Pros: Nice place with rustic charm and a friendly atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was fantastic! Also the beds very comfortable
Cons: Toilet didnt work. Big spider on the window under the curtain
6.8 Good
Pros: BEAUTIFUL PLACE, NICE GARDEN, NICE CLEAN ROOM, NICE ATMOSPHERE!
Cons: WE HAD TO LEAVE AT 8 AM, IT WAS NOT POSSIBLE TO GET A BREAKFAST BEFORE 8.30 A.M. ALTHOUGH WE GOT SOMETHING FOR ON THE ROAD= A CHEESEBURGER, NO DRINK! THIS WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great for me because I had a business meeting downtown. I actually walked to the office! Amenities were great and staff was very friendly as well.
Cons: I didn’t like the heat! It was hot and humid, but luckily the rooms had modern AC units that also extract moisture from the air, so that really helped!
5.8 Okay
Pros: Sunset at the porch
Cons: First of all, we rented a house with kitchen. Kitchen room was locked as it was still being “built” so we paid for something offered in the website that was not even ready in reality. Breakfast was just OK but pretty disappointing considering the good reviews we read about it (pancakes undercooked, poached eggs overcooked, jam on the table but no bread given to spread it over, not a second cup of coffee offered...)
5.0 Okay
Pros: The best thing about this place was the coffee.
Cons: When we arrived it was hard to find the entrance. Instead of being in the front where it should be it was in the back and not clearly marked so we didn't get the experience of entering a beautiful "plantation home". The kitchen was dirty and very messy. When we arrived, the staff was not very welcoming, very quickly signed us in, asked us which breakfast we wanted, showed us our room and darted off. We stayed in the back in the "Bourbon" which is a 2 bed/1 bath house. It was supposed to have a "garden view" which was actually a large mudpit surrounded by poison ivy. The brick path leading from our room to the house is a lawsuit waiting to happen--single bricks just thrown on the dirt which made it hard for my elderly father (and me) to walk. This place reminded me of that movie "Skeleton Key"--I almost expected Gena Rowlands to jump from the shadows. Breakfast is a fixed menu and you are seated at a large farmstyle table. The food was good but the woman who greeted us in the morning was less than authentic or welcoming. Rather than feel like welcomed guests we felt like unwelcome relatives who they couldn't wait to get rid of. This experience was entirely disappointing.
7.5 Good
Pros: It's a really lovely antebellum house with a large garden and courtyard. Cocktails were offered between 4.30 and 6 pm which was a nice way to engage with other guests. Our room on the first floor opened on to a veranda with a swing seat - a very relaxing place to sit and read. There was also a fabulous chandelier over the bed
Cons: It was all a little below par compared to some other places we stayed at on our trip. The bed was small and too soft so we rolled into the centre and the air conditioning was behind heavy curtains so we didn't sleep very well at all. The shower was also terrible, very few jets and constantly switching between boiling and freezing. Also the water and coffee in our room weren't replenished the second day. Breakfast had to be ordered the night before and consisted of a small bowl of fruit followed by a choice of just two dishes with no deviation so either bacon and eggs with pancakes and syrup; or shrimps with grits and biscuits. There were no healthy options and everyone was served at the same time, whether you were ready or not. Also one other slight concern, the rooms had no locks. This didn't bother us except that the house was also unlocked all day when no-one seemed to be around, which did make us wonder about the security of our valuables.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Warm hospitality and delicious Cajun breakfast.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was a neat quirky property. The owner cares a lot about giving guests a nice experience. I really enjoyed the family style breakfast and cocktail hour. The furnishings are beautiful antiques.
Cons: The water pressure in the shower on the 3 rd floor was a little low. But I wasn’t surprised. A 200 year old house is going to have some issues.

Pros: The staff tried to ease my mind when I called concerned about scathing reviews I read about this property on line. RED LION should wake up to this critical situation - as this property is hurting their brand & losing customers.
Cons: We were literally the only 3 rooms checked into this monstrous looking old Crowne Plaza, turned Raddison, turned RLH with over 250 rooms and meeting space - def a first for us. This property is no where close to a 3 star - pls stop selling it that way!

Pros: The rooms are extremely clean and the staff is extremely welcoming.
Cons: The elevator broke and I had to pack everything alone up and down stairs for two days. I got stuck on the elevator with a cleaning lady for about 20 minutes because it would not nor would the door open.

