn't one of the strengths of the hotel and we felt that staff weren't particularly friendly or helpful (for example we only had one towel in our room and when we called reception to get some more towels, nothing happened for 30mins. We then went to reception and found out that they hadn't even started to look for some room service and we had to wait another 20mins to get some towels - not exactly our understanding of good service...). Equally, staff seemed to chat amongst themselves a lot rather than attending to guests who were waiting at reception. But overall the hotel provides good value for money we felt.
Very relaxed, coffortable, good value. Gardens plesant, interesting design and the breakfast was very good The location - we felt very uncomfortable in the streets around the hotel and decided to eat at the hotel rather than to venture out to find somewhere to eat at night.
Excellent hotel!!! We asked for a triple room and we got a room the size of a small apprtment! The garden and Villa Romanazzi were amazing!!!I Strongly recomend it!
Even though I showed the booking confirmation, which clearly written that wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge. They insist us that booking company's mistake and request us to pay if we want to use it. They should have the generousity to honor the booking confirmation and make settlement later with booking company for their discrepancy.
The hotel's grounds were lovely, as were there reception and lobby area. This hotel is a 20 min walk from the train station and is a 30 min walk from the city main. It has good staff and adequate rooms. It offers a very good breakfast and the breakfast staff were extremely friendly. The staff were also quite accommodating to us, in allowing us to keep our luggage at the hotel, while we explored the city, prior to boarding a ferry to Bari. We were even able to remain in the pleasant lobby area for a few hours prior to the ferry (at 11pm!), which was better then wandering aimlessly around the city. This hotel was quite far from the station and the city. It is situated on the "other" side of the tracks, to the city, and the surrounding shops and facilities reflect this. The rooms were below par for a 4 star hotel- no tea/coffee facilities, no free wifi, poor standard of bed and bedding. Our room was quite odd (we're not sure if it was because of the discounted rate?) but it felt like a converted storage room. There are no decent cafes or restaurants near the hotel, you would have to walk into the city to find these. The restaurant looked lovely but was quite expensive, as was room service. This is a good hotel for one or two nights between further travels, but I wouldn't choose it if Bari was your main destination.
Very Bad. Mr Pietro didn't Accepted our reservation by call with our Guest Card. Booking Service & Transparent about prices.
very large, comfortable rooms.Beautiful surroundings inside a private Park, free safe parking, not far from the Port. Arrived very late at night very tired and asked not to be disturbed in the morning.Unfortunately,at 8.30 they started to make repairs in the room just over ours.Very noisy, lost all our sleep!
Hotel has good location in the city and nice envronment. 1. First impesion: afternoon ag 13 we had not free room and personal did not tell: seat down for a coffé, after 30 minutes you will have free room. 2. Your web site has not orientation plan how to get there from railway station. 3. I did not like hotels with full shower of water. 4. I had not in the room informtion about working time of restaurant, caffé and other services. 5. Such dirty swiming pool I did not see long time. 6. I bought room without breakfast, because your web side is not clear. Normaly I am buying room iclude breakfat. The first moment in your restaurant was for me shocking! Do you like more? My professional orientation is quality of services.
The hotel staff including receptionists were very kind and had very good hospitality to take care of us. Thank you. The View through window from the room facing the railway station was not so fantastic.
garden hoetl staff`, decaration of the room, internet access,
Close to the airport with no plane noise, somehow! Very nice and comfortable rooms with plenty of room to spread out your luggage and a great pool! The spa services also looked great although we didn't use them. I chose this hotel because of the airport shuttle but was surprised when it cost 10Euro. As close as they were I expected no charge because that is standard in U.S. I should have asked in advance since it wasn't on the English website.
Room was spacious, clean, quiet, air conditioning worked well, good shower / toilet facilities. Good shuttle service. Excellent breakfast!
staff was amazing and more than accomodating location on the highway was not the most convenient... although they did offer shuttle service.
Nice hotel and very kind staff
Clean and accomidating. Some of the staff spoke English so that was helpful traveling from America. Offered a shuttle that took you where you needed to go for a reasonable price. Nothing really in walking distance for you to go to. A car would be needed or the shuttle service.
