The attention to detail in all aspects of La Maison d'Adelaide was excellent especially the welcome and hospitality. The property is tastefully decorated and charming. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Breakfast showcased local produce and home-made jam which was all delicious. Fabienne was most helpful and accommodating. We would highly recommend this property.
It was all very good. There was nothing we didn't like.
Nice old building. Private atmosphere. Excellent location. Excellent breakfast.
Bed sheet were clean but the bed cover and the pillows had an unpleasant smell (probably not thoroughly washed). There was also a stale smell in the house.
Beautiful house in lovely location! Our hostess was very friendly and helpful and prepared us a superb breakfast!
This is a B&B of four rooms located on the 3rd and 4th floor of a mid-19th century building, with authentic fittings and furniture in the dining room and 3rd floor rooms, and modern 4th floor rooms. A word of caution: no elevator and steep stairs; not for persons with limited mobility. A nice place for an in-style stopover in a long travel, or as a base to explore the region. The host is nice and sincerely willing to do as much as possible to please guests. The breakfast consists of local organic cheese, yaghourt, bread, croissants, marmelade and orange juice, i.e. the choice is limited (ask in advance if you have special wishes). We adored our top floor room with a view of tile roofs and hills around, nice modern bathroom, very quiet at night.
No night tables in our room.
Old world medieval town. You must make your way into the old centre (Place D'Armes) and park there(free)because it is the nearest to this old 170 year property. But there are other options with a little bit more walking. The landlady is really helpful and will allow you to enter the property before the designated 6 PM if you contact her in advance..The beds are comfortable and the breakfast is delightful. You have many restaurants within 100 metres all capable of providing the most delicious food at very reasonable prices..Distinctively different from your run of the mill stopovers and you must visit the old museum (4 euro) to fully absorb the grand flavour of the place...
Perfect....it's what it says on the tin