Pros: The staff is professional and caring. The hotel is clean and attractive. The location is easily accessible.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located very conveniently for local attractions. Beds are new and very comfortable; rooms are extremely spacious and clean. Though close, road noise from the Interstate was completely unnoticeable. The ladies with whom I interacted at the front desk were very friendly and helpful as well.
Cons: Overall, a great hotel experience. The only complaints I could make are that the hallways and elevators were uncomfortably warm, and it would have been nice if there were vending machines somewhere.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were all very energetic and friendly. The facility from the lobby all the way to the rooms were very clean. The breakfast was hot and had a very good selection. Omelettes, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy, assorted breads, fruit, yogurt, beverage bar, pancakes, and I saved the best for last - the coffee was excellent!

Cons: The breakfast staff was awful. We went down at 8:00 and there was only 2 omelets, a little gravy and a few pieces of ham with some danishes and cereal. When I asked the breakfast lady if she was going to bring out more food she got hostile. Awful service

6.8 Good
Pros: Breakfast was a typical hotel hot breakfast.
Cons: The hotel building and furniture haven't been updated recently.
5.5 Okay
Pros: The breakfast
Cons: Well I wanted 2 non smoking rooms, I ended up with a 1 smoking and 1 non. I didn't realize it till I got in the room with the kids. It was a horrible smell and on top of that room 415 the sheer curtains had small tears and wouldn't slide open. The floor had a red stain on it and the beds are older beds and moved a little when you turned over. The light in the elevator was going out, and it was dark. I will never stay there again.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast and place was very nice.
Cons: The beds. They were very strange. They moved slot. Don’t know how to describe it!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location was easy to find. The breakfast for great. The room was neat and clean. TV was good quality. Was only there a short time but I enjoyed my stay with Pear Tree.
Cons: The only thing I would suggest that you change would be the lighting in the bathroom. The lighting needs to be brighter, stronger when appling makeup.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: will come again, Thank you
Cons: Will come again
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room were clean and comfortable, the breakfast was very good.
Cons: Noisy at times, the front desk staff was helpful but sometimes took a long time to get to the guest.
5.8 Okay
Pros: There was secure parking available for our 2 U-Hauls.
Cons: I called twice prior to making a reservation and each time was welcomed with VERY pleasant and professional customer service. I was expecting the same upon check in; but unfortunately was let down. The receptionist did not even offer a smile or a hello, but instead checked me in as quickly as possible and went back to another office out of sight. Ok, whatever, my main concern with a hotel booking is the actual room. In this regard, everything met our expectations. Clean and comfortable enough. Breakfast offered a nice spread with tasty options, so that is a plus.
6.3 Good
Pros: Breakfast was ok
Cons: Property outdated, no liners in trash cans, breakfast over at 9:30, mattresses need replaced, furniture didn’t match, and my grandson couldn’t even connect his game system to the tv.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Great breakfast.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Sidewalks and grassy areas for walking your pet.
Cons: There was a lot of door slamming through much of the night ( you need the hold on to the doors when they are no closing or they slam shut). We had to turn the fan on to help drown out the noise.
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast
Cons: Could be cheaper
5.0 Okay
Pros: Staff was wonderful
Cons: I will not stay there again very disappointed

Pros: How clean the rooms were
5.0 Okay
Pros: Walking into the hotel was inviting.
Cons: I didn’t like the way the room was cleaned pretty much wasn’t clean the bare minimal was done. They didn’t change the sheets, did not vacuum, and they never had trash bags in the trash cans either day of my stay. I ended up having to put a bag in the trash can. The first night and all they did was empty it out and left the target bag I used there as the trash bag. There were cheese wrappers from the previous visit my assumption. Breakfast was okay but there was more help needed to getting the food out. We ended up not eating the last morning there of our stay. For the price of 124.00 a night it was a huge disappointment.

Cons: I truly don't have any complaints.
7.5 Good
Pros: I enjoyed the cleanliness and comfortably of the location. At first when I arrived the building stucco was in need of a gd power washing but the grounds were clean and decorative. My flight got in early and I was able to check in early so that was great. I was pleasantly surprised with the breakfast that was offered in the mornings. It was a gd spread including scrambled eggs, sausage, home fries, make your own waffles, bagels, toast, cereal, yogurt and juices. The room was clean and eventhough I did not leave my room until 3pm, it was refreshed when I returned. Location is ok. Not really near anything except the airport but you can get to places fairly quickly. It is on a main connecting road so during the week it is fairly busy. Overall I'm am pleased with my visit to this location.
Cons: I don't have much to say about things I did not like.
10.0 Excellent
