Opt for a Room with a View
Several guests recommended choosing a room with a balcony facing the garden, inner courtyard, or mountain view for a more enjoyable stay.
Consider Noise Levels
Some guests mentioned noise disturbances, such as roosters, dog barks, and street noise. Bringing earplugs or requesting a room away from the street could help mitigate this issue.
Check Hot Water Availability
Several guests reported issues with hot water in certain rooms. It may be beneficial to confirm hot water availability in the chosen room before booking.
Mind the Room Size
Some guests found the rooms to be small, particularly the bathrooms. Consider this when selecting a room, and if space is a concern, inquire about room size options.
Wi-Fi Access
While the hotel offers free Wi-Fi, some guests noted that the connection was stronger in certain areas, such as the reception. Guests reliant on a strong Wi-Fi connection may want to consider this when choosing a room.
Consider Room Location
Guests recommended rooms with a view of the valley for a more pleasant experience. Additionally, rooms facing the inside of the hotel were noted to be bright, so guests sensitive to light may want to request a room with blackout curtains.
Address Breakfast Expectations
While many guests praised the breakfast, some found it basic or not as expected. Setting realistic expectations for the breakfast could help avoid disappointment.
Inquire About Payment Methods
Some guests experienced issues with credit card payments. It may be helpful to confirm payment methods and functionality before arrival.
Address Noise Isolation
Several guests mentioned noise from outside or within the hotel. Requesting a room with better noise isolation or bringing earplugs could enhance the quality of sleep.
Consider Bathroom Amenities
Some guests reported issues with bathroom amenities, such as inconsistent water temperature and lack of shower head. Inquiring about these amenities before booking could help ensure a comfortable stay.
