Great location, pleasant setting and good parking. Breakfast was adequate. Clean facilities.
Room was not as described. We booked a double for our two night stay, which was described as being 25m with a sloping ceiling. We ended up in a cramped room which did not allow for movement around the bed if our suitcase was open. The shower gel was supplied in sample like sachets with an empty dispenser on the shower wall. We left a hand towel on the floor to be replaced as it had been used, along with the foot towel, to catch surplus water from the shower, but it was left back on the towel rail wet. Only one cup of coffee/tea was provided at breakfast. Had to ask for more and felt it was an inconvenience.
Good service at dinner
One noisy party of 8 at dinner.
Breakfast was great, lovely fresh bread and local cheese and meat, really nice place
The rooms were quiet, comfortable and the shower was great. The restaurant was tasty, but had a selection of three items - so it was fresh. It's certainly unique and the staff (only saw one person) was friendly.
It's a strange mixture of nature centre, activity centre and old house, with a slight feeling that the hotel and restaurant has been shoehorned into the space alongside other elements. It's unique in that sense, but not like a traditional hotel - which is both good and bad.
Beautiful setting and comfortable room. Dinner and breakfast available at extra cost - saves having to go and find somewhere within the vicinity which is tricky as there's only a small village nearby. Ideal for a one night stopover.
