9.3 Excellent
Pros: Charming hosts and a fabulous breakfast, virtually all home-made. A comfy room with very individual touches, and a lovely area in the garden to sit and enjoy the sunshine. A lovely, warm, friendly atmosphere with nice people who are clearly genuinely out to please.
Cons: We wish we had realised that we needed to book an evening meal in advance. Somehow, other reviews gave the impression that the on-site restaurant was always open, but once we arrived we realised this was not the case. Our lovely hosts would gladly have cooked for us given prior warning, and we think other guests would appreciate being aware of this in advance so that they can book if they need to.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: People make the difference between a great holiday and a poor holiday. The welcome that you receive at this home is beyond compare. Beautiful location the room we had was just beautiful. The hosts cooked a stunning meal complete with wine. We can't wait to return and spend more time at this beautiful place.
Cons: Nothing.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: A dozen home made jams to try at breakfast. Our room had a sea view which is always welcome to Londoners. Comfy bed, friendly hosts with good English and helpful recommendations. Secure parking if you have a classic car or motorbike.
Cons: Nothing, everything exceeded expectations.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The finest breakfast in all Brittany. Evening meal also of the highest standard we ate in 4 nights and enjoyed a variety of carefully prepared delicious food. Wonderful friendly hosts, nothing too much trouble. Very comfortable bed indeed. immaculate throughout and yet rustic and charming. the area west of Roscoff is excellent for easy cycling, flat terrain spectacular empty beaches and enough to see for a weeks holiday. Friendly 9 hole golf club close by. We will certainly be back. A hidden gem.
Cons: We had to leave to come home!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A wonderful place to stay......beautiful rooms in a charming rural location, delicious food and very welcoming, thoughtful hosts (Rachel and Roberto). We will return.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Les Chambres du Mad is held by a lovely couple who are eager to share their story and rebuilt the place entirely. The property and its garden are beautiful and very nicely located. The rooms are very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Breakfast is incredible. There are also two lovely cats, as charming as their owners.
Cons: Nothing. Really.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great food. Catered for my gluten allergy really well.
Cons: Nothing
7.0 Good
Pros: The room was clean, and comfortable
Cons: We had our account debited within the free cancellation period. Our requirements are on-site secure parking, and WI fi. We parked to check in, we were told that we had to park on some rough grass area by the entrance. When we returned later, the property did not appear to have any external lighting, luckily we had a torch on our phones, as it was very dark, with neither street lighting, nor any on site lighting. The driveway had been blocked off, to prevent any parking on the driveway. We had an early ferry so had previously e mailed the property, and they offered an early breakfast. The tea coffee, were communal & OUTSIDE the room, despite showing tea coffee maker in ALL rooms, consisting a Nespresso machine and kettle with teabags and sugar, we had our own milk & decaf coffee. We were also supposed to have a bottle of water; We were surprised not to have a flannel provided, with only a bottle of shower gel provided. The booking.com photos show a bag with toiletries & flannel. When other guests returned in the early hours of the morning, it was very noisy with footsteps above. We went down for breakfast; the table was set for four. We actually would not have liked to share the same table in very close proximity with another couple. The exceptional breakfast, was very disappointing, and was very surprised to have only black bread offered for breakfast, no French bread or croissants; we were presented with a plain yogurt, which we had to put some fruit preserve in. Everything was in two’s, two apples, two plums, all very strange, and not what we expected. We were then presented a bill of 1.2 euros, for city tax, which we were told we had to pay directly; this we felt was very embarrassing. We checked booking.com site, and it shows that the city tax of .60 euro was included in the price; we therefore paid the city tax twice. We accept that individually each comment is very minor, however we felt the negatives far outweighed the positive.

Pros: We stayed only for one night and it was our first time there. Sophie was such a lovely host, speaking perfect English which made the stay so much more enjoyable for us. We had the "smallest" room in the house apparently , facing on to the garden, but it was just fine for us with an en suite bathroom and large comfy bed. We had a perfect night's sleep and breakfast, which was included in the price, was fresh and tasty with a perfect boiled egg. Coffee and tea making facilities available which is a great plus for some French B & B's. Thanks so much Sophie. We hope to return next time we're near..

Cons: Arriving in Morlaix on a Sunday afternoon means there are limited options for dinner, Francoise provided two suggestions for dinner and the La Dolca Vita was fine for us. 8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful building run by very friendly family
Cons: The building was a bit run down and the beds were small
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was the loveliest place we stayed in an already amazing trip to Brittany. I had really been looking forward to returning to Morlaix after a trip there nearly 20 years ago, and this B&B was just magical. The house and its surroundings are just lovely and the hosts are friendly. I wasn't sure if breakfast at the big table would be awkward, as I speak very limited french, but we had lovely conversations with the other guests on the days we were there. I was also a bit worried that breakfast wouldn't be vegetarian friendly, but there were no problems there either. I would very happily return here in the future.
Cons: Outside the grounds of the property, the immediate surroundings are a bit grim. There's a distance of about 50 feet where you have to walk on the road before you get to the path down to the city centre. But, honestly, it's not that big a deal. As others have said, Morlaix is in a valley and this property is at the top of the hill, so getting back and forth involves a fair amount of climbing. But it's a pleasant walk into town and we're reasonably fit, so it wasn't a problem for us.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely old manor house just up from the centre of Morlaix and very quiet and peaceful.
Cons: The bed was very squeaky! There was no hair dryer available.

Pros: Historical building right in the center of Morlaix. Large parking area not far (charged but not much). Restaurants very close but no food order after 9:30!
Cons: Awful smell in the room.

Pros: The service was the best I have ever experienced at any hotel. My wife and I are making a bike tour of Bretagne starting and ending in Morlaix. We had rental bikes shipped to the hotel packed in boxes. The hotel agreed to receive these two days before our arrival and stored the shipping boxes and our luggage for 6 days while we were on our tour. There’s was some minor damage to the bikes in transport and the staff helped my to find a place to get parts and arrange transportation there. The location is right in the heart of the old town. The rooms are large (by French standards) and bright. The bed was comfortable.

Pros: Very close to the main roads but Satnav thought different. Easy check in and comfortable room. Nice breakfast too
Cons: It was very worn inside, carpets stained and paintwork needs refreshing. Very expensive for a family of 4 to eat in the restaurant as prices on the high side for simple food and drinks

Pros: The pool, the jacuzzi, the room was very comfortable & the bathroom was clean
Cons: The fact that the restaurant was closed & the attitude of the receptionist when we left & non reception at breakfast
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located on a small industrial estate on the outskirts of Morlaix. There was a restaurant attached to the hotel but we decided to catch the local bus into Morlaix and then walked back - 30 minutes mainly uphill. For a few hundred yards that required walking along a busy road with no footpath. Hotel very clean and tidy, secure storage was provided for our bikes. There is a small but very nice indoor heated swimming pool - a real bonus after being out in the sun all day.
Cons: A little awkward to get to. Not a problem if you are travelling by car.