Next to the motorway. No Swimming Pool.
staff friendly and helpful an easy drive from Bari but still 15 minutes from the ring road
Staff were very nice and friendly Breakfast could have been more Eruropeanised
The hotel itself was great, very clean, nicely furnished, little extras in the bathroom and friendly, helpful, professional staff. Comfortable bed, Sky TV, nice breakfast and good coffee. The only thing I didn't like about the hotel was it was in the middle of nowhere and an expensive taxi ride from Bari ferry port. I used the hotel shuttle service in the morning to go to the train station, but if there was a shuttle service at night that picked up guests from the port/station (which I was told when I rang there wasn't, but now I'm looking at other reviews, they say there was, must have been lost in translation when I rang), it would make it a perfect place to stay.
Good hotel, but little too far for the old city experience.
This hotel and its staff went out of their way to make our stay memorable. I wrote letters to the management and personal thank-yous to the staff because I was so touched at their attention and service. It may be a little off the beaten track but it is worth the effort!
Modern, clean, secured car park Low water pressure
The room was very clean; internet in the lobby ok. As a general remark: I would have preferred a curtain (or similar) between the bathroom and the sleeping room. Of course having single occupancy it did not eally matter.
Location wise little away from downtown city. But excellent facilities. Little far from downtown. Swimming pool was not available for use.
it was o.k
Perfect Hotel. Location not central. Taxi = 12 euro to the centre.
Excellent hotel. Very nice and clean room. Free and very fast internet and free parking. Very spacious and safe parking lot. Staff is very kind and helpful. Comfortable and refreshing place. Slightly out of town. If you are to visit Bari you need a car. Breakfast was weak.
the architecthiural image and specialy the garden breacfast time
Big and free parking, fast and free internet in the room, big rooms with all necessary facilities. Late breakfast (starting at 7:30) so I couldn't have breakfast at all. Hotel is rather old and it needs some refreshment. I got an invoice issued to booking.com instead of my company name.
Location was good. No internet connection for 3 nights and the second day morning the hotel staff told me that there is no internet in all Bari, but it was a lie which I cannot appreciate...Although I am an engineer, I could not have the air-conditioner working at all nights, but I did not ask the hotel staff about it...
Very central and convenient, had everything I needed
Nice and close to the train station The restaurant really isn't worth it
Nice People, next to the railway station, modern Breakfast was not really convincingly, no fresh fruitsjuices par exemple
actually iam arrived at 10:00pm and ileft in early morning,,.the hotel close to train station. breakfast very pooooor
The staff was very helpful. Location was also excelent. They have on the site "free wi-fi internet". I stayed there for 3 days and it never worked properly.
The accomodations are good and the staff was very honest to solve a problem in my booking. Due this I really recommend this hotel.
Friendly staff .Clean room. Few facilities around. Close to train station and easy access to airport transportation. Free internet (reasonable quality). Could be cheaper.
Nice hotel very close to the train station.
A very usual and common hotel. Nothing special to notice.. The air conditioning did not work properly. The hot-cold water mixers did not work well. The TV is old CRT. The insonation is not good enough for 4 stars.
Very near from Bari central station. New hotel and clean. Hotel staff can speak English and nice/
Staff was very nice. Room was a bit noisy.
Very convenient for the station, very good check in and friendly staff who spoke english..Breakfast adequate. No information regarding local area or activities. Airconditioning in room temperature could only be set by reception from central control
It was very good for our meeting pionts and was very close to the center of Bari
The front counter staff were effecient, helpful & courteous
Nice place if you get the location at the piazza. Difficult to find and to park
not 4 star! only 3 maximum!
close to the bus connection to the airport too modern
Staff very poor in apporach to guest , fet very unwelcome in hotel as we were there for a football match
Location. Would have been nice to have a bigger TV, since the one we had was minute and some english channels.
The staff was outstanding. The lobby was interesting and comfortable and the breakfast fulfilling. The room as small but comfortable and the location very good for connecting to the train, bus or airport.
Very central though not easy to find, but that's due to Bari's complex road system. The hotel room looked more like an hospital room than a hotel, i.e. very spartan, but also spotlessly clean, with a newly refurbished bathroom and good quality towels. The hotel does not have breakfast room, we were given vouchers to go to a nice cafe nearby where we had coffee/tea, pastries, fruit juice. There is a very good pizzeria open until late just opposite the hotel. No parking. There is a private garage 50 from the hotel but it is very expensive, charging 22€ per night (for a small car) plus 3.5€ per hour after 8.30am. On the second night we decided to park the car at the autosilos near the train station for the whole night + morning for 15€ in all, and it's less than 10 mins walk to the hotel.
The excellent room and large balcony, good shower and bathroom, ability to check in early, helpful staff. Would have been good to have wi-fi in room and ability to made a cup of tea or coffee
