The location is perfect being only a short distance from the beautiful square. We paid a little extra to have a larger room and bed which we appreciated. In our room, there was an inadequate window area and a rather bleak view. Giant super quality television & Nespresso coffee machine. Very good bathroom. The breakfast was also very good & the staff very pleasant.

The natural light in the bedroom. I think that all hotel bathrooms should be equipped with a toilet brush. It seems to be a trend in certain establishments not to do so but it can be unpleasant for the person who is sharing the room and the chambermaid. Most people like to tidy up after themselves.

It was near the places we wanted to visit. Really good location . Parking was near and good enough. The room was clean. Hotel staff were kind .

Excellent location only a few metres from Plaza Mayor. Our room was a good size and very comfortable, with a couch and large bed.

The pool was a bit disappointing. It’s tiny, and there’s nowhere to sit in the shade around it, which is what we’d been hoping for.

Location excellent. The hotel was very comfortable. To travel with kids it is a priceless hotel.

We were able to sleep with the windows open it was quiet and comfortable. The passageway to Plaza Mayor was adjacent and walking around in the evening was lovely and safe.

Navigating around in the bathroom was a bit snug but not a problem.

Location...though the one-way system defeated our SatNav and we had to park and walk around trying to find the hotel...which took the best part of an hour !

The receptionist's attitude when i couldn't produce our passports, despite having a booking.com reservation form printed-out in Spanish for them, their acknowledgement of the booking....resulting in a further long delay whilst i walked back to the car park and my car to retrieve our passports. Not a good start !

The Catalonia Plaza Mayor in Salamanca is the hotel to stay when visting the city. It is just 2 minutes from the Plaza Mayor and is very peacefull. The staff is very helpfull and the hotel very confortable. Everything is near the hotel and one can reach evrywhere by walking.

The breakfast room is on the basement, no windows! Although the buffet is good.

The front desk staff was so nice and helpful. The room itself was decorated so nicely. The breakfast was great.

The lack of a functional a/c. It is controlled and was a bit hot and uncomfortable to sleep.

- it was clean - decent shower - albeit a bath/shower which is not my preference- and a very very comfortable bed.

The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was very clean. The lobby had a great place off to the side that had a living room type atmosphere. Very relaxing and comfortable.

Good central location - really handy for Plaza. Friendly staff, clean well appointed rooms. Enjoyed the gym too.

The access is somehow difficult. It is not properly defined by GPS. Breakfast has no fruits already prepared.

Very good location to explore Salamanca, a few steps from Plaza Mayor and about 400-500 m. from the Cathedral. Parking space close by for a reduced rate.

We were given room 501, which has a huge terrace overlooking the top of Plaza Mayor. The room was on the small side, but we had plenty of room. The bed was soft but comfortable and the amenities were nice. We had a great stay!

Excellent location on the edge of old city with a great selection of sights, bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. Very convenient public parking garage. 20 minute parking bay outside door so easy to check in and unload.

Not hotel's fault, but Salamanca's one-way system defeated our satnav. You need to negotiate this arriving and when you pick up your luggage to leave. Our 1st floor room had a patio with a central heating vent that sounded like a jumbo taking off. Bar looked a bit pricey so didn't try.

The location of the property is excellent. Steps away from the Plaza Mayor. The room size was good with a large bathroom. Everything was clean and staff was friendly and helpful.
